Chapter 75: Nuwa Future Technology Company

“Registering a company isn’t hard, and it doesn’t require that much money. What kind of company are you planning to register?” Qiao Xier asked, “A pharmaceutical company?”

“A pharmaceutical company?” Zhang Yang’s eyes lit up. “I don’t think the company’s business should be limited to pharmaceuticals—energy, materials, electronics, dicine, even military equipnt. What do you think?”

“What?” Qiao Xier was stunned. “Energy, materials, electronics, pharmaceuticals, even military equipnt? Your appetite’s way too big! You think this is like opening a store? Even a store doesn’t pop up that fast.”

Zhang Yang glanced at her with a mischievous grin. “You have that little confidence in ?”

“Confidence? Of course I do—if you’re talking about biotech, that’s your forte. But the rest? Forget it. Don’t think that just because you’ve got so money you can start throwing it around. I’m not letting you ss around,” Qiao Xier said impatiently.

“So you’ll help or not?”

“No way!”

“Fine, I’ll find soone else. Guess it’s only natural if a young student like gets scamd.”

Qiao Xier grabbed a pillow off the bed and threw it at him. “Asshole! You just love bullying . Fine, what’s the na of this stupid company of yours?”

Zhang Yang chuckled, rubbed his nose, and said, “Nuwa Future Technology Company. But I also want you to register Nuwa Electronics, Nuwa Materials, Nuwa Energy, Nuwa Pharmaceuticals, and Nuwa Heavy Industries—five subsidiaries.”

“I give up…” Qiao Xier pulled out her iPad, noted all the nas, then held out her hand. “ID card and bank card.”

“Why?”

“Duh. Without an ID or money, how are you supposed to be the company’s legal representative?”

Zhang Yang looked at her, pulled out his wallet, and handed her his ID card.

Qiao Xier took it, glanced at it, and giggled, wrinkling her cute nose. “Well, well, born on February 14th—Valentine’s Day! No wonder you’re surrounded by won.”

The next day brought bad news. Although Gao Qi’s father had survived the critical stage, the damage to his brain was severe. Only the subcortical systems remained active. The doctors diagnosed him with PVS—a vegetative state.

The news left Gao Qi and He Shan stunned. The always-tough Qi-jie broke down in tears. Xu Danlu and Liu Zixuan comforted her for hours before she finally cald down, only to throw herself into Zhang Yang’s arms, pounding his chest and crying, “Yangzi, you’re amazing, right? You even made that anti-cancer drug. Make sothing to cure my dad too—please, save him!”

Qiao Xier looked at Zhang Yang and quickly patted Gao Qi’s shoulder. “Qi-jie, don’t be like this. Yangzi’s found a way to suppress cancer cells, but this is completely different. Your father’s case is due to acute brain injury. As long as his body is well maintained, there’s still a chance he’ll wake up. Right now, ensuring proper nutrition and organ function is what matters most.”

Hearing that, Gao Qi nodded through her tears. “I know… I just can’t accept it.”

Zhang Yang looked at her and said softly, “Qi-jie, I promise I’ll wake your father up. But it’ll take ti—maybe a month, two, or six. But I guarantee I’ll find a way within a year.”

“A year?” Qiao Xier blinked at him. “Are you kidding?”

“I’m not kidding.” Zhang Yang exhaled deeply. “If I can make an anti-cancer drug, creating one to treat a vegetative patient won’t be impossible.”

Qiao Xier stared at him in disbelief. If you really pull that off, she thought, you’re not human—you’re a damn god.

“Really, Yangzi?” Gao Qi’s tears turned into a smile as she hugged him tightly. “If you can cure my dad, I’ll do anything for you. Forget being your mistress—I’ll be your third, fourth, fifth, even eighteenth woman! And I’ll do whatever Danlu does for you too!”

Xu Danlu rushed over and clamped a hand over her mouth before she could finish.

Even so, everyone nearby was left speechless. That woman was wild.

Keeping her father alive cost a fortune, and since he wasn’t a local, there was no insurance coverage. Though Gao Qi’s current family was wealthy and her adoptive parents treated her well, she felt too embarrassed to ask them for money.

As her boyfriend, Zhang Yang naturally paid five hundred thousand in advance and, through Yang Jing’s connections, secured a private VIP ward so the sisters could stay with peace of mind.

Of course, that money was fronted by Qiao Xier.

What annoyed Zhang Yang, though, was that Gao Qi’s adoptive parents flew back from the Maldives the sa day to take over managing Qingyuan Hotel. Gao Qi and He Shan stayed at the hospital in shifts, so Zhang Yang had to postpone verifying whether she was a Star nder—not to ntion the little biting ga she had promised him.

He couldn’t exactly bring it up now—doing that while her father was like this would be beyond ssed up.

But Qiao Xier worked fast with the company registration. By Thursday, Zhang Yang already had the initial paperwork. What was left was capital verification, license application, tax registration, and hiring an accountant. He needed a proper accounting system.

Qiao Xier had planned to handle it all, but when Gao Qi heard Zhang Yang was starting a company, she volunteered to take over.

After all, she was one of ining University’s top graduates in the Mathematics Departnt’s accounting program and had earned her accountant’s certification early.

She had also designed and managed Qingyuan Hotel’s accounting system herself.

Though the company wasn’t officially operational yet, its headquarters had already been decided—the villa itself.

It was now the operational headquarters of Nuwa Future Technology Company.

The company had four mbers: CEO and legal representative Zhang Yang, Assistant Manager Xu Danlu, Director of the Pharmaceutical Departnt Qiao Xier, and Accountant Gao Qi.

The registered capital was twenty million, which left Qiao Xier speechless. She thought tossing in a hundred thousand would’ve been plenty.

All the money ca from Qiao Xier. Zhang Yang wanted to give her half the shares, but she scoffed at the idea and, after much insistence, only accepted a token two percent.

“Ha, you’ll regret this one day,” Zhang Yang said, lightly flicking her nose.

Qiao Xier slapped his hand away and rolled her eyes. “Regret? Yeah right. No matter how big your company gets, it’s not beating my mom’s Lancheng Group.” She pinched her fingers together. “Eight hundred and forty-three billion—that’s Lancheng’s current valuation. And you? Twenty million. A four-thousandfold gap. Work hard, classmate.”

“And what if Nuwa Company surpasses your mom’s Lancheng?” Zhang Yang asked, amused.

“Surpass?” Qiao Xier shot him a glance, pointed at her chest, and flashed a rare seductive smile. “If that happens, I’ll offer myself to you, pervert. You can do whatever you want. Deal?”

Zhang Yang swallowed hard. “Deal. No backing out.”

“I’ll be waiting!”

“Ahem… since that’s the case, how about paying a little interest first?”

Qiao Xier tilted her head. “What do you an?”

“How about letting squeeze your boobs a bit, huh… Ow! When the hell did you grab that stick?!”
