Qi Fuyi took a mont's pause, and then he shook his head. "Nah. I'll search for funding. I won't stop. I know they are like this because of a single scandal error on Androda, which, if we dig deep, is sure to be part of so ploy. Shouldn't the agency cover this up easily?"
"Not when she hasn't brought them huge profits as compared to other actresses," Chao Jin Ho reminded him.
"I do, but if given the chance, I think she'll break the record for having the biggest sale on her first movie in this company. I believe in her."
As much as Chao Jin Ho understood what Qi Fuyi was saying, it could not change the fact that the people Androda and he were going against indirectly were powerful people hell-bent on making things hard for her.
"Things aren't going to be easier from now on, but I like your determination, and with this push, I know you can succeed. Anyway, I ca here with news for you."
At once, Qi Fuyi's eyes flew open as he jolted to his feet. "What is it?" he asked as he slamd his hand on the table more enthusiastically than planned.
"Liu Xueyi has news for you. He has backing, and he is sure your movie production will continue within the week."
Qi Fuyi could not explain the joy that flowed within him at the mont. All he knew was that he could literally cry, jump, squeal, laugh and kiss Chao Jin Ho right there.
But even in his mont of excitent, he reminded himself that he wasn't gay, and neither was Director Chao.
Regardless, he wore a genuine expression filled with gratitude as he walked around the table to stand in front of his friend.
"Thank you so much, Jin Ho. I could literally kiss..." Qi Fuyi did not get to complete his statent when Chao Jin Ho tilted his head away, evading the incoming snuggling he was going to get from his friend.
"Let's just save all those for the lovely gender." Qi Fuyi pouted in response, but that did not deter Chao Jin Ho. "Stop behaving like a kid. Now it is ti to get to work. Production needs to be faster, Qi Fuyi. Do not let Liu Xueyi down."
"You do not have to tell three tis, Jin Ho. I'll make him proud and make everyone see."
"That's good. It would be the best way to thank him."
"Yeah, and this ti around, I am no longer going to cut scenes from Xu Ming's character to make the female lead's role stand out."
"Enh?" Chao Jin Ho was in shock, unable to believe the words his friend said.
"Yes, she has more fight scenes, acting as an obstacle to ml and fl. She'll fair nicely if I leave the original plot."
"But... she's not even the second female lead," Chao Jin Ho argued.
"True to that but she isn't weak, and her character and actions—let's not forget her bratty sister—all make up for a strong side villain only in the eyes of others aside from the viewers and it will help pull out the female lead."
Chao Jin Ho shook his head. "Co on, you're not making much sense."
"I am."
"What if Fang Qian Qian acts up?"
"But her family is pulling strings wrongly. And she isn't my boss. It's my strike. Next ti, they better think in the right direction, or I leave."
"Yes, but like you said, they are pulling strings wrongly. Just watch your back and try not to give Liu Xueyi a tough ti. He may be lenient and tough, but the chairman is on a different scale of tough, one ford from the harsh realities of life."
Although Qi Fuyi felt he could argue the whole situation back-to-back, he did not want to engage in anything like that.
He was glad that things were working their way finally. "I have heard your warning, Jin Ho. Thanks."

The second Androda heard the news when she was outing with Gu Jun, she felt her spirit being lifted up.
Of course, Liu Xueyi did not inform her of the issues the movie faced and at once tried to counter it should the Fang family do anything stupid.
Seeing the new investor he got, they imdiately made adjustnts to their behaviour and quickly continued financing the movie.
Thanks to that, Androda felt she could go on with her event, but when she voiced her intent to Gu Jun, the latter had a different thought in mind.
"I'm sorry to say this, Androda, but you have to completely cancel the et and greet."
To say Androda felt choked up was an understatent. "Why?" she questioned.
She hoped that with things fixed, she could use this to also clear her na and if Liu Xueyi was free, he could show up, probing her haters wrong that she was two-timing.
"You're kidding , right?" Gu Jun blinked severally as he placed his hand on the table. "Andy, your safety matters first. You can't let anything issue get into our head."
"I just want to prove that I won't let anything deter because of a false scandal. I am not bothered by it that way," she tried to reason.
"I know. However, you should know you have no need to prove anything. The coals are still hot; let the dust settle," Gu Jun advised.
Gu Jun knew his best friend was a stubborn soul, but even at that, he couldn't let anything happen to her. He knew Liu Xueyi in all his right senses and would not allow her to consider such, but given how terribly stubborn she could get, talking sense into her head beca a part of his job.
"Rather than killing yourself over this, do sothing else. Sothing productive and engage in other gigs for modelling and the like. I am sure your competitors have made plans to sabotage you during your event."
Androda's shoulders shrugged as she played with her food slowly.
"Androda Kai, you are a smart lady. Prove right and triumph over that actress, Fang Qian Qian." Just as Gu Jun finished his words, he shuddered slightly. "I do not know why those bearing Fang around you end up being jackasses."
A small smile graced Androda's lips, fully understanding what he ant. "I get it."
