It took Sun Yichen so seconds before he could move his lips to respond. But that was enough ti for Yu An.
Her lips curled upward, revealing a side smirk as her eyelids fluttered close.
"Yu An." He gulped. "I…"
She lifted her palm, silencing him. He did not need to answer. She knew what he had in mind, hesitating like that.
"She ans more."
"No!" he responded sharply. "She doesn't."
"Oh…" the sign of intrigue in her voice, left him feeling how dry his throat was and when Yu An opened her eyes once more, they sparkled with deep interest.
"How so? Can you prove it that I an more to you than Fang Daiyu?"
He was going to kiss her to prove it and remind her who has had his body, ti and care since but he stopped.
"First, I need to know what I an to you."
"What?" She arched her brow, silently waiting for him to explain but he didn't.
She wasn't daft. She knew what he ant and he needed an assurance as well.
Seeing the firm look in his eyes, Yu An finally relaxed.
"Of what use is telling you that when you are still engaged to her? You think I want to be a mistress?"

"No, save it."

She shut her eyes once more. She didn't want to hear that as his excuse.
She knew he was a man who could prove it and if so, shouldn't he be down on his knees asking for her hand in marriage?
"Then prove it," she snapped, turning her head in his direction, her gaze penetrating his defense."
"I can't just break things with her. My parents aren't just..."
Before he could co up with another excuse, she lifted her palm, silencing him.
She was honestly tired. This wasn't supposed to go this far.
They were to get into business. Use him also to et other influential people, and after that move on to the next target.
What was she doing now that she had feelings?
As soon as those thoughts crossed her mind, Yu An was reminded of her aunt's stern warning.
'You've been seeing him a lot lately, An. You are already doing business with him. What's the matter?'
She would often deny that it was one eting or the other.
'Since when do the etings cause you to mostly have a sleepover? Much worse, since when did etings provide hickey all over your neck?'
She would blush and brush off the topic.
'Until how long would you keep fucking him? He has a fiancé. Very soon you'd be seen as nothing more than the other woman.' Her aunt would scold her ever so often.
But what could she say?
Was it just that she loved the sex or what? At first, that was the reason. She just wanted to seduce him into doing business, just like most n whom she didn't have to lift a finger before they jumped in at the thought of being inside her.
For Yichen, he was different. Very different.
Although her charm was strong, his was on a whole different level and she found herself giving in, taking things further, and wanting more of him.

A deep sigh fell from Yu An's lips. Then she drew closer to him, her eyes and intent masked by her soft charm.
"We didn't need to label things at the beginning. There were no strings attached. Just two fitting individuals having a nice ti."
Likewise, he sighed in response. "Says the one who got demanding of my ti and dick. I must say, you seem to have gotten addicted to it, Ms. Yu."
She scoffed at his joke, her smile spilling into her eyes as she quickly turned him, bringing him beneath her.
Taking hold of her sweet opportunity, she climbed on top of Sun Yichen and imdiately let her womanly assets rest on him, slowly gliding at him.

"It seems I cannot run now, can I?" Sun Yichen sighed in defeat. "Fine, he's all yours."

~Delta District — Tang Yan's Office~
While things seed to be going smoothly for everyone, Tang Yan was busy engrossed in his work when his phone rang.
Taking a break from his laptop screen, he picked up his phone, his face lighting up briefly as he answered it.
It was his girlfriend. Ever since the incident with Gu Jun, he had not seen the latter and she often tried to et less, stating she needed ti to process her thoughts.
Being the nice guy he was, he did just that, stating he was there whenever she was ready.
Luckily, she couldn't avoid Gu Jun any longer and after speaking once more since the hospital ti, she found the courage to put things behind her.
Thanks to that, the last two weeks had been filled with him getting calls from her at work and a surprise visit now and then.
"Hello, love." His deep voice rang out soothingly. "Coming over today?"
"Yes, but I will visit your place and not the office," Mo Yuning inford him.
"I see." Tang Yan smiled as he leaned back into his chair. "How are you and how is your day going?"
"It's pretty much okay. Gu Jun, Ji Hao and I got together for lunch and well, we spoke about you."
"?" His eyes flew open at being the apparent subject of discussion amongst her colleagues.
Sensing this, Mo Yuning couldn't help herself and burst into an uproar of laughter.
"Silly girl, stop laughing at your man."
"My apologies," she said amidst giggling. "You're just too cute, Yan. It was just a friendly discussion when they complinted the necklace you got ."
"Oh," his voice trailed off as he tried to imagine the scene play out. "Wait."
"Yes?"
"Did Gu Jun really complint it? Isn't he… I an, does he not feel sad about everything?"
"No. He was happy for . Co to think of it," she began but paused briefly. "I an, even if he did, he wouldn't show it, not to at least."
Her chest rose and fell slowly as she exhaled, her mind deeply preoccupied with thoughts of her hanging out with the guys.
"I understand," Tang Yan stated with a smile. "Honestly, I believe he is brave and a good man. Many wouldn't be able to do that."
"That's what makes him special," Mo Yuning blurted out without thinking. However, just as she did, she realized her mistake.
"Ohhh… I see my girl praising another man in my presence. Are you trying to make jealous?" Tang Yan asked and crossed his legs on his desk while patiently waiting for how she was going to get out of this pit she dug for herself.
"No, no, no. I an, that's not what I… Wait." Suddenly, the air around Mo Yuning changed. "What if I am? Do not tell you are jealous, eh."
His brows creased a little bit. She was really playing a dangerous ga. If only she was with him now.
"You're lucky you're far away, Yuning. Else, I would have kissed the living daylights out of you till you forgot all about Gu Jun."
"Oh my."
"Besides, why would I be jealous when I know your heart is mine and mine alone?"
"Hehhee, I like the sound of that, but I wonder, how are you going to make rember?"
Almost at the sa ti, the sa naughty thought ran through their minds as both parties couldn't help their ragged breaths, imagining the intimate monts they had shared.
Just then, a notification popped up on Gu Jun's laptop screen, and just as he decided to close his laptop, he saw the title.
"Shit."
Startled, Mo Yuning questioned him, confusion evident in her voice. "What?"
"Umm, it's business. I… I'm sorry, baby. But sothing important ca up. I need to inform Liu Xueyi impromptu. He's been waiting for this."
"Okay. I guess it's till later then?"
"Yeah, I may not return on ti though. I'll pick you up after work so you do not have to get bored waiting for at ho."
"Nah. It's cool. I need to prepare a nice dinner anyway. Alright love, take care."
With that, he ended the call and imdiately clicked on the email. "Holly Molly, he was right."
Turning his head to the side where his phone sat on his desk, he picked it up and placed a call to Liu Xueyi.
On the first call, Liu Xueyi did not respond. "Damn it! Pick up, man," Tang Yan grunted and tried again.
It wasn't until the second ring that Liu Xueyi answered the call. "Hello?"
"Xueyi, bad news. You were right. Kai's family is heading for disaster."
