CHAPTER 396
Imdiately Androda arrived, she was greeted by Fu Chu Hua. Relief washed over her face as she lowered her head a little to greet Androda.
"Welco, Ms. Kai."
"Thanks. Now tell , what should I be expecting when I go in? Is Xueyi feeling alright or?"
"The boss seems fine."
"But?" Androda started for her.
"I know this is not my place, Ms. Kai, but there is soone in there with him." She noticed the frown on Androda's face and paused.
It really was a bad idea, Fu Chu Hua thought and was about denying everything. Thankfully Androda sensed the problem quickly.
Calmly snatched her hand and held it between hers. "Trust , what is it? I would not react badly."
She sighed in defeat. As much as she wished to say no, she knew her boss may need his girlfriend's help but he would like to admit it.
"A lady is in there."
"For a business eting? Is he having a clash or using his mad mood to ruin things."
"I wish it was that simple. The boss is in there with an old fla as she called herself," Fu Chu Hua used her fingers to make the quote for Androda to understand.
She released the lady's right hand and stiffened for a mont.
An old fla.
To date the one issue Liu Xueyi has failed to speak to her about was exactly that old fla.
For reasons best known to them, she seed to have left a big hold in his heart and now she was back?
She gave her best reassuring smile to Fu Chu Hua, thanked her and began her short journey to her CEO's office.
"I hope I did the right thing," Fu Chu Hua almost lanted out loud.
"Trust , you did," Androda called out and placed her hand on the door.
To Fu Chu Hua's shock, she did not knock and pushed the door open as the feisty young lady called Liu Xueyi's na fondly.
"Xueyi, I..."
Fu Chu Hua's eyes flew wide open. Without thinking, she left her desk and hurried over to stop Androda when she saw the sight that made the young miss stop in her track.
On the other hand, the second Zheng Ying caught sight of Androda, she knew she would not have a chance to do what she wanted.
Her goal was to co here for her child but now that she saw how beautiful the woman Liu Xueyi had as his girlfriend, she felt a strong jolt of jealousy and wished to take back what she once had.
"Andy," Liu Xueyi enunciated. A small smile ford on his lips while focusing his attention on the lady. "I was..."
His words and action of fleeing were cut off when Zheng Ying grabbed his tie without prior notice and pulled him towards her.
Similarly, she pushed forward and kissed him.
Androda stood in shock at the scene before her. Fu Chu Hua who wasn't expecting anything like this had her mouth agape at the terrible scene.
"This is bad," she muttered those words without thinking.
As soon as she realized Androda was close to her, she gulped, clamping her lips shut.
Reacting fast, Liu Xueyi pushed Zheng Ying back, breaking the kiss in the process and glared daggers at her.
If eyes could kill then the least of Zheng Ying's worries wouldn't be Liu Xueyi's anger but the fury of the patient woman walking in.
"Heads will roll," Fu Chu Hua whispered as she took this opportunity to shut the door.
It wasn't every day she saw Androda fighting with another girl for her man and while she knew soone like Jian Xiaofei would be thrilled to watch and stay, this was way more than Androda. It was her boss' private life.
"Excuse , sir." Her voice wasn't loud also so as not to draw too much attention to herself and make Liu Xueyi more embarrassed.
The door closed with a low sound alerting Zheng Ying whose face was perfectly sared with her mischievous grin.
"Get out," Liu Xueyi growled. He wiped his lips with the back of his hand while maintaining eye contact with her.
Zheng Ying took one look at Androda, returned her attention to Liu Xueyi and pointed at the picture.
"From the little I told you, I think you should know who he is. Six years and sick."
"Are you done?" Androda cut in from behind. The aura seeping out of her was enough to put fear in the hearts of many.
She was pissed. She finally understood why she felt strange today. Soone was trying to steal her man right under her nose.
Rather than answering or getting scared, Zheng Ying's smile only grew. "I'll see you soon. My contact is on the back of that picture. Be sure to hurry. I am no patient woman."
To Androda's surprise, Liu Xueyi did not say anything even though his anger was etched properly on his face.
Getting that as her cue, Zheng Ying picked up her purse, winked at Liu Xueyi and turned on her heels.
She bead a smile at Androda, stopped right by her side and in a whisper, declared her war. "I'm back. Get ready to be his ex."
With that she walked away, leaving the couple to sort themselves out.
She knew that one way or the other Liu Xueyi could not get rid of her. She had good leverage over him even if they went to court.
Her son was sick.
Bang!
Androda folded her arms in front of her chest as she waited for a good explanation as to what was happening.
"Andy I..."
"First," with her palm held up, she interrupted him quickly, "I won't run away or think too much like the case with Gao Yuemi. All I want to know is everything about your past and old lovers. You know all of mine."
He did not refute her words. He knew right now she wanted the truth but he needed to wrap his brain around things first.
"Not now."
Her brain malfunctioned from that phrase. Not now?!
"What? I should wait first till she takes you away from before you know it is the ti to talk?"
"No. It won't happen."
"It can and..." She bit her lower lip. She should not say that as though she was accepting defeat but it was true.
"One question," she said through gritted teeth. Just the thought of what she was going to ask was beginning to make her brain shake. "Answer truthfully." Androda lifted her eyes, this ti she held his gaze strongly.
A part of her knew the answer but she really hoped he would see her plea in her eyes and choose wisely.
"I promise."
"Would you call her?"
His gaze softened. He knew his reply would definitely hurt her but now there were questions in his head.
"Yes."
"Fine. I gave you a chance. Have it your way."
She turned around and stord out of his office.
"Andy." No matter what he was going to say now, she wasn't in the mood to hear it.
As soon as she got to Fu Chu Hua's table, she flashed her a smile.
"Ms. Kai, how is Mr. Liu? Is he mad at you?"
"No. He needs ti to clear his head and all this. I still have things to do. I would be in my office."
