CHAPTER 358 – eting Ye Cheng
Coming out of the haunted house, Androda had so much laughter to reel out as she recounted so of the spooky and scary things she saw.
However, what made Liu Xueyi remain laughing was the issue of Androda hitting one of the ghosts that jumped from behind her to scare the latter.
Previously she had been scared, hence her reaction when she turned around and punched the man in the face.
That had been the highlight of the haunted house event and then they were done and had to leave.
She showed promising strength because the man was left unconscious right after that pinch.
Liu Xueyi could only think of what might have happened had his girlfriend not listened to him and things ended up in a fight.
"Co on, I will get you what to snack on before we return to the hotel," Liu Xueyi inford her and pulled Androda from the entrance.
No sooner had he moved away than the familiar voice of the ever-troubleso Yin Lifen rang out.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. And who do we have here? Funny how we could et once more, don't you think?" She called out, making sure they heard her.
And oh yes, Androda did.
They made a U-turn and let their eyes rest on their disturbing partner.
Her eyes held sothing strange in them and from one glance Liu Xueyi gave her, he picked that up.
It was a mixture of mischief and glee. He tsked at her and pulled Androda closer to him, making sure Yin Lifen saw and knew who had her backing.
"Oh please, I am not here to fight," she brushed off.
"Aye, so you said before. Besides, no one here would indulge you in that. And I am sure you know why."
"As I said, I am not here to fight."
"Hard to believe when it is coming from you," Liu Xueyi asserted to her dismay. "Also, what do you want with my girlfriend and ?"
"Nothing," Aiden replied and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Hmm. Okay, we can leave then. Nice eting you two once more."
"Pleasure would be mine but you never gave the opportunity to et you in person and discuss."
Hearing the unfamiliar voice, Liu Xueyi and Androda froze, stopping midway in their turn. Both of them stole a glance at the other.
Without being told they could guess who it was that walked out to join them. And even though she had been suspicious of it, Androda found it hard to turn.
"It's okay," he assured her and pressed his fingers at her side lightly before rubbing on her skin through her clothes in a soothing manner.
"Got it."
"I thought I might have the honour of eting the one who was seen as much more beautiful than ."
"Childish," Androda said and shook her head as they faced them. "If you ca just for that."
"Well, we can all agree that sotis, it is good to emit a little bit of child-like character. Also, isn't this a Halloween party?"
"Yes. It is."
"Exactly and we would be donning costus later on. Isn't that childlike in the first place?"
"It is fun and matured as well," Androda refuted.
"It is still mostly for kids."
"No. You get it wrong. It is for anyone. That's what fun is like," Androda corrected. "Anyways," she began, making sure to cut her opponent off before she got the chance to say more.
"Sharp, fast, stating your claims and sticking by them, not backing down and bold. That's daring," she speculated to Androda's surprise.
Ever since she looked back, she ignored the sight of the woman standing close to Yin Lifen and attacked her with words too.
It was only after she said what she did, that Androda took her ti to do the needful.
Letting her eyes drop from her head to toe, Androda took in the peerless beauty whose sweet chocolate gaze softened and a smile touched the corners of her mouth.
Her lovely brown hair trickled down the length of her smooth arm, over her shoulder and her red handless thigh-high gown.
"My na is Li Jing," she introduced, revealing a toothed smile. "It is a pleasure to et you, Androda Kai."
"What can I say? The pleasure isn't mine. You're suspicious. I hate it when people test ," Androda stated clearly.
Listening to Li Jing ntion those things about her, she ca to the quick conclusion of what was happening and truth be told she was very unhappy.
"I am sure she did not an sothing bad by doing so," Liu Xueyi said, hoping to pacify his angry lover.
Just then a figure walked out from the dark corner of the house and stepped out into the light.
He wore a pleased smile as he closed the gap between them and stood beside Li Jing. He went ahead to place a peck on her cheek, silently telling everyone who he was.
Looking up at them, Ye Cheng's eyes glazed over as they settled on Androda and where Xueyi's hand was on her waist.
"You are right. Perhaps her words may have sounded domineering, intimidating and…"
"I am not intimidated. It would take more than that too," Androda said, cutting in.
"I know. I am sure she has seen it too. She never ant it. She wanted to see just how strong of a woman you are. Yin Lifen ntioned to her you weren't a pushover. And I guess she wished to see for herself."
"Duly noted," Liu Xueyi cut in before Androda could respond and then both ladies got into sothing ugly over a misunderstanding.
"Thank you. Pleasure eting you, Mr Liu and Miss. Kai. I hope we can start on a much better foot after this. My apologies."
She shut her eyes and took a deep breath. It was okay now that she had ensured the two ladies knew better than to try and intimidate her.
She only reacted that way because she was reminded of her stepmother and bitchy sister and thus, she needed to curb it as swiftly as snuffing out a fla.
"Nice to et you all too," Androda stated, lowering her head in respect.
