CHAPTER 354 - Halloween Bash 2
For a mont, Androda was stunned that Yin Lifen knew Liu Xueyi.
Even though they owned a famous clothing brand, she still did not expect it.
"Do not be surprised that I know this handso," Yin Lifen mused, taking the words straight from Androda's lips.
"Actually, I recognized him and thought to check when I heard him diss my friend," she added.
"You're still on with that?" Liu Xueyi questioned.
"Yes."
"Let it go, Fen-Fen. He has all the right to say what he wishes. It is a free world."
"Exactly. And I have the right to be angry."
"And so do I," Androda said, taking another step forward.
This was her man she was talking about. And who was Yin Lifen to try to pick a fight with her?
Usually, she was reserved but when it ca to the people she loved, she beca a Raven, vixen, a sharp-clawed lioness, ready to defend herself.
Knowing just how she could be, Liu Xueyi smiled before placing a hand on her shoulder to calm her down.
From his standpoint, he could see Yin Lifen was the one courting trouble and when she saw Androda was not ready to be a pushover, she swallowed and withdrew.
'Always making proud.' Liu Xueyi stated in his mind.
"It is alright, love. I am good. She wouldn't try anything. No need to be protective hmm."
He pressed a kiss to the side of Androda's cheek, making the latter blush from the sudden display of affection.
One look and one would think this couple was a loving duo. Little did anyone know the little problem they had yesterday that almost ruined their Halloween.
"Hmm public display of affection," she tsked.
"Is soone jelly?" Androda blinked back her smile and retracted her steps to hold onto Liu Xueyi.
"No. Now I see why he would say his babe is the most…"
"Let it rest, darling. Stop causing trouble."
She frowned at him and released a sharp breath. "If you had just let finish, you would have seen that I was not looking for trouble but I only wished to complint her."
Both Aiden and Liu Xueyi lifted their brows at her. It was almost hard to believe she was saying the truth.
Her eyes glead with mischief, like one preparing a trojan's gift.
"She is beautiful but not as half as Li Jing."
"I knew it," Aiden said and grunted in frustration. She did not know when to stop, did she?please visit
He held her hand and pulled her into his arms, before Yin Lifen could protest, he silenced her with a kiss.
At the sa ti, Liu Xueyi looked away, allowing his attention to be on his woman. Her beauty was just dissed by one not as fine as her.
Now that was an offence he would make anyone pay.
Tilting her head up so she could look into his eyes, Liu Xueyi searched her eyes and face for a sign of tears or pain and when he did not find it, his smile broadened.
"Now that's my Andy," he praised, lifting her spirit even more.
"Nothing anyone says can change who you are or how beautiful. However, I would make her compensate you and pay for saying that when they are false. No one speaks to my woman that way."
She shut her eyes for a mont, allowing his words to sink in as they had before. "Sure."
She reopened her eyes just in ti to see him bring his lips closer to kiss her. Androda did not reject his kiss or act shy.
Rather she wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him back.
"Now that's my sexy naughty witch."
"Hmm. I can show her just who is boss."
By the ti both parties were done, Androda flashed a sardonic smile at Yin Lifen.
"Be careful if I were you, Yin Lifen. I am not always nice and who knows, you will just be dragging the famous Li Jing's na in the mud when I am done with you. I am beautiful, no doubt. I do not need the likes of you, on subpar, to tell that. Besides, only children bicker over who is finer. Enjoy."
She turned around on her heels like a model ready to take the stage. Locking elbows with Liu Xueyi, Androda gave a wink and they left.
There was no use arguing. The results were already as plain as day.
"Trouble? Tsk, she should try again. It takes a whole lot more to reel out the beast in ," Androda muttered as they went.
Liu Xueyi did not say anything until they got in front of the haunted house and watched as her expression brightened further now that they were back on track with their outing.
It was not yet ti for the costu party so they looked forward to having a thrilling ti in the ghost-looking dreaded house that was prepared for the occasion.
"Ready, love? I know with your character, any ghosts we find in there would be beaten to a pulp," Liu Xueyi comnted.
"Huh, dummy, this is where I act scared and you protect , rember? That's how it works in movies."
"I was going to protect you back there but you fought for yourself and showed her who was boss. You are very strong. You proved your claws were sharp."
Androda did not know whether or not to cry or laugh with the words running out of his mouth.
"You are shaless," she concluded when he went ahead to say he was going to hide behind her.
"Hahhaa, proudly. I need my woman to stand for too. Then, I can give her any reward she wishes for."
His eyes glazed over her face before settling on her lips as he licked his. "So damn sexy."
