CHAPTER 350 - More Troubles
With the news going viral, hardly was there anyone who had not heard of it.
More and more, the Sun family felt threatened by Androda's growth and knew with each passing day how hard it would be to use her to get through to Liu Xueyi.
A supposed lost cause but just like everyone who hoped, the Madam of the Sun family felt she had plans up her sleeve.
Slamming her hand hard against her son's office desk, her glaring eyes peered into his as her chest rose with each passing second.
"You promised to get things done," she accused as a way of reminder.
"I did," Sun Yichen responded with a bored expression on his face.
"So why am I not getting results but instead things are going better for her?"
"I cannot control her growth and progress, mum. There is so much to her life that I will..."

She slamd her hand once more against the table and enforced silence upon him.
"Stop talking like a weakling," Haoyu Su i corrected in an angry tone. "No child of mine is weak."
"Check again. Your last born is the epito and definition of complete weakness."
POW!
His face was forced to the side from the impact of the slap as his mother's rage was kindled.
"None... I repeat none of my children is useless or weak. And says whom you cannot tamper with her personal life. This is how the world works. Those who have money make the call."
"Then why haven't you made a call on your own, mum? Is that not simply an act of weakness?" Sun Yichen asked challengingly.

She glared at him again but seeing as they were not getting anywhere with the discussion, she inhaled and shook her head.
"Since when did you beco this way, Yichen? I do not want to fight you but you must let go of whatever is holding you back and begin work. Ti waits for no one."
"I know. Everything is in process."
Once more she saw that determined look in her son's eyes. Usually, when she did, it ant things would be taken more seriously than before.
Expressing her shock and joy, she blinked a smile at him as her enthusiasm rocked out of her.
"Really?" She asked with her eyes open. "What is?"
"I will let you and dad know about my plan when the ti is right. For now, no one should get in my way."

As quickly as things progressed for Androda, Liu Xueyi could not be left out of it. For him, work beca a lot more hectic having to deal with the entertainnt industry.
More shooting and soon, more and bigger travels and the like.
It was at tis like this, he was most grateful for having a friend such as Tang Yan managing the company for him.
He intertwined his fingers, sending his gaze far towards his office door.
He had made plans for the Halloween event to spend ti with Androda and bond more but for so reason, he could not shake off the feeling of dread that surrounded him since he woke up.
And not having to see her when he woke up from sleep made it even worse.
'Hmm, is the fear of my dream that bad that it is hard to shake this feeling away?' He thought to himself.
"No," he muttered. "Whatever darkness looms, I need to ensure she is okay and get her double the protection I had for her. Sothing just seems off."
While deep in thought, a knock landed on his door, bringing him out of his reverie as he shifted in his seat and gave his permission.
Once the door opened, Xu Fang walked in wearing a stern expression.
"Xueyi," the latter called out as he made his way to his friend's table.
"Yes? Anything the matter?"
"Yes."
"What is?" Liu Xueyi asked, watching Xu Fang take a seat in front of him.
"There's a problem with acquiring what was left of Divine Pearl."
"Why? Who dares interfere?"
"The Mu Group. They plan on getting the company and upgrading it."
"That would not happen on my watch. I plan on making it an affiliate of Liu Company and gift it to Androda to manage."
"You what?" Xu Fang's eyes went wide.
He understood the need to own the company and thought Liu Xueyi did that just to spite Wu Bai but turns out he had bigger plans.
"But…"
"I will make him suffer more than losing so money. I am not done with him. Make sure he goes bankrupt beyond words and let Liu Corporation aid and own them. It would kill him when he sees Androda owns what he most cherished."
"Wow, you really are not letting him off the hook even after the trial," Xu Fang stated and clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
"Well, what can I say? I find your way less torturous but it is ntally killing for soone like Wu Bai whose pride would kill him. Good."
"The trial was just the starting step. I plan on doing way more than that to anyone who sses with my woman."
"You know you could have dealt with him way back," Xu Fang hinted.
After all, Liu Xueyi had all he needed to ensure the complete killing of his rival but he didn't.
"I wanted to play air. Besides, unlike most businessn that take down the opposition, I felt they had talent and I respect him even though I knew his ways were crooked, especially with the best fashion designer awards."
"True that."
"However, when he hurt Androda when I saw her thirst for revenge, I let her do things her way. And I took them down fairly. But now, there are consequences. Consider it a dessert after the main course al."
"Sure. I love desserts. I may sprinkle in a few toppings if you know what I an."
"You are cruel. Now I wonder who you are after for the sake of such toppings."

"Beatrice Zhang." Xu Fang smiled at him. He did guess well all right. "I was going to take care of her as well but I will leave you to your plans."
"Aye. I will ensure what she has made for her family and stashed away using MY sister-in-law is gotten back."
"As I said, your cruelty on its own is another thing. Please feel free. Oh, and while you are on it, please deal with those scum who threw Peng Xiaoli out. People deserve a little kindness and gratitude."
"Aye. Yes," Xu Fang began and shifted out of his seat. "The Halloween reservation is booked."
"Fix it."
"Can't. It is fully booked. However, I found sothing more entertaining. I arranged for the event held in Star city. And I think it has even better hosting than this."
"Is that your excuse for failing at this ga? You cannot get a reservation."
"Not that, Xueyi. Actually, even if they want to make an exception, it will be hard."
"Why?"
"Can't you guess or is your brain dense now that you haven't seen Androda today?"
He shot a stare at him but kept quiet.
"I know because I inquired. You were like this yesterday too when you didn't see her. Stop torturing yourself and visit her in the office or take her on a date, dummy."
"Fine. When I am done I will. Now, what is the problem?"
"I see the problem is indeed big," Xu Fang exhaled. "The Mu Group are hosting indirectly. They are largely supporting the event and have the final say in things. Thanks to this fight for Divine Pearl, they are acting as a stumbling block to everything."
