CHAPTER 336
Having the judge speak to her like that, Androda felt insulted in more ways than one.
Disgraced even but she knew it was her fault.
On the other hand, Liu Xueyi could tell from how she moved her fingers that she was mad beyond words, barely holding it in.
Had he not watched the video with her, he would have wondered if the flash drive got switched at so point or sothing.
But no. He saw her place it in her handbag before they left ho that day.
Without a second thought, he knew outright that sothing else was at play.
Androda, realizing that this situation would not be dealt with kindly if she let her emotions get the better of her, finally held her tongue and sat back on her chair, her heels clicking repeatedly on the tiled floor to ease her frustration.
Seeing as Androda had taken her seat, Attorney Longwei returned her gaze to the judge.
"Your honour, I can openly say that this case isn't over yet as Mr. Liu Xueyi of the Liu company has a role to play in this scandal."
At the ntion of his na, Liu Xueyi's brows pulled together in bafflent, not entirely sure how he was involved in any of this and his gaze shifted to Attorney Longwei.
Androda's brows rose when they chose to add Liu Xueyi to the situation and the attorney's words didn't feel right, leaving a certain dread to creep into her heart as her gaze was equally fixated on the new devil.
"Your honour, I am thankful Ms. Kai brought up this incident as I have the evidence."
She suddenly headed back to her table and brought out a CD that was kept inside one of her files, quickly handing it to them to take a quick look.
"Unlike Ms. Kai, who forgot to ntion the end of that story-her tale, this CD contains footage of Mr Liu Xueyi, harassing an innocent Wu Bai."
Several gasps fell off the lips of the public present as instantly several eyes were shot in his direction.
"If you can play the video, please," Attorney Longwei said, retaining her calm deisposition.
Liu Xueyi was dumbfounded by what he just heard and the sa for everyone.
Lawyer Chang was not spared from such shock as well, as he simply stood in his position, speechless.
Before their very eyes, the judge handed over the laptop to the clerk and then the video was played for them to see.
To Androda's dismay, it was the video of that night, the fashion night when Wu Bai had followed her to an enclosed place.
The very sa night he was pretending to still love her, wanting to claim her after getting jealous of Liu Xueyi and her closeness with his rival.
"As you can see, this happened after their breakup and Wu Bai was just doing what every man would do, get his woman back," Attorney Longwei dutifully explained.
"And from the looks of things, nothing seed forced until…"
The footage moved on to the next scene where Liu Xueyi had shown up out of the blue, punching Wu Bai straight in the face and beating him until he could barely get on his two feet.
Then it showed Androda trying to stop Liu Xueyi from hurting him any further before the clip ended.
A mischievous smile danced at the corner of her lips as her eyes held a glint of humour in them.
More than anything she was glad she heeded Fang i's advised and went to speak with Wu Bai.
Thankfully, that day everything went well after she made him see that they were going to fall apart if they fought against each other.
It was also at that point she got him to think of any case or incident, where Androda may co out to get him.
At first it was faced on Beatrice but seeing as the foolish woman had brought out his leg, she was sure Androda and her team would do sothing to bring Wu Bai down too.
Masking her triumphant smile, Attorney Longwei proceeded to explain.
"He harassed Wu Bai for rely trying to speak with Androda and for that, he has a right to be charged for…"
"Charged for what exactly?" Androda said, challengingly cutting her short.
At this point, she was finding it difficult to contain her bottling rage as they were already on the verge of spilling.
"You were not permitted to speak, quietly take your seat," ca the judge's order but Androda was unwilling to listen.
It felt like her hormones were contradicting the words of the judge and she did not care anymore.
Everything had taken a huge turn for the worse and now it was on an innocent man.
Soone who had been nice enough to save her from the beast himself.
No. It wasn't just because of love but she could not take the injustice and this judge...
Urgh!
"Liu Xueyi has nothing to do with this," she voiced out, "he was only trying to protect from that man and I don't see how his actions could be charged as harassnt."
She managed to get those words out before her brain went dead on her.
"Androda, take your seat." Lawyer Chang tried to handle the situation himself as he signalled with his eyes for Androda to take a deep breath and calm down.
But unfortunately, the look in her eyes didn't seem to be like soone who was here with them, as though she was having so sort of panic strike.
"Androda," Liu Xueyi muttered.
Just as Liu Xueyi had sensed, Androda's eyes were slowly fluttering to a close.
"Take your seat, Androda."
Lawyer Chang softly tried to make her listen, but she shook her head while pointing a finger at Wu Bai.
Her heart sped in her chest, leading her breathing to co short and everything in front of her beca blurry.
"You…" she pointed at Wu Bai.
She felt choked and couldn't breathe properly, nor speak, as though the air inside of her had been rcilessly sucked out.
While she fought for her next words, her eyes dimd before everyone could understand what was happening.
"Y-y..."
Just like the snuffing out of a candle fla, her words remained cut as she passed out on the floor.
