CHAPTER 288
Several eyes pried wide open and looked at her. One thought circled in their mind at that point in ti.
Did she just denounce the offer from the CEO?
"What?" Liu Xueyi asked, shocked, to say the least.
He had proposed a very brilliant idea and there was nothing wrong considering she was his girlfriend. Unfortunately, his 'girlfriend' did not fancy his idea one bit.
"Yes. You heard . I'll pass."
"Why?" Both Liu Xueyi and the receptionist chorused at the sa ti.
From the shocked expressions on the faces of the workers, she could tell that everyone kind of shipped both the CEO and Androda.
And when she denied the offer, their once happy expression turned sour with shock.
Androda did not waste ti in sending a sharp glare at the receptionist, shutting her up completely.
"Sorry," she mouthed to Androda and maintained a safe stand and waited for them to figure out the next step.
"Why not? It is inappropriate for a girl and a guy to sleep in the sa room."
'Syas who?" Liu Xueyi countered.
"Says ethics," Androda retorted. Her lips tightened as her unwavering gaze held his, daring him to say one more word.
Not being one to take no for an answer, especially after getting a chance to be with her and having no external disturbance, Liu Xueyi's eyes lit up.
Wearing his mischievous smile proudly on his face, he turned to face her completely. "If not, where do you plan on staying, my love?"
Androda felt her heart move from having him call her that and outside in front of so many people.
Had it not been a different situation, she was sure his naughty antics would kick in and he would do more than just speak this way.
Regardless, Androda was determined not to let him have his way this ti either.
"I would stay with Peng Xiaoli and Jian Xiaofei."
"You an you would be inconveniencing both ladies, right?" Liu Xueyi twisted her words.
"No. It wouldn't be. I am sure they would not mind."
"Yes, sir," Peng Xiaoli chipped in quickly.
She had no problem with staying three with anybody present in the company not to speak of Androda.
She would be thrilled as it would give the three of them more ti to bond. And knowing Jian Xiaofei, she knew she would have no problems either.
The second the words fell out of her lips Liu Xueyi shot her a warning glare, forcing her to take a step back and stay out of their conversation.
Unfortunately for Androda, not everyone was going to stay out of the conversation or support her.
"Umm, you know, for soone like you, Miss Kai, you would need to have a proper rest, rather than squeezing in with Xiaoli and . I think you should not reject Mr Liu's offer."
The mont the words fell out of her mouth, however, several stares flew in her direction as their lips opened in shock.
For one, they thought Jian Xiaofei would be the one requesting Androda to be with her.
Who would have thought she would throw her away to the boss at the first opportunity she got?
Even with such an approach, anyone who knew her relationship with Androda could see she did that out of care and fear.
One thing was sure, with her closeness with Liu Xueyi she was going to be in soup for not taking his side in their fight.
At this point, as much as she loved Androda, she feared Liu Xueyi more. Besides, she as sure Ye Yuan would have told Liu Xueyi about all she did to him that day.
If that was true, she needed to do him a favour so that when he tried to punish her, she could use her favour to buy her way out of her punishnt.
In the end, she was saving her skin all to save her boss and big sis, Androda, while also creating a good atmosphere for their relationship to blossom.
"You see, even a girl thinks it is okay," Liu Xueyi's voice broke Androda out of her trance.
Shaking her head, Androda turned her head to face Jian Xiaofei. The eyes she gave Jian Xiaofei told the latter the kind of soup and trap she had entered.
"I am sorry, Miss Androda. We want what is best for you," Jian Xiaofei stated with a smile and lowered her head before her. "Please accept Mr. Liu's generous offer."
"Great. Only Jian Xiaofei sees things from my perspective. Anyways, Mrs. Kai. Why do you deny my offer? Are you perhaps scared of anything?"
Androda drew in a deep breath and turned to face Liu Xueyi. Imdiately all of her sullen looks changed.
Once more she faced him with determination in her narrowed eyes as she tilted her head back to peer into his glistening eyes.
"Tell , do I have any reasons why I should be scared? Is there peradventure, a ghost or a beast in your room?"
"Hhahaa, what do you think? No."
"Good. Then I am not scared."
"If you are not, then it is settled. You are staying with through the course of this trip."
"What. I did not agree to that yet."
"Too late, love. We do not have all day. And I need not remind you of the stress it took you in getting here."
'I am not complaining," Androda fud, placing both hands on her waist.
"I do not need my girlfriend to complain before I do my job as a good and caring boyfriend."
Ignoring her following taunting words, Liu Xueyi turned his attention to the receptionist, who till now could not get enough of the lovey-dovey couple before her.
At first, she suspected a form of chemistry between both of them but pushed it aside and thought of it as a bluff and nothing more.
But she was left speechless for a second ti when she heard Liu Xueyi call her his girlfriend with Androda doing nothing to refute his words.
"Right, Miss Duan, she would be lodging with . Thank you."
"Ah, yes," Miss Duan responded, mirroring the charming smile he gave her. "Sure."
