Thankfully the call was put on speaker, saving Liu Xueyi from the terror his mother unleashed.
Both Xu Fang and Liu Xueyi cringed a little at her yell. To worsen matters, she did not give them ti to get out of the shock when her voice rang out once more.
"What the heck is the aning of that, Xueyi?"
"Mum, calm down."
"I cannot be calm!" she hollered at him. "Do you take for a joke or sothing?"
"You know I would never do that, mum. This is serious."

No. However, it is hard to et with the resort's director. He requested a eting on Wednesday."
"Have it pushed," Mrs. Liu finalized.
"Mum, this is also important to the new project dad and I are working on for the company. I need to et with him and from there check on the company's mini vacation for the workers."

Both n released a deep sigh as soon as the call ended. Not waiting a mont, Xu Fang shot him a warning glare.
"Better fix it up. I do not know how you would hide this from Androda. Your family, perhaps but this is your girlfriend and soone you want to spend your life with."
"I know. However, I do not want her to live that celebrity life too much. So many eyes would be on her. Just from the fashion world, she already has enemies. I do not want to add mine to it."
"I do not think she would mind. All you have to do is protect her better. I just hope this secrecy does not build distrust between you two."
"I hope so too. All right, please, I will leave the details of the accommodation and trip for you to handle. It would be slated for Friday till Sunday at noon, please."
"No worries. I can do this. Now focus on how to tell Androda."
He got to his feet, nodded at Liu Xueyi, and then took his leave. He had played his part. Any other action was left for his friend to handle.

Following the plans, she mapped out for herself, Androda hastened on the work she had to do.
By the ti she was done, she decided to check in on Liu Xueyi first before she left her office when her phone buzzed on the table.
She picked up the device and checked her notifications only to notice a ssage coming in from Gu Jun.
Quickly she unlocked her phone to view the ssage that ca and smiled.
"Hey, how are you doing? What do you say we grab lunch after work? I have news for you." Androda read out.
The sound of talking to him about the troubles and problems they faced was always an excellent way for her to unwind.
Thankfully it was not a drinking situation as she would have been forced to decline, completely.
"Hmm, this is sad, I have an outing with Liu Xueyi. It would have been nice if we t up, though."
Seeing as her schedule had been booked, she began to type her reply when his call ca in.
Androda let out a deep sigh and answered his call. "Hello Jun. How are you?"
"I am fine. Afternoon. How is work?"
"Sa old. Nothing much. Yours?"
"As usual. Although, I have good news for you," he voiced happily.
"Hahaha, this is nice. Okay, tell ."
"No. I want to see the look on your face when I break the news to you," Gu Jun inford.
"I can't. Not today or tomorrow even. I have an outing with Xueyi."
"Ohh… I see. So, your boss is taking more precedence in your life than I am."

"I just… fine. I know I haven't called you to inform you and I guess now is the best ti to do that."
Gu Jun's eyes narrowed while trying so hard to figure out where she was getting at. "What have you been hiding from , Androda?"
"Promise not to be mad at first."

"Fine. I… well Xueyi and I are dating."
"Huh, I thought everyone already knew that," Gu Jun let out with a small laugh.
Her mouth curved upwards in a smile as she raked her fingers through her hair and leaned back against the chair she sat on. "No. What I an is, officially."
