CHAPTER 228
For a few seconds, Liu Xueyi did not speak. Xu Fang was right and he knew it. However, he had forgiven him.
"Tsk, do not make feel bad for you," Liu Xueyi said as he clicked the tip of his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
"Nah, don't. I do not deserve it."
"You do and don't idiot. Sigh."
To say he was not tired and ntally drained from having to discuss this with him, would be lying. "Fine."
"Huh?" Xu Fang's brows drew in close as he tried to understand what Liu Xueyi ant by that word. "Hey."
"Do not worry. How are you anyways?"
"I am okay."
"What's been going on with you? I did send you soone to give you a treat. Did you et her?"
The way his voice dropped low while enacting a dreadful feeling made Androda, who was watching from the sides, tremble.
At the sa ti, she was sure if Xu Fang really got his ssage, he would feel the dread that ca with it.
"Hehhee, Xueyi, even from the phone you do not fail in giving soone that chilly feeling. I can only imagine the look in your eyes now. However, I am least scared."
"Why?"
"Because I am not there with you. Although I pity anyone by your side now."
"Naughty. Answer , did you et her?"
'I did. However, she left and did not actualize your goal." Xu Fang's lips turned upwards a little while unleashing his wild smile.
"I see. And why is that?"
"Because, thanks to you, I found a special treasure."
Both Androda and Liu Xueyi's brows drew together instantly at his words.
Treasure? An actual gem or a person?
"Treasure?"
"Yes. So, it's not all bad and besides, staying here, in this remote village, I know I have sothing to do."
"Like?"
"They lack the basic anities. I wish to build them a hospital."
"Xu Fang…"
"Do not stop ," Xu Fang interjected quickly. "It would be needed here. It would be a good way to help those less privileged ones and the rate at which people suffer health-wise can be reduced."
By the ti he finished speaking, Liu Xueyi had heaved a deep sigh before responding.
To tell the truth, he could tell his friend had changed to so extent and although he did not know why or who changed him, he was looking forward to this treasure.
"Fine. I would give all the assistance that you need."
"Really? I thought you would call foolish," Xu Fang stated, blinking back confusingly.
"Nah. It isn't. You should know by now. Alright umm, I had sothing to tell you."
The second he began; Androda released a soft breath from her lips as she rose from the bed and walked away.
He did not need her to tell him, but he could easily figure out what she was doing. She practically gave him so space as she respected his privacy.
"Greet him for later when you are done," Androda whispered as she turned the doorknob with her right hand, winked at him and walked away.
"Go on. I am all ears."
"I have told her."
"Huh?"
"Dimwit, I have told Androda everything about that night."
GULP!
Xu Fang swallowed hard from the big reveal. "Everything?"
"Yeah. Everything."
"Yikes. She must be getting mad at I guess," Xu Fang finalized. At this point, he did not wish to even know the outco of what Liu Xueyi was going to say.
All he knew was that he ssed up and having Androda hate him would be too much.
Sensing his discomfort, Liu Xueyi knew it was high ti he pacified him else, he would only get an ear full of complaints and worry.
"Can you just calm your horses for a while?" His deep voice resounded from the end of the phone.
"Huh?"
"Yes. Calm down already. I am tired. Androda is not and at you."
"Are you sure?"
"Wouldn't I know if my girlfriend is or not? You have ruined my mood to talk much tsk. Anyways, I will be needing you in the company. So, return this week."
"Huh, what?"
"Yes. After all, you never wanted to go on this trip."
"I didn't but, I have co to love it. Xueyi do not make return so soon."
"I am sorry. Honestly, I would really like to give it to you but it's been hard. I am covering your work, mine and you know who. Things are tough on ."
"I see." He breathed out sharply as he quickly understood the situation. "This is tough but, can I arrive on Thursday?"
"The week would almost be gone by then, Xu Fang."
"I know. I know. It's just… I have only t her and we are clicking so much and now that I feel sothing blooming, you want my return. Now this feels like the real punishnt."
"Sigh! Fine. Or you can co with her," Liu Xueyi suggested.
"Umm," Xu Fang peeled his gaze to the side slowly, taking in the presence of the one he spoke about.
He may not have known her so much, but he knew it would be impossible for her to choose to leave with him now. Their love simply hadn't blood.
"That would be an almost impossible case."
"It isn't," Liu Xueyi confronted quickly.
If he wanted to have his way, it was all a situation of having so n check out the stated girl.
Worse if she refuses to cooperate, he would get her out himself. However, doing that went against everything he held.
He respected a lady, both old young and old. Consent was always a key ingredient for him.
"Fine. Arrive on Wednesday. I would also get involved in bringing Divine Pearl's CEO down. Also, you can let her know her visa and all would be ready for a flight anyti she wants to visit."
"Welp, having a Visa and all isn't her problem, because she isn't from here."
"Oh," Liu Xueyi's brows creased once more as he tried to fathom who exactly this little treasure was that caught his close friend's heart.
"Where is she from then and how did you two et?"
