CHAPTER 198
After so ti, Androda found it in her to ask, "Why say this only now?"
Blinking back a tear, Liu Xueyi moved closer to her again. "I got scared."
The look in her eyes told him he would need to do more than just say those words.
There were countless opportunities. He could have said that without having to hide and wait this long.
"Yes, it wasn't my fault but it was no excuse. Recall that day when I asked you what really happened? I found out before I saw the video of the two of us but on the sa day. I guess Wu Bai releasing that helped ."
"Answer the question. Why? I clearly told you that day that I did not mind so long as it was not a plotted case."
"But you would still hurt because he took your virginity. A stranger." He lowered his head right after. His heart could barely take it anymore.
She was hurt, no matter how much she tried to cover it with her revenge. It was so painful for her.
'I love you, Andy. And I am still scared you would hate after this.' Not only could he voice those words out in his head instead, he couldn't co close to kissing her.
He was scared that the confession had ruined everything for him. He saw her pain. But now he could not tell if she was sad and angry, he kept the truth from her or if she was angry.
Androda took in a few deep breaths while she found sothing else to settle her gaze on, rather than him.
Her lips parted to speak but no words ca out and instead she shook her head.
The more Liu Xueyi stared into her eyes, the more he felt his heart clench at the possible pain she must be going through while trying so hard I denial.
"I am so sorry for hurting you, Androda," he apologized weakly. "I am sorry."
Bringing her eyes back to him, Androda drew her brows together, forming a crease on her forehead as she held up a finger before taking her knuckles to her lips.
Sensing the difficulty in her silence, Liu Xueyi knew she was holding back a bit from speaking but he would rather she scolded him, hit him, hated him or anything.
So long as she did not give him the silent treatnt. Cause if it ca to that, he was not sure he would be able to handle it.
"Ask any question. I would answer."
"You will?"
"Yes," he assured her.

"Okay, go on. I would clarify for you."
"Okay two thoughts. But let ask the most important first."
Saying this, Liu Xueyi gulped visibly as he straightened his back and brought both hands in front of him while his fingers rubbed against each other nervously.
"What happened exactly after you tore…" Androda noticed the way he blinked hard when she ntioned that word tore.
It was like he kept recalling that particular incident of him breaking her hyn. Surprisingly, that gave her an idea.
Narrowing her eyes at him, she took a step, letting her curious mind take over, she asked, "What happened after you broke my hyn?"
His eyes dropped to a close slowly at the sa ti his chest rose and fell in unison.
For Androda, watching the nerve wracking, domineering CEO act this way, explained to her so of the missing details in her mind.
Whether he carried on in making love to her or not, it was an obvious detail this was a sacred topic for him and when he said the words that left her shocked, Androda could not bla him, much.
"Any question but that." Slowly, he pried his eyes open again.
No longer was the sadness that she once saw there. It was imdiately replaced by deep pain, one resonating in his heart.
'Wait, was I that bad in bed that it hurts him and he doesn't want to talk about it?' Androda was forced to question herself.
Although there were many aning to that look, she decided on this one because she could not believe she would be terrible in bed, even though she had not had sex before.
'Oh my! If I am that bad… What would happen to my future?'
As if on cue, she whipped her eyes at him once more, instantly the look of pain in his eyes was completely gone and her brows furrowed at him.
'Was it just my imagination or what? Why have they reverted back to a certain sadness? Gosh you cannot read this man.' Androda complained in her mind.
More than anything she had always wished to know since the pain she felt from having her hyn broken simply did not let her brain think past that point.
Letting out a deep sigh, Liu Xueyi's voice broke her out from her trance. "Any question. Just not that," he reminded her.
"Why?"
"Because…" He furrowed his brows at her, tilting his head to the side a bit. "Wait. Who asks that out of everything I just said? That is the only thing your brain could cook up?"
Pressing her lips together, Androda imdiately lowered her head. She knew asking that was absurd to so extent, especially in this situation but her mind wanted to know so much.
Shouldn't that be reason enough?
"Ask your second question," Liu Xueyi encouraged her.
"Okay," she lifted her head up again but no longer did she et his intense stare. She was much too embarrassed for that.
"Umm, why did you co to my room that night if you did not work with Wu Bai?"
"What?!"
Her gaze diverted back to his quickly. She knew she had to pacify things, else he got angry and got the wrong idea.
"I an, I know you are not in cahoots with Wu Bai but why, what happened to you too?"
"Why do you think Xu Fang is being punished in the first place?"
