CHAPTER 143
When they left Liu Xueyi alone, he quickly took this private ti to himself and ensured he hid the bulge in his pants while he was thinking up ways to make this up to Androda and actually get to speak about why he called her.
To say he was not mad at himself for being weak enough to let Gao Yuemi have her way on him and make him ruin his chance to make Androda see things in a new light.
It took him so ti to calm down and when he did, he felt better and decided to seek Androda out.
He tried several tis to reach her through her cell phone but all he got was the sa outco. She never answered any of his calls.
After trying for so ti, he went over to her office, hoping to et her up only to find out she had left before his arrival.
Left with no other choice, he decided to let her calm down first before calling her again later in the day.
Without being told, he knew if he did not clarify things with her now, it would be harder later.
Worst he was very much tempted to visit her but right now, he felt she needed a bit of the space with everything that had happened between them which was why he resulted in calls.
In the end, later that evening his calls beca more persistent, that Androda was focused to pick them up.
She was angrier when she arrived ho, especially when her mind kept reeling her into their sweet monts together.
It made her feel even bitter. But when she saw he was bent on making her phone go low, she decided to pick it up and hear him out.
After all, who knows, she may be overthinking.
"Hello?" Androda's bored voice questioned.
"Androda, first of all, I would like to apologize," he began.
"For what exactly?"
"For everything."
"I do not know what you an," she countered in haste.
She wished to hear him explain but her girlish side caught up with her and now she could not help but shake her head at her actions.
"I am sorry Andy for letting you witness such a scene in my office and for letting her latch herself unto ."
"Why are you apologizing for that?"
"Because..." he could not even push with his argunt because they were not officially dating and that hurt him internally but then an idea ca up and he tried to use it.
"Because I do not want you to misunderstand, Andy. I am sorry. I wasn't doing anything with her, I promise."
"There is no need for that. You can apologize to your girlfriend for that I barged in. I bet she was stunned." The malice laced in her tone did not go unnoticed by Liu Xueyi who could tell she was obviously jealous to so extent or just sad.
"She is not my girlfriend, Androda and before you state that my taste is lousy, I do not have a girlfriend."
"Then what am I then hahaa?" she teased, knowing she had him tongue-tied.
"You did not let finish. I ant I do not have any other girlfriend apart from you."
Her lisp pulled back into a sad smile as she titled her head back, placing a hand on her hips.
"You know you and I are just rely acting. No need to be so serious."
"No, I an it, Andy. I have no other girl but you. And she, she is a childhood friend who just returned and wants to catch up."
"Yeah, she sure was catching up hugging you and squishing her boobs on your chest like that."
"Androda do not be like this," he countered pleadingly.
"Like how? I thought I was being normal."
"No. You are acting like you are jealous." She burst into a round of disbelieving laughter instantly. "Andy, I know what I am saying."
"Please. Stop it, Liu Xueyi."
"Then why did you walk off and refuse to pick up any of my calls nor return the missed calls?"
"I am busy. I want my brain to think straight and not be disturbed by your words."
"So, I am charming enough to distract you? I think that is a good start, love."
"Xueyi. This is not a ga. Let it go."
"I know and I am not kidding Androda."
"I am not too."
"Then why did you leave?"
"You had an…" she swallowed her next words, letting out a deep sigh as she tried to crack her brain on how best to avoid all of this. "You were in an embarrassing situation, Liu Xueyi. The best I could do was what I did."
"I see. Thanks anyways. Although I do not mind if you look at in that state."
Just hearing him beco shaless again, Androda literally face-pald herself. She could not believe he would use every opportunity he had to prove to her his shalessness rather than to stick to his apology.
"For reals, Androda, believe , please. I am so sorry for not being careful. Forgive ."
"I know. I understand. I noticed the situation when I walked in. It was she who was latching unto you but seeing as your lower body reacted, then I supposed you were loving it?"
"Only when you do, when we kiss."
"Shaless."
"Hahaha…" Liu Xueyi threw his head back in endless laughter, sparing her no form of courtesy as he freely let himself out. "Andy. Fine, let make it up to you, okay?"
"How so?"
"How about a weekend in my place?"
Her eyes flew open in alarm at what he told her. "What?!" Androda half yelled into the phone, raining down her shock on his ears.
Sensing the danger in his words, he quickly explained to set things right. "No. I an..." he released a deep breath before explaining his words. "I ant, co over let treat you to a nice lunch and dinner on Saturday."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I would cook for you to make it up to you."
"Hmm..." she paused for a while, taking her ti to carefully think about what he said.
"Seriously. I do not cook for anyone Androda. Noen but myself. You were the first person I cooked for before. And if you knew how important it is to my mother to be the one to taste my al, you won't be refusing now."
"I see. So should feel grateful for that, huh? I'll pass. For all I know, you may beco naughty again."
Although she said those words sharply to hurt him or chase him away, her eyes held a certain warmth, accompanied by the warm smile on her lips, proving how much her anger had faded away.
"Of course, doing things with my girlfriend is allowed and I would have loved to take you out to dinner and lunch, but I cannot say what fans would do. Your peace may be disturbed," he explained tactically.
"I see. How considerate. Alright, I accept your apology. You have to make sure to treat well, okay?"
"You bet I would. This ti, I won't withhold the food from you."
They both shared calm laughter, recalling how he had starved her that morning in his house.
"Thanks, Xueyi."
"For?"
"Bye."
She did not give him an answer and ended the call instantly.
At least one thing was certain, she was glad that she had overthought the issue and things weren't as they seed.
Most importantly, Androda felt glad she was getting a treat from him and getting the sole honour of him cooking her a al.
And sothing about those thoughts made her smile really brightly, feeling giddy all over.
