CHAPTER 139

Gao Yeemi was so shocked to see she had been left alone in the living room and hurried back on her feet, dusting her butt in response.

Her eyes dimd in anger, crossing her arms in front of her chest and waiting for him when she heard the sound of plates clicking against each other and the clatetring of cutlery set.

Quietly, Gao Yuemi waited for his return and when Liu Xueyi did, she folded her arms underneath her bosom, waiting for his apology but to her surprise, he did nothing of the sort as he settled the plate on the dining table and walked back to the living room.

"Liu Xueyi!"

"Quiet it down," he hushed her.

"Hey, I fell you know. I am your guest, why treat like one of those latching on ladies, huh?"

He let it a sigh, rolling his eyes at her poor performance before facing her completely.

"I asked you a question and you answered late, however, thanks for delivering the al, but this is my turf. I usually do not appreciate unwanted visitors."

Her jaw dropped in utter shock by his words.

She knew he had a ruthless personality but hoped he had changed and would be happy to see her.

Little did she know that would not be the case this ti around.

"I am sorry, Gao Yuemi if my words co out unfiltered but I appreciate the kind gestures. Maybe we can catch up so other ti. I have things to do. I am busy, you know."

"Xueyi..."

"Please." This ti around, his interruption was precise and cold. "And next ti, do not co running to my house without permission again."

She felt so much anger swell up inside her but managed to keep everything under control and smile at him.

"I would tell aunty you sent your thanks," she smiled sweetly again. "See you."

With her charisma still intact, Gao Yuemi turned around, picked up her phone and majestically cat-walked out of his house, giving a good show of her endowed assets.

'If I do not get you today, Xue-bear, I would get you another day. I won't let any other person co steal your heart from . I failed once and lost you. I won't fail anymore. I promise you.'

For the next two days, Liu Xueyi and Androda did not et with each other.

Before he arrived at her house, she had already left very early for work and when he called, all she responded with was a text ssage, ignoring him completely.

At this point, Liu Xueyi was at a loss on what to do. And so that day at noon, he decided if she was going to avoid him, she most definitely would not avoid a call from her superior.

With that, he made his plan knowing full well that Androda would not take any of his calls.

Once he had made all arrangents, Liu Xueyi settled in his seat, allowing thoughts of the few tis they had been together to wad through his brain.

Ring! Ring!

The sound of the telephone jolted Androda out of her thoughts, bringing her attention to the telephone on her desk.

She reached for the telephone, taking it up and bringing it to her ears.

Ever since she discarded thoughts of Liu Xueyi from her mind, she did her best to focus more on the production of clothes and designing.

Also, her outlook was thanks to the fact that she could race that day, even though she had not co in first, Androda was happy still.

"Hello, good afternoon," Androda greeted, waiting for the caller to respond.

"Good afternoon Miss Kia." Her brows raised up in shock when she realized who the caller was.

She did not need a second telling what those words would resonate from the ssenger.

She definitely had a ssage to pass from Liu Xueyi. Androda gritted her teeth, wishing it was her normal phone she had called so she could end the call, blaming it on network services.

This ti around, it was going to be had to do so.

"Ahem!" She sniffed and spoke again. "Yes, Fu Chu Hua, how may I help you?"

"Mr Liu requests your presence in his office at exactly 1 pm."

"Huh, but why does he…"

"He says you should not be late," Fu Chu Hua imdiately cut in before Androda got the chance to argue.

Just thinking about how Liu Xueyi hollered his response at her when she jokingly asked why he didn't call her himself since it was urgent, Fu Chu Hua did not want to get on her boss' bad side anymore and relayed the ssage swiftly.

"But.."

"ssage delivered, Miss Kai. Please try to be here on ti. Thank you."

She dropped the telephone back and heaved out a deep breath.

She did not appreciate that her boss was making her suffer for all this.

She did not appreciate that his P. A would go missing when she needed saving, leaving her in the hands of her monster boss when he was angry.

She was no fool to not notice when Androda stepped out two days ago that sothing was wrong between them.

And since then, Liu Xueyi had been acting grumpy about his work. Hopefully, she felt Androda would be able to fix what she had begun in the first place with her presence.

That and adding to the fact that he admitted they were seeing each other, she knew they probably had a lover's fight.

But then again, who knows, her boss had stayed off won for the past few years now.

On the other hand, Androda was still fuming thinking of how he had probably ntally tortured his assistant and had her relay his ssage when she refused to get his calls.

Checking her wall clock, she noticed she still had about thirty minutes before it was 1 pm and she could ntally prepare herself for what he was going to do before she got there.

'Sigh! Liu Xueyi, since when did you beco devilish?' Androda asked in her mind before getting back to work.

She needed to review so designs her team sent to her, show them so corrections, help them flesh them out more, bringing the work to a standard, before sending them back to them.

Aside from that, there were many other things which needed her output and playing away with Liu Xueyi wasn't part of her schedule.

Howbeit, when the thought that perhaps this was a eting of so sort, which was why he gave her the needed ti, Androda found her brain buzzing with thoughts.
