CHAPTER 129
"Xueyi! Stop!" Androda called out, ignoring whatever noise she was making as she dashed toward the elevator.
All her heart and mind could not think of was another ans to stop this young man from feeling bad.
"Please!" She yelled out again and this ti he lifted his eyes to see her face before the elevator closed.
Androda's heart sank when she saw the door close in on her before he could stop it or see her.
All her brain could think of was taking the flight of stairs down to block him but if she wasn't fast enough, she knew he would go.
Who knows how angry he already was with her?
To make matters worse, she left her phone inside while she ran here to stop him and all for what?
'Damn it, Androda Kai! How could you!'
Her fingers reached for the button on the elevator but before she got the chance to assault its buttons, the door pulled open slowly, revealing Liu Xueyi to her frustrated eyes.
She could see the look of shock plastered on his face as he placed a leg out of the elevator before it closed its doors to her again.
To his surprise, her brain worked quickly as her body moved and before he knew it she was inside the elevator with him.
No one spoke until the door closed, locking them in and leaving them to their mischief or cries.
Her eyes remained plastered on his face, as she searched for any hope of getting on his good side once more.
In the heat of the mont, she had forgotten her hands remained placed on his chest and shoulder as she pushed him in but when she felt his irregular heartbeat, Androda quickly withdrew them and clutched her hands to her chest.
To Liu Xueyi's surprise, she took a step back, wanting to free herself of him now that her senses had sowhat returned to her, noticing the awkward state they were in.
"Not again. You cannot escape ," his deep baritone voice whispered in a sowhat sneaky but sexy way and he wrapped a hand on her waist, pulling her body closer to his.
She felt a lump in her throat and swallowed whilst her eyes remained plastered on his face.
"Xueyi."
His eyes washed over her face, as he studied her expression, taking in all of the wrong things about her.
Cold sweat broke out at either side of her forehead, her bottom lips were swollen from her obvious biting and her face was red a tad bit from her running.
What had she gotten herself into or was it the fact that she really was not feeling fine? He could not put his mind to it but could only ask.
"What got you so frantic, Andy?"
"I–I…" the words got stuck in her mouth as she battered her eyelids, watching his gaze take all of her in and slowly drop back down to her lower lip.
"I… Xu-Xueyi, I'm sorry. I never ant…."
That was all he needed to hear.
That she did not an any of this and she never wanted to drive him away.
Those were the only words he needed to seal his conviction that his fears earlier were just normal fears and she did not hate him.
He did not let her finish her words though as he leaned in closer and captured her shaky lips with his.
Her breathing stilled when their lips joined.
Although she had expected this from him with the way his eyes kept lingering on her lips, she was still captivated when his lips touched hers.
He never stopped taking her breath away and literally, he did as she forgot to breathe for the few seconds in which that kiss lasted.
Sensing her stillness, Liu Xueyi broke the kiss, bringing his gaze back to hers as he searched them for what was wrong.
"Andy?"
She blinked at him thrice, her senses finally catching up with her.
"I'm sorry. I never ant any of that. I want you to stay, please," her soothing voice pleaded, creating soft lodies in his mind and ears.
"Silly girl." He claid her lips once more, closing his eyes as she did too, accepting his kiss without any complaint.
At the sa ti, the elevator signalled them of their stop on the first floor but they were too busy reeling in the kiss of the mont to bother with anything when the doors pulled open slowly.
What neither of them had expected was the set of people that would be standing out there waiting by the elevator while the others, stood at the entrance of the building.
Feeling the eyes on them, they broke the kiss and turned their head to look while Liu Xueyi's fingers already reached out towards the button, wanting to take them back to her floor when they noticed the two ladies standing before them and heard the most absurd words at that ti.
"It's… It's..." Several eyes blinked like flashes of light as they stared at the couple but the words could not be ford, until...
"Quick, it is Liu Xueyi and Androda Kai. His words were true. They are a couple."
Before any of them did anything, still taking in the shock of what was happening, several lights flashed in their direction from the caras of the reporters.
"The tip was good. She is staying here and they are having another mont," one of the reporters yelled out as they all rushed for the elevator.
Imdiately his fingers tapped on any button as the elevator began to close up.
Sensing this was the perfect ti to show the world he ant all he said, Liu Xueyi wasted no ti and turned Androda's head toward him, planting another kiss on her lips once more, giving everyone a show of their supposed love before the doors fully closed.
"Aish!"
"We were so close."
"Gosh!"
"the tip was good. If only we had more ti to have that recorded."
"Do you need so much to broadcast so hot news?"
"Am I the only one loving and feeling their romance?" A female paparazzi half squealed from the thought, feeling a certain blush creep up her cheeks.
So of them nodded their heads at her words while so had smiles of victory on their faces as they checked their cara, loving the shot they got.
On the other hand, Androda's heart kept beating wildly in her chest and blocking out every other thing her mind could think of.
His lips remained on hers and Liu Xueyi being the expert kisser, took hold of her shock to slide his tongue in.
Not that she bothered with what he did, considering her brain was running a mile in a second in her head.
She could feel his need arise from their closeness as his warmth increased and his body beca slightly hot.
Regardless, she stood like a mannequin, letting his tongue wade over in her mouth, tempting and taunting hers to return the kiss.
DING!
When they heard that, Liu Xueyi peeled his gaze from her and landed his gaze on the floor number. "Wrong floor," he muttered on her lips and pressed the right floor this ti.
However, he did not pull away and enjoyed the mont till they arrived at hers.
Heaven knew she tasted so sweet and he could not get enough of her.
To heighten his need, the fact that the reporters caught them, made him more than happy and wished he could do more, to silence all those wicked enemies of hers.
By the ti she heard the second sound, notifying Androda of their arrival, she took this opportunity to pull away and dashed out before he got another idea.
More than anything though, which was why she pushed him into the elevator the first ti, she wanted to avert her dream by all ans.
So, without granting the opportunity, she took to her heels.
A soft chuckle fell off his lips seeing her run like a little girl for an act they had done more than once for a no couple.
"Silly Andy."
He stepped out as well and as he did, he reached into his pocket, pulled out his phone and made a call.
"Sir."
"Yes. Explain to how those reporters got in?" His deep baritone voice resonated in a powerful manner.
"My apologies sir but we…"
"Save the apologies and correct this. Evacuate them from this building ASAP! Or else…"
"Sir the house."
"Block 20A."
"Right away sir."
