Chapter 221: Tinia’s Gale Spell??

Northwind Fortress, Council Hall.

“Your Majesty, this is the situation.”

“Forgive my incompetence.”

“Lord Langpu also said he lacks the authority or power to control Lady Tinia and could only keep her here, waiting for your return to decide her fate.”

Tiefling Captain Damacus stood before the red dragon, his head bowed, reporting respectfully.

Cassius looked at the white dragon rummaging through the hall, causing a chaotic ss, and his face darkened slightly. He began to suspect whether Tinia’s ancient bloodline sohow ca from a creature resembling a husky.

He had only left for two days to experint with new spells, yet no one in Northwind Fortress seed able to restrain Tinia. The hobgoblins and tiefling guards were of no consequence to her, and even Langpu had struggled, resorting to conjuring a force wall to confine this troubleso dragon in the hall.

In Tinia’s eyes, these little beings were just tasty “at,” and only other dragons were worthy of recognition as equals.

Luckily, there was the 【Dictator’s Law】 to bind her; otherwise, her curiosity might have led her to snack on a few humans.

“Tinia, stop this at once.”

Hearing the familiar voice and the hint of irritation in Cassius’s tone, the white dragon imdiately quieted down. She obediently sat down, a stark contrast to her previous rampaging deanor.

“Is this how you behave when I’m away?”

“Where is your draconic dignity?”

“Master...”

Tinia tucked in her wings timidly, lowering her head with a whimper, as if pleading for rcy.

Cassius glanced around, looking at the scattered scrolls and broken bookshelves, his anger surging. He pinned the white dragon to the ground, administering a fierce beating.

“This is for disobeying the rules! For wrecking my ho!”

Though Tinia had a hint of the ancient dragon lineage and was technically older, the gap between a red dragon and a white dragon was enormous. Moreover, Cassius was a variant dragon whose bloodline had been enhanced several tis, making him far larger than a typical red dragon of his age.

For Tinia, his strength was overwhelming.

His massive size and robust limbs, typical of red dragons, almost doubled the slender fra of the white dragon.

“Smack! Smack! Smack!”

Cassius pressed her neck to the ground with his left claw while smacking her repeatedly with his right, producing a series of crisp cracks.

“Roar!”

Tinia lay prone, unable to move, howling in pain. Her tail curled high, but she neither dared to resist nor could she resist.

The white dragon, imprisoned in the spire for a century, had not much fighting skill but excelled in enduring pain. After howling for a bit, Tinia found the pain wasn’t so bad and even started to get used to it.

Her simple, single-track mind began to wander, pondering things unrelated to the beating.

“So big, so strong.”

“Being beaten by such a powerful dragon... it feels almost right.”

Tinia turned her head slightly, gazing at the muscular arm pinning her down. She then closed her eyes, thoughts swirling quietly.

“Looks like she still needed a beating, after all. White dragons are stubborn beasts—they only respect force, just like wild dogs,” Cassius mused, convinced this discipline was necessary.

But as he continued to “discipline” her, Cassius noticed sothing off about the female dragon’s expression.

Contrary to his expectations, her face—acceptable by dragon standards—did not display pain or regret.

Instead, there was... a hint of enjoynt?

Cassius: “...”

Had this white dragon awakened to so strange trait?

The red dragon loosened his grip and stepped back, staring at this peculiar white dragon with a mix of disbelief and shock.

Tinia still seed lost in the mory of her recent thrashing, her body pressed flat against the ground, her tail lifted, letting out a series of low murmurs, not sensing the expected pain.

She opened her eyes in confusion, locking eyes with Cassius.

“...”

The white dragon’s face was swollen, broken teeth and scales scattered on the ground. Cassius had not held back, using about sixty to seventy percent of his strength.

“Rawr~”

Yet she still wagged her tail flatteringly, her gaze full of what seed like... eager anticipation.

The force of Cassius’s frustrated “lesson” even made the ground tremble slightly, leading the residents of Northwind Fortress to think an earthquake was occurring, causing chaos throughout the city. It wasn’t until the tiefling city guard arrived that the people were barely cald down.

“Whimper...”

Tinia lowered her head, nudging him gently with her body, as if actively apologizing.

Cassius sighed, his face dark, barely maintaining his commanding tone:

“Clean this place up.”

“And don’t let

catch you breaking anything again. Understand?”

Faced with this seemingly masochistic white dragon, Cassius felt at a loss for how to discipline her effectively.

Was she loyal as a subordinate?

Absolutely—dragon pacts through the Weave didn’t lie. But she was undeniably a troubleso handful.

According to his dragon heritage, Cassius knew white dragons scorned interactions with others, save for mbers of the opposite sex. They sought physical pleasures, often mating purely for the fun of it. And this white dragon—seed to have found so unconventional joy.

Carefully, she opened her jaws slightly, exhaling a soft breeze that blew away the debris scattered across the ground.

“Roar!”

She raised her head proudly, giving a triumphant cry as if seeking praise.

Cassius felt the slight ripple of the Weave in his domain, and he was montarily taken aback.

“Is that... Gale Spell?”

“This clever white dragon can actually cast a spell?”

Generally, white dragons only beca as intelligent as humans as they aged, and typically only reached the lowest caster levels once they reached adulthood. Before that, they could maybe muster a Fog Spell, but this white dragon could already cast Gale—a “high-level” second-tier spell.

Cassius opened the subordinate panel to examine further.

【Extrely Thin Ancient Bloodline White Dragon - Tinia】

[Challenge Rating: 10]

[Innate Draconic Spellcasting Level: 5]

This ant she could even learn third-tier spells.

Such a level of innate casting ability was sothing ordinary white dragons only achieved in old age, yet Tinia had reached it in her youth, a testant to her extraordinary talent.

Yet even such “white beasts,” dragons considered a disgrace, were capable of spellcasting. It was no wonder wizards called sorcerers “barbarians wielding wands.”

Draconic innate spellcasting equated to sorcerer levels; casting spells depended entirely on the force of “I reckon”—their overwhelming confidence bending the Weave.

“As expected of an ancient dragon’s bloodline.

“Even a so-called ‘extrely thin’ heritage can bring about qualitative improvent.”

With that thought, Cassius casually summoned a magical mirror to contact Langpu, who was currently studying in the mage’s tower.
