The Phantom then extracted his phone and called soone as Aselia watched him with contempt.

"Bring the serum," he ordered before ending the line. He kept checking his phone, while Aselia worried about Yurian. Worriso thoughts clouded her mind and her head filled with horrible images.

"Is my brother even alive?" she asked again, not able to hold herself back. He was tapping one shoe on the floor which abruptly stopped at her question.

"Do I look like soone who cares? Besides he was a golden hound, you are an elf. How is he your brother?" Phantom’s eyes darted to her as she sat there with a determined face, still, no fear flashed in her eyes. It baffled him.

"Not all relationships are blood bound. Not that you can understand, who can’t even respect blood ones," she answered smugly and his hand itched and lifted. He slapped her so hard that her head whipped in the opposite direction making her topple over.

Her golden locks spread all over the floor, his hand snaked into her hair and he pulled her up, bringing her closer to his face. A red rash had appeared on her skin like a gigantic blotch and her mouth was bleeding as she spit out the blood on his face, not caring for the consequences in the least.

A delirious smile adorned his face as if he had enjoyed her feisty behaviour. With his free hand, he dug out a white handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his face clean before jerking her face even closer to him.

"I am going to have so much fun breaking you down, little elf. You seem to have no clue as to what I can do or you wouldn’t be so bold with ," the aversion she felt for him was evident on her face as his tongue darted out and he licked the blood that flowed down her chin.

Waves of revulsion jolted her body and she writhed to get herself free from his vice-like grip.

"You can dream on but soone like you can never break down," she yelled as a knock ca on the door. He pushed her back, banging her head on the back wall and swiping his tongue on his lips, savouring the taste of her blood while trying to mock Aselia.

Her head throbbed and the ropes dug into her wrists but that contemptuous scowl never left her face.

"Co in," Phantom ordered, dabbing the sides of his lips with his handkerchief as if he had a scrumptious al.

A middle-aged man in a white lab coat entered holding a box followed by two n with a stretcher which had leather straps attached to it. Seeing them Phantom got up and they wheeled in the stretcher and adjusted it in a corner.

"You got the serum," Phantom addressed the man holding the white dical box.

"Yes! Sir," he patted the box and his eyes drifted to Aselia in the corner.

"Good, bind her on the stretcher and gag her," Phantom casually instructed, stepping back and giving them the room.

The two n approached her and she calmly waited. Once they were in her proximity, she headbutted the one nearest to her and broke his nose. He clutched his nose as a fountain of blood erupted and staggered back, cursing under his breath.

The other one stumbled forward, trying to grab her when Aselia focused her weight on her hands and lifted her legs to kick the other one straight in the chest, banging him into the opposite wall.

Phantom watched her with amusent, he had never co across such an elf who would fight. The doctor on the other hand was stunned beyond reason and took a few steps back from Aselia.

The man with the broken nose composed himself and approached her with a determined look but Aselia wasn’t about to give up. She hooked her arms around his neck and bit down his neck taking out a huge chunk and spat it out. He shrieked and pushed her back before writhing in pain.

Phantom shook his head in disappointnt. Casually moving forward he grabbed both the n by their necks and glared before letting go and jamming his hands in their chests and ripping their hearts out. The stunned look on their faces etched forever as their lifeless bodies hit the ground followed by their bloody hearts.

"What a waste, they can’t even handle a girl who is bound," he shook his head and took his handkerchief and slowly wiped his hands with it. He then turned to face Aselia, who was ready to even tackle him.

"Haw! You are full of surprises. Who trained you?" She was fast, much faster than a regular elf and Phantom could see that, to be able to pull sothing like that needed an imnse amount of training. He wondered if Xiran had trained her. And then he rembered what Hudias had told him. He needed to check that.

She didn’t speak, just glared at him with resentful eyes. Phantom sighed and approached her as she got ready to fight him but he was much stronger than his good-for-nothing henchn. He grabbed her bound hands and clasped his hands around her injured neck as she thrashed against his hold.

"Let go!" He tried to use his powers again to subdue her but still, no black veins appeared and it frustrated him. Why were his powers useless against her? Phantom groaned and darkness engulfed him as he choked her with so much force that Aselia’s eyes began bulging out. Her oxygen supply was cut off and she struggled to breathe.

He lifted her before dropping her on the stretcher with a thud, Aselia lost consciousness and her head rolled to one side.

"Bind her and inject the serum. I want her mories restored asap," he sent a deathly stare to the doctor cowering in the corner as if he was facing a monster instead of a girl.

"U...understood," he finally stamred.
