"Is such a thing worth thanking?" Dorian Howards pressed his thin lips together, "If I had married you upon knowing about your pregnancy then, there wouldn’t be these issues today."
When he saw her with a pale face, holding a microphone on stage, looking like she was about to collapse, his chest hurt deeply. For the first ti, he hated himself so much; it was he who let her go through those ordeals that she shouldn’t have.
"Back then, it was my fault, not yours," Alice Conley said. "But how co you were here by coincidence, how did you co?"
"I heard Kyle say today was the press conference for your microfilm, so I ca with him to have a look," Dorian Howards said sowhat awkwardly.
He didn’t admit that he dragged Kyle along to avoid seeming too abrupt by coming alone.

"However, the way you spoke in front of the reporters might cause trouble later," Alice Conley said.
"What trouble? Or..." He paused, staring deeply at the person in front of him, "Or are you unwilling?"
Alice Conley shook her head, "No, what I an is your family might see the articles written by the reporters." It might lead to another disturbance then.
"Let them see, I genuinely intend to marry you anyway," he said, knowing deep down he was sowhat forcing her to agree to the marriage.
Earlier, he could have helped her in other ways, but he chose the most direct way.
"Alice, do you bla for what I said?" he asked, only concerned about her reaction.
She shook her head, "You helped , what is there to bla?"
"Do you agree?" he continued, "Agree with what I said earlier, agree that you are my fiancée?"
She was stunned; if she agreed, it would an they would get married, right?
But... if they really got married, then... in the future, how many issues would lie between them? How would things be between him and his mother?
