Mabel Quinn could only offer comfort, saying, "Maybe in a few days, Dorian Howards will co around."
Alice Conley shrugged her shoulders, trying to lift her spirits, and smiled, "We’ll see, anyway, right now I’m just focused on giving birth to the child in my belly. That’s already a great rcy from the heavens. I originally thought I’d never get the chance to be a mother, but it turns out I can beco a mom so young, it’s pretty good."
Seeing her friend’s ntal state not too bad, Mabel Quinn was sowhat relieved. As for the matters of love, she really couldn’t ddle much as an outsider.
The two chatted for a while longer, then Alice Conley bought herself two pairs of shoes with special anti-slip treatnt, saying she was afraid she’d accidentally fall with the pregnancy, which would be terrible.
Mabel Quinn didn’t expect her friend, who usually seed so carefree, to be so ticulous at this mont. From the things they ate while shopping before, it was also evident she was avoiding junk food.
Alice really cares a lot about this child. Just as Mabel Quinn was thinking about this, her phone rang, and she saw it was a call from Kyle Kinston.
Alice Conley also glanced at the incoming call display and smiled teasingly.
Mabel Quinn picked up the phone, and Kyle Kinston’s voice ca through, "Where are you?"
"Shopping with Alice," she replied.
"How’s the shopping going? Planning to have dinner outside?" he asked.
"Not really, we’re almost done." She looked at the ti, it was already almost 4 PM, "We’ll probably wrap up soon."
"Then I’ll co pick you up. I’m leaving the Corporation now, should be... hmm, there in about half an hour." he said after a pause.
"Hey, how do you know my exact location now?" she asked in surprise.
"Isn’t there phone location tracking? Alright, I’m getting ready to drive, talk later." he said and ended the call.
Mabel Quinn looked at her phone, well, she really was being silly, she almost forgot his phone could directly track her location.
Mabel Quinn put away her phone, and Alice Conley was beside her, "So, Kyle’s coming to pick you up shortly?"
"Yeah, he’ll be here in about half an hour, then he’ll drop you off first." Mabel Quinn said.
"As a pregnant woman, I won’t be polite about that!" Alice Conley said.
Half an hour later, the two got into Kyle Kinston’s car. Alice Conley noticed her friend’s seatbelt accidentally didn’t click in, so Kyle Kinston leaned over and said, "Let help." With that, he extended his hand, pulled over the seatbelt, and helped her buckle it properly.
"How was today’s shopping? Tiring?" Kyle Kinston asked.
"Not really, not too tired." Mabel Quinn said, "If anyone’s tired, it’s probably Alice."
"I’m fine, I’m in great spirits." Alice Conley quickly declared, then reported her ho address to Kyle Kinston.
Kyle Kinston started the car, and it drove out of the parking lot.
"Hey Kyle, now that you and Mabel are back together, when are you planning to marry our Mabel?" Alice Conley asked gossipingly in the car.
Imdiately, Mabel Quinn’s face flushed red, co on, they had just rekindled their relationship yesterday, there was no way to talk about marriage today!
