After Daniel Harris left the Apartnt Complex, Grace Yowell suddenly collapsed onto the ground, her face turning into an expression of terror.
How could this happen! Back then, she thought she did everything perfectly and could easily deceive Daniel, and in fact, she did for 10 years. Sotis, she even deluded herself into thinking that those two months, she was really the one by Daniel’s side.
But Mabel Quinn appeared, and everything turned chaotic because of Mabel Quinn’s appearance.

The morning sunlight stread through the window, Mabel Quinn opened her eyes, seeing Kyle Kinston lifting the quilt to get up.
"Did I wake you?" His low voice reached her.
Mabel Quinn shook her head, sat up, and wanted to grab the clothes placed beside her. However, as she raised her arm, she found it very sore.
Last night, she let him stay in the room, and naturally, they exercised again. Last night, he was particularly needy, demanding her several tis, otherwise, her body wouldn’t be sore to this extent.
"Let ." Kyle Kinston had already fetched Mabel Quinn’s clothes and helped her put them on one by one.
Mabel Quinn’s face flushed slightly. Abruptly, Kyle Kinston’s actions stopped, and following his gaze, Mabel Quinn realized he was looking at the scrapes she got from that crazy fan’s attack yesterday.
"It’s just a minor scrape, it’ll heal in a couple of days. Didn’t you already see it yesterday?" While on the bed yesterday, he had turned her body over and over; he probably knew her injuries better than she did.
"I won’t let off the person who hurt you so easily," he said, a hint of coldness in his eyes.
She thought for a mont and said, "Actually, the self-defense you taught back then was quite useful. If not for those moves, that crazy fan might have really succeeded, and I might have ended up with more than just so scrapes."
"In the coming days, I’ll have soone protect you, and today you have a follow-up at the hospital, right? I’ll go with you later," he said.
"Hey, don’t you have to go to work?" she blankly asked.
"Today there’s nothing important," he said. "Besides, you’re the most important person to , of course, I have to be with you."
Mabel Quinn’s face turned even redder, but her heart felt warm.
As he helped her dress, her gaze fell on his cheek. Although after a night, there seed to be nothing unusual about his cheek, she still vividly rembered the burning sensation in her palm from last night.
"Does it still hurt?" Her fingers gently touched his cheek, biting her lip as she asked.
He raised his hand to catch her fingers, "It doesn’t hurt anymore. I shouldn’t have forced you like that."
"I just wanted to push you away to explain clearly, not to hit you, it was... unintentional," she explained, then looked at his cheek again, before suddenly leaning in to kiss the spot on his cheek where she had hit him yesterday.
