So Alice Conley made a phone call to Dorian Howards and got the cell phone number.
Mabel Quinn, feeling anxious, dialed the number. When the call was answered, Kyle Kinston’s voice ca through, "Are you looking for ?"
"You picked up Ivy... What are you planning to do?" Mabel asked, her voice stiffer than usual.
"What do you think I’m planning to do?" Kyle countered.
Mabel bit her lip. "Ivy is just a child. No matter what happened between us in the past, let’s not involve the child, okay?"
"My car is almost at your apartnt complex. I’ll bring the child up in a bit," Kyle replied.
Just like that?! When the call ended, Mabel still hadn’t quite snapped out of it, but Alice hurriedly asked, "What did he say?"
"He said he’s arriving soon and will bring Ivy up," Mabel replied.
Alice let out a sigh of relief, "That’s good. No matter what, you two have so things to straighten out."
"Yeah, things need to be cleared up," Mabel said with a bitter smile. She had been avoiding it for so many years, but now it had co to this day.

Kyle Kinston walked into the house holding the little girl. He wasn’t surprised to see Alice Conley there since Dorian had ntioned Alice was staying with Mabel Quinn.
Upon seeing the little girl Kyle was holding, Alice’s eyes suddenly felt a bit teary. Though she had seen the kid’s photos before, seeing her in person made it more deeply felt that Mabel’s daughter’s eyes were so much like Kyle’s. With eyes like these on a woman, she would probably be enchanting as she grew up.
Anyone would think this big one and little one were father and daughter.
"Mommy, Uncle Kyle brought back. Uncle Kyle even bought coconut milk," the little one said.
Mabel forced a smile, following her usual habit, "Did you thank Uncle Kyle?"
"Yes, I gave Uncle Kyle a kiss." The little one was very adept at using her kisses.
Mabel was speechless listening to this. She would need to teach her daughter to be more reserved about kisses in the future. Alice also felt at a loss for words.
Kyle Kinston put the little one down, and she imdiately sprinted into the bedroom. As everyone wondered what was going on, the little one ran back out holding a piggy bank with a hint of reluctance and handed it to Kyle, "Here, this is my piggy bank. My pocket money is all inside. Our kindergarten sports day is this Sunday, Uncle Kyle has to co and be my temporary daddy, no backing out." The little one purely took Kyle’s previous silence as consent.
Upon hearing this, Mabel was instantly dumbfounded, "Ivy, what’s this about a temporary daddy?"
"It’s about making Uncle Kyle my daddy for a day, just one day. Shouldn’t it be cheaper? Do I have enough money saved to buy Uncle Kyle?" The little one looked at Kyle contemplating whether she might not have enough money.
Alice couldn’t help but burst out laughing. This Kyle Kinston being bought by his own daughter, even just as a temporary daddy for a day, really sounded... delightful!
Mabel’s headache grew, so she kneeled down to speak to her daughter, "Ivy, Mommy needs to talk to Uncle Kyle. Can you go play in the neighborhood park with Aunt Alice for a while?"
