In contrast to Mabel Quinn’s complex emotions, Francine Howards is completely shocked and scared. She never imagined that the kidnapping she thought would go smoothly ended up failing, and what’s more, she directly sent Mabel’s daughter right to Kyle Kinston’s doorstep.
However, she learned from eavesdropping on others that Kyle only held the little girl for a mont and said nothing else, then had the nearby police officers take the little girl back to the station.
So Kyle probably didn’t realize that the little girl was his child.
But upon further reflection, it makes sense. After all, Mabel wasn’t there at the ti, and Kyle has no mory of Mabel, so even if he thinks the little girl looks a bit like him, he wouldn’t think too much of it.

"Sister Han, why did you bring here? You know these events really aren’t suited to ," Mabel Quinn said, exasperated at the star-studded banquet. She normally never attended these functions, but today Sister Han didn’t clarify and simply dragged her here.
"You should attend these banquets once in a while. Many connections are built at these kinds of events," Sister Han said. "By the way, is Ivy being looked after tonight?"
"Yes," Mabel replied. She initially thought there was so ergency eting with the production team, so she asked Auntie Wu to take care of Ivy at ho.
"That’s good. You know, when Ivy was kidnapped earlier, it scared half to death, but luckily it was just a false alarm. I’ve always said, Ivy is a child blessed with great luck," Sister Han remarked.
Great luck... Mabel paused, but upon reflection, it’s true the child has incredible luck. Despite the shipwreck, Ivy managed to survive.
"Alright, just relax at this banquet and network as much as you can. Plus, there will be many actors here today, so see which actors match the roles in your new script," Sister Han advised, as the production team would consider the screenwriter’s opinions when casting.
Mabel sighed; she had no choice but to go along with it, knowing that Sister Han was doing this for her own good.
Soon after, Sister Han was called away by others, leaving Mabel feeling quite bored in the corner of the banquet hall. Despite the many actors present, she knew them, but they didn’t know her.
As a screenwriter, she uses the na Anastasia, and rarely appears in the dia. Only those who have worked with her know her, but it seems none of those actors are attending today. Those who are there are surrounded by others, and she didn’t want to join the crowd.
