The woman beside Phillipa starts speaking, "I know that my sister has done much to deserve the injuries she has sustained, but I believe with enough ti, healing, and therapy, she could beco a valuable asset to the Holy Empire."
Solaire speaks up, "Done much is an understatent Lady Yennefer, had Bartosz and an outside party not interfered, her actions could have potentially killed 47 innocent people. And while my sister and I were on standby to act should the need arise, the lack of deaths should not lesser the cri. The intention was to kill innocent people, if you are caught trying to steal sothing, that does not an you aren't guilty of theft." he states.
Yennefer "You are correct in that assumption Sir Solaire, however the situation isn't as clear as it looks. Phillipa Eilhart has not been of right mind for a number of years, the reason for this is due to your invading her mind." she says to the man sitting atop the throne who looked non-plussed at the accusation. "And while I do not bla you as the situation may have very well called for it, it does put in doubt whether Phillipa Eilhart is responsible for her own actions. We have laws to protect those under the influence of possession, mind-control, and other similar ailnts, should we not apply rcy in this instance?"
The man on the throne speaks up, "I may have hard her mind in the past Yennefer, but don't forget it was you who guaranteed her willingness to repent. And don't forget the reason she had to be interrogated in the first place. I had erred on the side of rcy due to her being a friend of yours, but I can only take so much before I am forced into action...
Before I make any final judgents, let ask you personally Phillipa. In the past you allied with Vampires and committed atrocities to sate your desire for vengeance. In the present you plot to steal knowledge, harm innocents to achieve your goals, and are doing your best to see an end to the Holy Empire... What can I expect from your future should I let you go?" he asks, a wave of magic washing over the room and causing the burned woman to stutter.
Phillipa "I-I... I w-will do e-everything in my power t-to see the end of the H-Holy Empire!" she stutters out, her eyes widening a she hears the words that escape her mouth.
The man nods, "I see. I hadn't expected anything less from you." he looks to Yennefer, "She'll be executed tomorrow morning in the public square, the way she dies is up to you, whether it's painless, agonising, or sowhere in between." he says, and the sound of a gavel banging on wood echoes through the room, even though there wasn't one present.
Phillipa screams when she hears this, shouting curses at everyone present while calling Yennefer a "Traitorous bitch", a portal opened behind her and she was dragged out after being bound by Diritium chains. A few of the people observing leave the room, but a few sit back down when Priscilla stands up and approaching the man.
"Hm? Cilla? What can I do for you?" he asks, his authoritative voice and attitude fading away as if they were illusions.
Priscilla "I've discovered so information that may interest you Rei... There's apparently a Demon Lord of sorts that is running amock sowhere, they don't belong to this world and were apparently brought by the spatial rift that'd passed us recently.
The man nods and gestures over to the people Priscilla had been sitting with, "Co up front, I'm guessing you have sothing to say otherwise you wouldn't be here... I am Reima Ludvig, King of the "Humble" Holy Empire." he says semi-sarcastically.
Mathias "I am Mathias, a Sorcerer from another world... This is Barnock, a Barbarian. Tyrael, the forr Angel of Justice who shed his divinity to assist humanity. And these two are Jerma and Lennon, so farrs from Piana who have been helping us navigate this world."
Reima nods with a smirk, "I can't help but feel there's sothing wrong with the order you introduced everyone..." he says, feeling that a literal angel should co first before a Barbarian, or even a Sorcerer.
Mathias "We consider ourselves equal, and I suggest not to belittle Barnock, he and I are known as Nephalem, the children of Angels and Demons."
Reima "Mmmhmm, I'm not trying to be rude, but I actually don't care all that much... Priscilla, tell more about the Demon Lord traipsing around my territory." he asks.
Priscilla "Actually, it is Tyrael who seems to know about this being, I'm simply reciting what he'd said."
Tyrael nods and steps forwards, "The Demon is known as Diablo, the Lord of Terror. An extrely powerful being with whom Heaven has been fighting against for millennia, unfortunately with the help of a Witch nad Adria, he managed to absorb the powers of the 7 Pri Evils, becoming one of the most powerful beings in existence as a result."
...
Reima "Mmmhmm, and how powerful is Diablo without those Pri Evils?"
Tyrael frowns and put his hand on his chin thoughtfully, "It depends, usually it takes more than one Angel to take him down... Not to ntion that demons are unkillable as they will always be reborn in hell."
Reima sighs, "And how powerful are the Angels." he asks, feeling like they were going around in circles.
Tyrael "When I had my full power, I could annihilate armies of humans and demons on my own. Angels are powerful, but are usually defeated by demons due to their unrciful and cunning tactics. The only reason the demons haven't defeated heaven and taken over the human world is due to infighting, they are brutal and greedy, an would never allow another to rise above them."
