Once the bloodfla touched Bai Shi's body and burned an opening through it, it beca unstoppable.

Bit by bit, it incinerated the blood within him, then his muscles and skin.

Bai Shi felt the pain of being set alight, from the inside out.

Agony. It was true agony, and it was ceaseless.

lina, when you set yourself ablaze, did you endure this sa pain?

Or was the fla of the giant who sacrificed himself even more agonizing?

In re seconds, the bloodfla surged through his veins, incinerating his entire body from within.

There was no point in activating invincibility now. The room was already filled with blood, and the mont it wore off, the bloodfla would surge back.

If that was the case, then he had no choice.

"Ding."

Fengling Yueying, activate!

Infinite Health (Remaining ti: 300 seconds).

As Infinite Health activated, every part of Bai Shi's body that had been incinerated began to rapidly regenerate.

The bloodfla hadn't been extinguished; its burning simply couldn't keep pace with the regeneration of his flesh.

The agony of the flas still remained, but it was, after all, only pain.

His health was locked, and his recovery was incredibly fast.

Right now, Bai Shi was, for all intents and purposes, immortal.

Perhaps there was sothing in this world capable of killing him even with Infinite Health, but it certainly wasn't Mohg's bloodfla.

Seeing that the bloodfla no longer posed a threat, Bai Shi simply stopped his storm, letting the flas scorch him.

Bai Shi glanced up to see Mohg distracted, his gaze fixed on the door.

"So you think I'm dead. A pity... I won't be granting that wish."

Enduring the searing pain of the bloodfla, Bai Shi leaped at Mohg, bringing his twin swords down with imnse force.

By the ti Mohg reacted, it was too late.

Before he could completely teleport away through the blood, Bai Shi's swords had already crashed down on his head, severing several of his tough On horns.

---

Back in the present.

Mohg's expression was grim.

For he had realized that Bai Shi had spoken the truth.

The bloodfla was still burning, having incinerated a vast amount of his blood, yet Bai Shi's body kept regenerating.

No matter how much Mohg intensified the bloodfla, he could only slow the rate at which it was being purged from Bai Shi's body.

Mohg couldn't comprehend it. He had never heard of such a bizarre rate of regeneration in all the Lands Between.

How in the world was this Tarnished before him doing it?

Bai Shi gave him no ti to think. Infinite Health had a ti limit, after all, and he had to finish off Mohg's avatar before it ran out.

Bai Shi charged fearlessly at Mohg. Blood and fire rained down on him, carving countless wounds deep to the bone.

But the next mont, new flesh sprouted from the wounds, sealing them as if the attacks had never landed at all.

Mohg thrust his sacred spear. Bai Shi made no move to dodge, and the trident's tips plunged straight through his abdon.

At the sa ti, Bai Shi's swords fell upon Mohg, tearing through his magnificent robes and leaving two gashes on his body.

With his left hand, Mohg unleashed Bloodfla Talons again, while his right twisted the spear, snapping Bai Shi's spine into several pieces.

Bai Shi instantly lost control of his legs. The bloodfla claws tore open his chest, exposing the throbbing heart within.

But Bai Shi ignored the pain, his twin swords continuing to slash across Mohg's body, swiftly inflicting innurable wounds. Seeing his attacks were futile, Mohg ignored the blows, grabbed Bai Shi's heart, and with a powerful heave of his spear, flung Bai Shi off it.

Bai Shi's body flew through the air like a rag doll. But before he even hit the ground, all his injuries had healed completely. He landed squarely on his feet.

Bai Shi gritted his teeth. The pain from those last two blows had been so intense he had nearly blacked out.

Before Bai Shi could pounce again, the blood on the room's walls flowed into Mohg's body, nding his wounds.

Mohg crushed the still-beating heart in his hand, his mind reeling with disbelief.

What kind of monster was this?!

Mohg's body was ford from cursed blood; he could use it to rapidly heal his wounds, but a fatal injury would still kill him.

Yet this Tarnished... he could regrow even his own heart!

What's more, his regeneration was far faster than his own.

Heart torn out, a huge gash in his abdon, spine snapped into pieces.

And yet, such grievous wounds had healed before he'd even landed.

Bloodfla killed with terrifying speed, capable of incinerating a man from the inside out in seconds.

If Mohg hadn't just inflicted so many injuries to tax his restorative powers, the bloodfla would likely have been purged from his body completely.

As Bai Shi charged again, Mohg stopped engaging directly. Instead, he used his ability to teleport, constantly shifting positions around the room.

He bombarded Bai Shi with blood blades and splashes of bloodfla, inflicting new wounds to ensure the fire within could not be completely extinguished.

Mohg tossed out a handful of eggs. Watered by the cursed blood, a swarm of flies with horrific mouthparts quickly hatched.

Bai Shi shielded his face with his storm; the thought of those flies crawling into his ears or so other orifice was revolting.

A dense swarm of flies sward over Bai Shi, tearing at his flesh, trying to chew an opening to burrow inside him.

But no sooner would a fly rip off a piece of flesh and swallow it than the flesh would instantly grow back.

Gradually, the flies began to burst, their abdons rupturing. There was too much to eat; they simply couldn't devour it all.

Now and then, Mohg would lash out with his spear, using its reach to inflict more wounds on Bai Shi.

Mohg decided to stall. Whatever this power was, it had to co at a cost.

Victory would be his the mont this Tarnished could no longer endure.

The cramped room, however, gave the advantage to Bai Shi, who no longer had to fear injury.

Mohg's teleportation took a mont to execute, and Bai Shi was always able to weather the onslaught and land a blow before he vanished.

Eventually, Mohg gave up on appearing at all, leaving the assault to his disembodied blades and flas.

Mohg dissolved into the blood to hide, wracking his brain for a way to kill this man.

Seeing Mohg in hiding, Bai Shi simply sat down to recover his strength, letting the attacks wash over him.

With this constant expenditure of power, the blood that had once flooded the room grew thin, no longer covering every corner.

Soon, it would likely be as sparse as a spider's web.

Mohg grew anxious. Why couldn't he kill him?

So much ti had passed. He was running out of blood, yet the man's regeneration hadn't slowed in the least.
