On a distant mountaintop, the temple of the Mohgwyn Dynasty was now a scene of utter ruin.

Stone pillars had collapsed and bricks lay shattered. A massive explosion had utterly obliterated everything that was once magnificent and solemn.

Amidst this ferocious assault, a blood-red egg remained unhard in the center of the temple.

The mont the attack had arrived, Mohg had commanded the cursed blood to surge forth, forming a solid shield around the cocoon he shared with Miquella.

Mohg awoke from within Miquella’s cocoon and opened his eyes.

He’d had a premonition the mont his Mohgwyn Dynasty Knights perished, but by then, it was already too late to stop their advance.

Bai Shi’s roar finally traversed the entire dynasty and reached this place.

“Mohg, co out and die!”

Hearing that familiar voice, the one that had thwarted him ti and again, Mohg’s form dissolved into blood and flowed out of Miquella’s cocoon.

“So, you’ve co at last.”

Mohg chuckled softly, pulling the Mohgwyn Sacred Spear from the void.

Unlike the cheap imitations made of blood, this was the genuine, sacred treasure of the dynasty.

Mohg’s face was grim, his bared teeth and sharp fangs forming a dangerous smile as he muttered to himself, almost grinding his teeth:

“So you’ve finally co, Bai Shi!”

“I must say, I admire your courage and your ignorance, daring to step into my domain.”

“Then today shall be the day you die!”

Mohg turned to Miquella’s cocoon, giving a slight nod to the sleeping demigod within.

“Ah... Miquella, my dearest. Please, wait just a mont longer.”

“I will dispose of them shortly.”

“Once this greatest of obstacles is removed, our magnificent dynasty will be upon us.”

Mohg brandished the sacred spear in his hand, and the area around the cocoon was instantly covered in cursed blood, sealing it tight.

Now, no one but Bai Shi could possibly abscond with Miquella while he was away.

After a mont’s thought, Mohg added two more layers of protection for good asure.

Thick streams of blood, like a dense web of veins, crisscrossed the dilapidated temple, wrapping Miquella’s cocoon in layer upon layer of defense.

Having taken every possible precaution, Mohg finally set his mind at ease.

Even if Bai Shi tried a surprise attack on this location during their battle, these defenses would hold for a while.

Mohg looked down the mountain, his eyes filled with tyranny.

His figure once again lted into a pool of blood and vanished in an instant.

Bai Shi stood at the forefront of his companions, slaughtering his way forward, annihilating any enemies who dared to stand in his way.

The defensive lines of Mohgwyn Dynasty Knights and Albinaurics were completely unable to stop him, torn to shreds with ease.

One of the Mohgwyn Dynasty Knights lunged forward with his rapier, aiming to pierce Bai Shi’s neck.

Bai Shi thrust his spear-sword forward, aiming for the knight.

The knight executed a spinning evasion, a technique of the dynasty’s swordsmanship, landing just outside the spear-sword’s reach.

He was feeling quite pleased with himself, thinking he could finally make a good showing in front of Lord Mohg.

But before his daydream could finish, the crystal-like spear-sword suddenly glowed. A deep blue laser shot out from its tip, punching a hole straight through his body.

Master Iji had imbued this spear-sword with a special skill that could condense magic to an extre degree, firing it in a laser-like beam with astonishing penetrating power.

Watching the Mohgwyn Dynasty Knight fall, Bai Shi casually twirled his weapon, slicing a nearby Bloody Finger in two.

When Mohg appeared again, it was within the vast pool of cursed blood at the very center of the Mohgwyn Dynasty.

Mohg raised his head, looking toward the cliffside path that led into his domain.

Bai Shi had already slaughtered his way through it. The bodies of his underlings fell carelessly into the abyss, and a river of blood flowed down into the pool below.

As Mohg laid eyes on Bai Shi, Bai Shi seed to sense it, his gaze eting Mohg’s from afar.

Seeing Mohg reveal himself, Bai Shi flashed an arrogant smile.

“Mohg, today you and your ridiculous dynasty will be destroyed.”

Before Mohg could respond, the surviving Mohgwyn Dynasty Knights on the slope could no longer restrain themselves and charged forward.

Faced with the assault of these naless ants, Bai Shi frowned.

“I’m talking to your boss. Show so respect.”

“That’s no way to show loyalty...”

Bai Shi clenched his right hand as if grabbing sothing, then yanked it toward the cliff wall—

In an instant, an unparalleled gale and gravitational force slamd all enemies on the path against the cliffside. Their bodies burst like water balloons, painting the entire cliff face with blood.

Upon arriving in the Mohgwyn Dynasty, Bai Shi had used his Fengling Yueying system once to activate a five-tis rune multiplier.

The blood bank truly lived up to its na. All the enemies here were influenced by the cursed blood, making them much stronger than their ordinary counterparts.

Coupled with the runes they had plundered from their raids everywhere, each one provided Bai Shi with a considerable amount.

And most importantly—

Everyone here was an enemy loyal to Mohg. Bai Shi felt no psychological burden whatsoever in killing them.

With the five-tis multiplier, the runes accumulated, flowing into Bai Shi’s body.

In just that short ti, he had already gained over a million runes.

Right in front of Mohg, Bai Shi eliminated every last enemy on the cliffside path.

At this scene, Mohg’s expression instantly changed. He clenched his jaw, his entire body trembling.

A battle of this caliber was indeed beyond what these underlings could handle; they could only be crushed like this.

Although Mohg recruited Bloody Fingers from all over, encouraging Tarnished to kill one another, and cared nothing for human life himself... he would not allow anyone else to kill his own n!

This was a slap in his face!

Bai Shi ignored the "bank tellers" and went straight for his target: Mohg.

Mohg moved laterally across the pool of cursed blood, dodging the spear-sword Bai Shi had thrown.

In the next mont, a blood crow was utterly impaled by the spear-sword, nearly torn to pieces.

Bai Shi’s figure landed on the weapon's handle, which was now deeply embedded in the blood pool.

Bai Shi looked down on Mohg from his high perch, his eyes filled with ridicule.

“You probably never expected I would find you so quickly, did you?”

“Then again, your little blood conspiracy was so well-hidden. You probably still see it as your masterpiece.”

“What a pity. You have no secrets from .”

Mohg stared at the face he loathed so much and raised the Mohgwyn Sacred Spear high.

“I admit you have so skill...”

“But you should not have co to my Mohgwyn Dynasty.”

“This place will be your grave, and your head will beco an offering for my dynasty!”

The boundless cursed blood churned, stirred by the spear held aloft in Mohg’s hand.

The cursed blood domains he had previously created through his avatars were rely trickles from this vast swamp.

This endless, ocean-like pool of blood was Mohg’s true domain.

Bloodfla ignited within the pool of cursed blood, instantly turning the entire marsh into a sea of fire.

Mohg stood within the inferno, his cold eyes fixed on Bai Shi.

Faced with the all-encompassing Bloodfla, which left no room to dodge, Bai Shi rely smiled indifferently. He then leaped down and pulled out his spear-sword. Seeing that Bai Shi was unfazed by the Bloodfla, Mohg sneered repeatedly.

As Mohg saw it, Bai Shi would surely use that rapid healing secret art again, just like last ti.

But here, in the Mohgwyn Dynasty, the reserves of cursed blood were so vast that even he couldn't accurately quantify them.

It was far too naive to think he could escape with his life by luck again, just like before.

However, when the Bloodfla truly began to burn Bai Shi’s body, the smile on Mohg’s face abruptly froze.

Why... why wasn’t he burning?

After the Bloodfla struggled to breach Bai Shi's body, it imdiately began to spread inward, just as it had before.

But the once-invincible Bloodfla now had almost no effect.

The rate at which it burned was exceptionally slow, nothing like how Bloodfla should behave!

Bai Shi was a creature of flesh and blood, not so pitiful Mimic Tear that didn’t even have blood.

Besides, Mohg had used this exact move on Bai Shi before, and it had been perfectly effective!

By now, Mohg was roaring in his mind, unable to believe that his invincible technique had failed yet again.

Bai Shi held out a hand, watching the sa Bloodfla that had once forced him to use Fengling Yueying's infinite health now burn harmlessly upon him.

It could barely hurt him anymore.

After receiving the blessing of the sun, Bai Shi possessed eighty to ninety percent fire damage negation.

This Bloodfla could hardly burn inside his body.

“In disbelief?”

“I’ve been waiting a long ti to see this look on your face!”

Bai Shi advanced, spear-sword in hand, as specks of fiery embers began to appear on his body.

The Cinder mode, a power he had completely sealed away after mastering the sun's power, was active once more. Bai Shi had set himself alight.

Once wreathed in embers, Mohg's Bloodfla found it even more difficult to invade, blocked completely outside his body.

With Bloodfla rendered useless, Mohg abandoned the tactic and lunged forward, thrusting with his sacred spear.

But Bai Shi was faster. He struck second but landed first, his spear-sword piercing straight through Mohg's torso. With a powerful downward slash, he sliced Mohg's chest open all the way to his waist.

Despite this massive gain, there was no hint of joy on Bai Shi's face.

On the contrary, his brow furrowed in deep thought.

This wasn't Mohg's style.

The figure skewered on the spear-sword continued to press forward, completely ignoring the fact that it had been run through.

The sacred spear stabbed into Bai Shi, piercing his armor and leaving three shallow, bleeding holes in his body.

Boundless cursed blood from the surroundings sward upwards, attempting to pour into the three wounds.

Bai Shi felt the cursed blood eroding him from within and intensified his own flas to completely expel it.

The swarming tide of blood was held at bay by the sun’s fierce flas.

The body before him disintegrated, dissolving into blood and rging with the pool at their feet.

Bai Shi spun around to block another spear strike. Mohg's figure had already reappeared behind him.

Mohg pushed with all his might, his spear locked against Bai Shi's spear-sword, a smirk playing on his lips.

“Hehe, I am, in fact, soone who fears death a great deal.”

“So no matter what, I want to live.”

“I once witnessed Radahn in battle. To be honest, I coveted the power of his Great Rune imnsely.”

“However, the power of a Great Rune is unique, so I had to find a different path.”

Bai Shi looked into Mohg’s eyes. Within this boundless pool of cursed blood, he possessed an unparalleled regenerative ability.

Did he think that with so much cursed blood, he could never lose a battle of attrition?

“It doesn’t matter. I’ll kill you as many tis as it takes.”

A storm of power erupted around Bai Shi, gales carrying draconic lightning that raked across Mohg’s body again and again.

The sun’s flas radiated outwards from Bai Shi, continuously consuming the cursed blood.

In the relentless clash, Mohg’s body was also seared by the flas.

Unfortunately, fire wasn't particularly effective against Mohg either.

As soone who had long consorted with Bloodfla, he naturally had so resistance to other types of fire.

As Mohg continued his frenzied assault, completely disregarding his own injuries, Bai Shi’s body was repeatedly branded with wounds carrying cursed blood.

Unlike the consummately skilled General Radahn, Mohg was consistently at a disadvantage in his fight with Bai Shi, often needing several exchanges just to land a single minor blow.

However, fighting on his ho turf made Mohg incredibly difficult to deal with.

After Mohg’s repeated attacks finally bore fruit, Bai Shi’s body had been significantly corroded by the cursed blood from the sacred spear. Even the embers burning within him couldn't quickly purge it all.

Finally, after a furious barrage, Mohg swept his claws, creating several lacerations in the air that exploded in sequence.

Using this opportunity, Mohg created distance, retreating backward on a tide of blood.

Far from Bai Shi, a hideous grin spread across his face.

Mohg raised his sacred spear high, thrusting it upwards and shouting loudly:

“Three!”

Bai Shi watched as the tip of the sacred spear pierced into the void, causing illusory ripples to spread through the air.

An indescribable sense of panic imdiately welled up in his heart.

Mohg was using the power of the sacred spear to build a bridge of communication with the Formless Mother, who resided far among the stars.

As the Outer God’s blood fell, the cursed blood on Bai Shi's body imdiately responded, forming a circular, blood-colored scar around him.

Bai Shi imdiately hurled a Spear of Sunlight at Mohg's position.

But Mohg shifted his form again, moving to the complete opposite side.

As if mocking Bai Shi's powerlessness, Mohg’s smile grew wider.

“Two!”

Another bloody ring appeared around Bai Shi’s body.

Knowing he couldn’t interrupt Mohg in ti, Bai Shi began to focus all his efforts on dispelling the cursed blood and the rings.

However, the rings of blood, a curse bestowed by the power of a god, could not be so easily dismissed. Even the cursed blood had entered a special, untouchable state.

This was a curse from a god.

Mohg closed his eyes, as if murmuring a prayer.

When he opened them again, he looked up to the heavens, his eyes filled with longing and adoration.

Finally, he gripped the Mohgwyn Sacred Spear with both hands and, with the utmost reverence and piety, thrust it upward once more.

“One!”

The final ring was placed around Bai Shi.

Now, this overwhelming curse had locked onto Bai Shi completely.

Drawing upon the power of the Formless Mother, Mohg activated his own transfigured Great Rune and roared madly at Bai Shi:

“Zero!”
