"Fucking Vampires... The gate I have for these things needs to studied."

Levi hissed as he stared at the feral beast thrashing in the tub.

He looked at him—no, it—with utter indifference as his completely purple iris lood over it like a man about to put down his pet.

Clang-clang-clang.

The chains that bound the vampire rattled as it raged about the tub unable to get up.

"It’s silver..." Levi muttered as he walked away, his boots slamming heavily onto the tile with every step, he grabbed a bucket as he slowly walked back to the tub and sat at the stool beside it.

"Rrrraaahhh..." It wouldn’t stop straining and gnawing for Levi’s face even as the silver chains that bound it began to sizzle.

Clink.

Levi set the bucket down beside him, eyes never drifting from the vampire, his gaze steady, his hair perfectly serene white with black edges, his muscular physique blocking the flickering lightbulb above from reaching the tub.

"Let’s play a ga," he said as his cold tone echoed throughout the room, "simple rules..." He raised up the wet towel by his side, "Do you know what waterboarding is?" He tilted his head.

Its fangs and claws retracted, the blackened veins pulling never its eyes faded, pupils dilating as the beads of sweat on his brows soaked his loose strands of hair.

Levi continued, "Well it’s a form of interrogation where I place the towel over your face and then pour water over your face to simulate drowning... I’ve always wanted to try it anyway... But since you’re a vampire I’ve put a little twist on it."

Levi smiled, "instead of regular water, why not use garlic water?"

The vampire’s eyes widened, it finally began to speak, "wait wait wait... I don’t want any trouble, just let leave and I’ll go."

Levi shook his head, "you still don’t get it, I know you things, I can basically read your thoughts..." He leaned in closer, "that’s how I know the only thing you can think about right now is how you want to tear apart."

Its eyes retracted as it fangs sprung out and it stretched its face and neck for Levi’s neck but the chains held in place, just a few inches away from his face but Levi didn’t flinch—not even a blink.

He stood up, soaking the towel into the bucket as he slapped it onto the vampire’s face—

"Aaarghhh."

It scread imdiately the towel made contact with its face.

Levi, without hesitation, grabbed the bucket and splashed it over its face slowly — as if savouring every mont.

Its muffled scread rung throughout the room as a burning sizzling sound exhuded the towel and the sll of garlic covered everything.

He finally pulled the towel from its face, patches of flesh and muscle visible, face still burning and choking up garlic water.

"Finally we’re on the sa page... I honestly didn’t even know that would work," Levi sneered as he sat back down beside the tub.

"Wha—what the hell do you want from ?," Its breath ca in ragged gasps as its chest heaved in and out, eyes protruded as if they were about to explode.

"From you... Nothing much, just the na of your hive and its exact location."

It imdiately turned to Levi, "You’re fucking crazy... This is what happens when we let dinner grow too large."

Levi threw the towel back onto its face, before it could even protest another wave of garlic waver ca crashing down onto his face in one swoop.

He took it off again, the choking and sizzling continued as an iron sll filled the air.

Levi’s gaze tightened, "look at , do I seem like a regular human to you... I don’t fear you things... I just fucking hate you."

"Even if I give you everything you asked for, you’d just go there and die."

Levi shook his head again, "wrong answer."

Just before he could throw the towel back onto its face—

"STOP."

it scread.

Levi did, placing the towel on his lap and resting his head on his chin.

It continued, "who the fuck do you think you are? And who’s dumb enough to go after the vampires?"

"I’m Levi Kane and I’m not just going after your hive, I’m going after them all... I think it’s finally ti we started exterminating vampires like the bugs you are."

It rested the back of its head at the foot of the tub as a soft laugh left his lips, "You actually think you’re gonna kill the vampires then you’re just plain dumb... We can’t be killed... We’re the apex beings."

Levi’s jaw clenched, "*you*— You are nothing but a failed experint, humans have lived in fear of you things for too long."

It raised its head slightly, "I don’t even care what you do... If I tell you will you let go?"

He laughed, "No."

It whipped its head forward—as Levi saw the chance poured the garlic water down his throat choking him as the veins bubbled dangerous red around his neck.

Levi leaned closer, his eyes unreadable. "Do I seem like a regular human to you?"

The vampire’s breath hitched. "No... you’re sothing else. What the hell are you?"

A small smile tugged at Levi’s mouth, humorless and cold. "Let’s just say your hive should’ve finished the job when they had the chance."

He stretched again, with his mouth open.

Levi kept staring as its spit and snot flew off its face onto his, "I will give you a choice though..." It finally stopped, trying to hear its finally options, "I can one, kill you as quickly as possible and say us both the ti of the day or two, I can leave up in a garlic, salt and rosemary bath for the next— well until you finally talk and die."

"What type of options are those?," It pleaded.

The look of indifference never leaving Levi’s face, "The only ones I’m giving you."

"So How’s your death gonna be, Slow or quick?"

Its face with nurous patches of just muscle and flesh, realisation that this is where it’d die here finally hitting him like cold water, "please, just let go."

"Alright fine, let’s have a little test... If you pass I promise to let you go."

"Yes," its eyes nearly jumped out of its sockets, "Anything, anything at all."

He pulled out a pocket knife from his pocket, "if you can prove to you’re not a feral animal... I’ll cut myself and your job is simple, don’t change at all and if you can I’ll let you go."

"Wait, sothing else, anything else."

It was too late as Levi already cut an incision across his open palm and dangled it in front of it, it bit his lips hard, almost tearing through them, shut his eyes and held its breath, as if trying to stop every sensation going through its body.

Levi stretched his hand further to it, it tightened its eyes further until the blood trailed off his palm, it started—

Even with his eyes shut, the veins round his eyes darkened as blood trickled from its lips—its fangs were out, its claws protruding and skin paler.

It couldn’t help itself anymore— it stretched again.

Levi imdiately drew back his hand as he sighed, "You wanna know why you’re an animal— because you things lack self-control, your bodies require an inhumane amount of blood to function, more than your body can make—

Just like ticks, leeches you’re non-sufficient parasites, who worst of all can’t control themselves."

It just kept on thrashing and stretching its neck, like in complete feral mode.

Levi stood again, stepping away from the tub, "Well, I guess you failed the challenge."

The stench of garlic grew significantly more as it stopped in its track and imdiately started to cough, as if choking.

Levi ca back into view with a bucket with steaming hot garlic water, "I actually hate the sll of garlic... But I guess this is for the cause."

He soaked the steaming towel into the boiling water as he slapped it onto its face.

It gurgled as it tried to scream and breathe through the towel.

Levi leaned back against the edge of the tub, "you know why garlic burns you, "garlic emits a strong ionic charge that interferes with your bioelectrical field—creating a painful sensation."

He pulled the towel off its face for the very last ti, "your last chance, where’s the hive?"
