"You guys go first, Second Lieutenant Hai Hua."
"Yes. Mr. Allen, please take care."
Hai Hua waved his hand and left with the rest of the team. They climbed a short hill not far away and stood at the top of the slope. The second lieutenant looked down. Allen and the Gatu expert were at different angles in the open space beneath the sentry fort, confronting each other from afar. Hai Hua sighed. This was the first ti he hated himself for being too weak to help. The Catus had never been good at speed, and it wasn't hard to tell from Allen's battle yesterday that his explosive speed was so fast that the Catus called Hubble wouldn't be able to catch up in a short period of ti.
Allen could have left his team, but he chose to stay, most likely because he was concerned about the safety of his team. Thinking of this, the second lieutenant stood upright and saluted Alan. This was the only thing he could do right now, and the only thing left was to pray for Alan to win this final battle.
Even though that looks like a slim hope.
When the second lieutenant turned around, the two auras behind him soared. The Origin Energy of both sides also began to resist and collide. Both of them forcefully and unyieldingly competed for every inch of space. When Hai Hua looked back, two figures had already collided beneath the sentry fort. The sound of weapons hitting each other struck his heart like a drum. Hai Hua's entire body trembled as he turned around and quickened his pace to leave.
It was early in the morning, and the flas of war had rarely stopped. The main forces of the two sides did not move, and there were no traces of fighting on so battlefields. The canyon was strangely quiet, and even the traces of wild beasts moving were very few. Hai Hua was climbing a steep cliff. From his direction, he could no longer see Alan's sentry fort.
A few stones rolled down from under his feet. The second lieutenant pulled his body hard and finally climbed up the cliff. He took a deep breath. Not far away was one of the several gathering points of the military headquarters in the war zone. When he got there, he could rest for at least half a day before participating in today's battle. Hai Hua turned to the bottom of the cliff and shouted to the team mbers who were still trying to climb, "Hurry up, we don't need to eat those damn nutrients when we get back to the gathering point."
The taste of nutrients is really not good. Although artificial flavors are added, the taste is naturally not as good as real food. Hearing Hai Hua's words, the soldiers' spirits rose, and even their hands and feet beca clearer.
"You slanderers." Hai Hua scolded.
Turning around, his body suddenly stiffened. A figure erged from the dense forest in front of the highlands. It was a man, his entire body wrapped in a cloak. There was a sniper rifle on his back, and his feet, which were protruding from under the cloak, were heavily stepped on the ground with iron boots embedded in the front. He seed to have discovered Hai Hua as well, so he stopped. At this ti, the Federation soldiers had already climbed onto the high ground and were on guard when they saw this situation.
Hai Hua shouted, "Who are you?"
"Is my identity that important? Second Lieutenant." The man's light laugh ca from his hat. He took off his hat and revealed a smile that was neither a smile nor a smile.
Hai Hua was stunned. He recognized this person and said in surprise, "Major General Ke ng, why are you here?"
"Of course I have a mission. Otherwise, I wouldn't have co to such a place by myself." Comon blinked his eyes and said, "It's you, Second Lieutenant. Why are you here? If I rember correctly, you should be at the assembly point at this ti, right?"
"It's a long story, but it's great to et the general here." Hai Hua happily stood up and pointed to the location of the sentry fort. "There is a sentry fort of the Catus in that direction. Soone is currently being held by a Catus expert. If the general is able to take action "
"I don't have ti to pay attention to so idle people."
"But that's Beth Cod's man." Hai Hua frowned.
"Beth Cod?" Comon opened his eyes wide, "What's his na?"
"Alan "
"Alan!" Comon couldn't help but laugh, "So he's here. I thought the system was out of order. This guy's signal source actually went so deep into the battlefield. Looks like I really underestimated him."
Hai Hua looked at him in confusion, "General, are you looking for Mr. Allen?"
'"Yes, this little scoundrel who accidentally slipped out of my finger. I'm looking for him everywhere. Thank you very much for the information, Second Lieutenant. Oh, I haven't asked your na yet?" Comon said with a smile, like a gentle boss.
Hai Hua stood upright and announced his na loudly. At the sa ti, he looked at Comon with Hsieh-yi's eyes.
"Second Lieutenant Hai Hua? So, how did you et Alan?"
Hai Hua didn't dare to hide anything and briefly recounted what happened last night. Comon listened and nodded, "In other words, if you don't et , you should report it to the higher-ups when you return?"
"Yes, General. There seems to be no need for that now." Hai Hua smiled and said, "General, if you take action, Mr. Allen's safety will be guaranteed."
"Do you think so?" Comon smiled and walked to the second lieutenant's side. He patted his shoulder and said, "I don't think so. You see, in order to enter the battlefield, I deliberately dressed myself up as a destitute fellow. Why is this all for our Mr. Allen?"
"Well, General, this subordinate doesn't know what you're trying to say." Hai Hua said awkwardly.
'"I an, I want to make sure that little villain dies on this battlefield. As for you guys, I'm sorry, but I can't let you go back like this if you have anything to do with him," said Comon with a beaming smile.
Hai Hua hadn't reacted for a mont, but at the corner of his eyes, he saw a few rays of light flashing out of Ke ng's hand. Behind him ca screams of pain. The second lieutenant turned around and saw his n being hit by beams of light. A dozen people died tragically on the spot. Hai Hua opened his mouth wide, and the cold wind poured into his mouth, causing his entire body to go cold.
"Why why!" Hai Hua roared and turned around, only to be pointed at by an exquisite and gorgeous pistol on his forehead.
Comon shrugged and said, "Actually, I like you guys very much. Loyal and enthusiastic. Unfortunately, it's just a little stupid, but for the sake of" goodbye, then. "
A gunshot rang out from the high ground, causing Hai Hua's body to tremble. The tactical helt exploded, and blood flowed out from the back of his head. He opened his eyes wide and collapsed. He wanted to reach out and catch Comon, but in the end, his finger only touched the gun. With a thud, the second lieutenant fell to the ground and looked at the sky with empty eyes. Then a shadow flashed by, and Comon stepped over his corpse.
Coming to the edge of the highland and locking onto Hai Hua's direction, Comon stretched and muttered, "Let's end this as soon as possible, so that I can return before Catherine asks for trouble. General Comon is a disciplined soldier, so he wouldn't do such a thing as leave the camp without permission. Right, Second Lieutenant?"
He looked at Hai Hua's corpse behind him and waved his two fingers to make a goodbye gesture. Then, he leaned back and allowed himself to charge down the dangerous cliff. Only when he was close to the ground did Comon suddenly display his hands and feet, and a fla of Origin Energy exploded beneath him, canceling out the falling montum. He lightly churned a few tis before easily landing on the ground. With another flash, he flew towards the direction where the sentry fort was located.
Belmore was sitting cross-legged above the sentry fort. He crossed his hands and held his chin. He looked down at the empty space with a complicated expression.
The open space beneath the sentry fort had already beco the battlefield of Alan and Hubble, and the two of them were fighting endlessly. Every ti the sabers and axes of the two sides clashed, a shockwave would erupt. The ground was blown up with stone powder. After sending away Second Lieutenant Hai Hua's team at dawn, the two of them clashed with each other straightforwardly. Up until now, apart from the Sentinel Castle, which was still shaking and standing on the spot, other items such as a few defensive low walls had been shattered by the impact of the battle between the two of them.
There was another strong shock.
Belmond's eyes were moving rapidly, barely keeping up with Alan's speed in the battle circle below. He could clearly feel that Allen's combat skills had been refined quite a bit since he ca back. Especially in the area of teleportation, his skills had improved at a trendous rate. Allen's movents were not only fast, but also agile. Using Regis as a comparison, one could tell that Regis was fast in linear motion, but he lacked change. However, Allen did not have any problems with this. At this mont, he was constantly moving around Hubble, greeting the Cato expert with his bloody saber after bloody saber. Allen's figure even appeared in several directions at the sa ti when he was dancing anxiously. At this speed, if he were to capture Ellen with the naked eye, he would definitely not be able to keep up with his speed.
Alan was extrely fast, but Hubble was at the other extre. The Cato expert gave up on competing with Allen. He used his desktop-sized axe to defend the front of his body and the rest of his body. If it wasn't for the fact that it was a fatal place, he would have used his armor to withstand Allen's attack. Allen's heavy saber was originally good at attacking, but under the tyrannical Origin Energy of Hubble and the innately strong constitution of the Catus, it was repeatedly bounced away, and only suffered so injuries that weren't light or serious.
As for Hubble, every ti he seized the opportunity, the beheader would sweep through the encirclent and slash out with his axe, and it would definitely be an earth-shattering attack. Allen avoided Hubble's onslaught by a hair's breadth with ease of movent. As soon as he pasted it on, Blood Hidden appeared from ti to ti, and he launched a fierce attack at an unparalleled speed. When the heavy saber fell into Allen's hands, it was completely contrary to his physical nature. The lightness of the blade was often accompanied by a mountain-like bombardnt. Just watching the battle made Belmore feel extrely uncomfortable. He could not imagine how Hubble felt when he was the target of the attack.
He only knew that even though Hubble had attacked less and defended more, his might had not diminished.
