Vera was dressed in a nun uniform, but her clothes were slightly different from ordinary nuns. A golden ribbon was embroidered on his shoulders, and a cross decorated with gemstones was on his chest to mark his identity as a Holy Maiden. This was her unique symbol. Vera walked into the study room without a trace of fireworks. The black and white nun clothes wore on her body were indescribably pure.

The intense sensation under the black-haired snow made Gills forget to breathe. His deep eyes were enough to make him willing to sink. If it weren't for Edward and Grall, Gills would have pounced on him with great difficulty, and it would have been a good kiss.

He took a deep breath and put himself on the seat with great self-control. "Miss Vera is indeed extraordinary. Just look at Miss and you can tell that Sir Edward's words are true."

"Good afternoon, Earl Gills." Vera raised the corner of her robe and bowed slightly.

Edward coughed dryly, "Miss Vera, please predict for Count Gills. There is no need to be too far in the future. Miss Vera should know what to do if she can prove sothing."

Vera nodded. She took a step forward and said, "Please look in the eye."

Gills stood up. He was much taller than Vera. He had no choice but to lean forward in order to level their heights, so he crossed half of the table with one face and stared at Vera blankly. From such a close distance, Vera was almost exposed to him, and even the fine fur on her face could be seen clearly. As Vera breathed, the expansion of her nostrils seed so charming.

Only then did the young count realize that the deep light in Vera's eyes was slowly spinning. On the back of her hand hidden in her sleeve, the Eye of Fate was quietly glowing with a faint purple light. The light in Vera's eyes was like a whirlpool, as if even her soul would be absorbed. After staring at him for a while, Gills felt dizzy. He shook his body and hurriedly supported himself with his two arms.

Fortunately, Vera's warning was over, and the light in her eyes cald down, letting Gills breathe a sigh of relief.

At least he didn't make a fool of himself in front of her. Gills thought.

"How is it, Miss Vera?" Edward asked softly.

Wei stretched out her hand, gently supporting Gills' cheek, and then slid down. "Tomorrow, my lord, watch out for sothing," he said, flashing past his weak shoulders, not his strong ones, until between his right palms.

"What is it?"

Wei stretched her neck and whispered in Gills' ear before retracting, "My work is done. Then there's nothing else, I'll leave first."

She always speaks straightforwardly and doesn't beat around the bush. Edward saw the reluctance in Gills' eyes and explained, "Every ti Miss Vera peeks into the future, she consus a lot of energy. The more important a person was, the more variables they would be involved in, and the more blurry the picture of the future would be. Miss Vera expended more energy than usual to see your future, count. Is that so, miss? "

'"Yes," said Vera, and Gills hurriedly said, "Butler Mace, please take Miss Vera down to rest."

"I have taken up too much of the count's ti today," said Edward, "and thank Lord Gills for taking the ti to receive us. Then I shall not disturb you."

Gills nodded absent-mindedly, so Edward left with Vera. After they had left, Glar closed the door and shouted, "Your Excellency, look at Sir Edward. This arrogant man is truly unforgivable for his kindness. In my opinion Your Excellency, your Excellency?"

Giles sat there motionlessly, as if his soul were out of his body. He shouted twice before the young count could react. Giles shook his head and said, "I'm a little tired today. Uncle Giles, go back first. I'll talk to you if there's anything else."

Grar took a step forward, but Gills' gaze suddenly beca harsh. He could only sigh and leave. "Damn Alan, where did you find a shitty Holy Daughter? She actually fascinated this brat Gills. This brat is really lousy. Isn't it just a woman who has already lost her head? Idiot! Idiot!" Gill said hatefully after he left the study.

After cursing a few tis, Glar turned to another branch of the corridor. On the other side of the corridor, Edward smiled and heard Grar's words. Vera gently pulled down his sleeve and said, "That Giles is not a good thing. I saw a terrible scene of him. Anyway, he is not a good person."

"Looks like you've seen a lot, Miss Vera." Edward smiled.

"He's just a diocre genius. His line of fate is very straightforward. This future is too easy to peek into. How could he be like him" Vera suddenly stopped when she said this.

Edward frowned. "Do you an Alan? What kind of future do you see in him?"

'His line of destiny is much more winding. It is not so easy to see. The only ones nearer are the paintings I gave him. As for the ones farther away, I have seen them before. But all I see is an eternal fla. I did not know before, but now I know that it is the power of destiny that prevents from seeing Allen's future.' Vera said calmly.

"How many variables are there in the future that I can't see through? I'm getting more and more interested in this young master now." Edward smiled.

Suddenly, Vera looked at him and the dark light in the depths of her eyes began to spin. Edward hurriedly said, "Stop, don't peek into my future. Don't worry, I don't have any ill intentions towards Alan. I'm just interested in him."

"It better be like this." Vera suddenly looked forward. "Soone is waiting for you."

"Who?"

As they spoke, they turned around the corridor and saw a black-haired woman leaning against the window, looking out of the castle. Hearing the sound of footsteps, she turned around and looked at Edward with uncertainty, "Are you Edward, Sir Edward?"

"Who are you?"

"My na is Jorah."

Vera whispered, "I'm leaving first."

Edward shrugged and bowed, "I heard Lord Allen ntion you, beautiful Miss Jorah. For a woman, your courage in the front lines of war is admirable. If there is anyone in this castle who deserves my respect, Miss Jorah must be one of them."

Jorah shook her head and smiled, "You speak more than Alan. What about him? Why hasn't he co back?"

"Lord Allen suddenly received an urgent ssage from the clan, asking him to return imdiately. That's why he told to rush over as soon as possible to manage the territory on his behalf."

Ruo La nodded and said, "Will you accompany for a walk?"

"It's an honor."

The two walked out of the room and arrived at a garden filled with flowers and plants. Jorah remained silent all the way, and Edward did not disturb her, but walked quietly with her. As he looked at the vegetation in the garden, Jorah suddenly said, "You must know him very well, since he thinks highly of you. Sir Edward, can you tell what kind of person Allen is?"

Edward smiled bitterly in his heart, thinking to himself, Ellen, you brat didn't tell that this noble lady in front of him has fallen in love with you. Now, I have to clean up your ss. On the surface, he said politely, "Lord Allen is also a man worthy of my respect. He cherishes his wings very much and does things fairly. It is my honor to work under him."

"Don't try to fool with such things. I want to know what kind of person he is privately. Has he already got a family?" Zora said angrily.

"Well, there isn't." Edward smiled bitterly.

"But I know that he has a girl called Lucy by his side. She is "

"You an Her Highness Lucy? She is Lord Allen's life-and-death friend. Their friendship is very deep."

"Your Highness? You said that Lucy is a Your Highness. Where did she co from?"

Edward felt a headache. Needless to say, what was it that Jorah was not deeply rooted in Alan when she ca to the root of the problem? He gritted his teeth and said, "Of course not, Your Highness, Miss Lucy is from an exotic country. She and Lord Allen had a perfect encounter, but in that encounter, they developed a friendship that surpassed their friends."

"So it's a princess. Of course, her status is much more noble than mine. No wonder " Ruo La bit her lips, feeling a little self-pity.

Edward said helplessly, "Lord Allen has warned that Miss Ruola is his most important friend at Ark Harbor. If Miss has any problems, please co and find . Lord Allen will definitely bla if he can't solve them."

"Friend. So I'm just an important friend." Jorah whispered and nodded, "I see, but there shouldn't be anything to bother you with. Well, after all the delay, I won't take up your precious ti, Sir Edward."

Edward nodded, "Then I'll take my leave. Please take care of yourself, Miss Jorah."

Jorah stayed in the garden after Edward left. She stared blankly at the round flowers and plants. She only felt that the usually pretty flowers looked so pale at this mont. She let out a low sigh and slowly left with many worries in her heart. Edward arrived at the square. The carriage was ready, and Milo and Vera had already boarded it. They were waiting for him to arrive.

He drilled into the carriage and Roger ordered the carriage to set off. In the carriage, Vera suddenly said, "That Jorah, you'd better keep an eye on her."

"What's the matter?" Edward raised his head.

"Ellen didn't ask you to take care of her. Soon, she will have so troubles. Big troubles." Vera said indifferently.
