"Caesar!"

In the morning, Baku's voice ca from the stronghold. Caesar frowned and walked out of the wooden house with the crystal spear in his hand. His wooden house was built on a high stone, and a wooden fence was built along the edge of the rock. Caesar held the wooden fence and looked down at Baku.

Baku shouted, "I've discussed it with a few brothers. We must return the favor to Sur. Caesar, we have to fight!"

Caesar sighed in his heart and waved his hand, "May I speak to you alone?"

Baku walked up and went into the room with Caesar. In the room, the sunlight outside the window fell on the Baimon ancestor's skeleton. This was their sacred object. Baku fell to the ground and worshiped the sacred object before he stood up.

"Baku, I understand your feelings. But it's not good for us to do so." Caesar said.

Baku's chest rose and fell, "Is it good to keep hiding here? That will only make the people of Sur look down on us. They will think that the Baymonds are cowards who can be bullied at will!"

"But that will only lead to war, a real war."

'"Wasn't it a war they started two years ago? Caesar, the war started two years ago. Don't you want to avenge your son? Or have you beco weak these past two years?"

Caesar walked over and his gaze gradually beca sharp. "Are you questioning ? Questioning the leader of this tribe? Who gave you such power, Baku!"

The crystal spear heavily paused, and with a muffled thud, Baku's heart skipped a beat. He lowered his head and said in a deep voice, "Baku will never doubt you, my leader."

Caesar sighed and put his hand on Baku's shoulder. "I'm like you, Baku," Caesar said, touching their foreheads. "My heart is filled with anger and sorrow, and I can't forget Gemma lying in my hand with her eyes closed. Yes, I see that almost every night."

"But hatred can't change the truth. More importantly, hatred will drag our clansn into hell. For the sake of our anger, are we going to drag the entire clan to their deaths? I can't do it, brother."

Releasing Baku, Caesar shook his head and said, "So, don't think about it anymore. Can you promise ?"

Baku lowered his head and said, "Alright, I promise."

After leaving the wooden house, Baku arrived at a room with a beast skull hanging on it. He pushed the door open and entered. This was his house. Two years ago, there was his joy and happiness in the room. Two years later, there was only grief and endless resentnt. There were four or five people in the room waiting for news of him, and when they saw Baku enter, they suddenly stood up.

Baku shook his head and said, "Caesar is no longer the Caesar he used to be. He has beco weak and has no will to fight. He refuses to fight, but I cannot do nothing. Sooner or later, the army of Sur will co, and only the city lord who killed them will be able to put an end to all this."

He lowered his voice and shouted, "Who wants to co with ! For the sake of avenging those bastards who killed our family! Even if the road ahead is hell, I will willingly embrace it!"

The n nodded solemnly, so this morning, a group of n quietly left the stronghold.

The next morning after Baku and the others left, Allen also set off from the camp and prepared to head to Sur City. Along with him, besides Belmore, Wilick and Edward, there was another magician, Jim. Jim's injured arm had already been treated by Father Miro, but the priest's field work was clearly inadequate, making Jim's sterilized bandaged arm look like a bloated hoof.

Allen and the others changed into clothes they had plundered from the adventurers to conceal their identities. Of course, it took Lucy and Adele a day to get the clothes on, or Alan and the others would have set off yesterday.

From what Jim said, the more developed industry in Sur City was cotton spinning. Farrs grow cotton outside the city, then hand it over to handicraft workshops in the city for processing after the harvest is harvested, and finally weave cotton and ship it to other cities for sale. It was one of Sur's main industries, and Edward suggested taking their clothes and disguising them as distant cotton rchants, which was a good entry point.

The only one who knew their identities was Jim, but looking at the way he looked at Alan and Belmond, the chances of the magician betraying them were almost zero.

Jim was familiar with the Ash Mountain Range. It seed that they had done enough before attacking the Baymond stronghold. They rested by the river at noon, and Jim sat alone and put bread into his mouth with his other hand, which he could move.

"Do you want water?" Alan handed over a kettle.

Jim hesitated for a mont before taking it. Alan patted him on the shoulder and said, "Mr. Jim, follow well. Very soon you will know that you have made a very wise choice. I will give you wealth that you did not expect when you were an adventurer, provided you are loyal."

The magician imdiately jumped up and clenched his fists against his chest. He bowed and said, "Jim is willing to serve you forever, my young master."

"Then, who is your master?" Alan asked.

Jim rolled his eyes and said with a smile, "Young Master Allen, who inherited a textile empire from a distant place, isn't he?"

"That's right, that's it. We'll have so factories then. I think you'll be happy to help manage them?"

Jim's potential in Origin Energy was limited. Such a person's growth to LV15 was already the limit. This could be seen from the fact that he was almost thirty years old, yet he hadn't even broken through to level 11. Rather than letting him be a half-baked combatant, it would be better for him to manage his own local business in the future, which was more suitable for Jim's job for the locals who were born and raised here.

Having seen Allen's well-equipped guards and imposing "knights", Jim knew that his magic talent was of no value to Allen at all. Now that he heard Alan's prompt, he quickly agreed.

Jim had unlimited expectations for this young master, most importantly because of the starship he had never seen before, which convinced him of Allen's unlimited potential. At the very least, he was much better than the one who had been killed.

The leaves of the forest suddenly shook. It was obvious that soone was approaching. Alan gestured and everyone gathered. Suddenly, a figure appeared from the other side of the river, led by Caesar. Caesar was also stunned when he saw Alan and said, "My friend, why are you dressed like this?"

"Brave Caesar, we are going to Sur City." Alan smiled.

Caesar vigilantly said, "What are you going to Sur City for?"

"Don't worry, we won't betray our friends. However, we are also rchants. Obviously, we can't do any business in the Ash Mountains." Alan said.

Caesar did not doubt this. Seeing the suspicion in his eyes dissipate, Allen asked, "Why did you co here? It's quite far from the stronghold."

"We're going to Sur City." Caesar said, "Baku and the others left yesterday. Soone said they were going to Sur. Caesar had to stop them from bringing disaster to the stronghold."

Adele frowned slightly, "You're not going to make it now, I'm afraid. And if you show up again, it'll only deepen the misunderstanding."

Caesar sighed, "I know, but I have to."

Alan said, "Well, we have to go to Sur anyway. If we see Baku, we'll persuade him to co back."

"If that's the case" Caesar threw out the crystal spear in his hand and it landed at Ellen's feet. "Please take it with you. If Baku refuses to co back, let him see it."

Ellen knew that this should be a token. He nodded and put away his spear. "I will return it to you with Baku."

"Thank you, friend."

Caesar looked deeply at Alan and returned with his clansn.

At dusk, on a high slope, Baku was staring blankly. Not far down the slope, one could see a tall and low building, which was Sur City. Strictly speaking, the size of Sur City could only be considered a town. However, the City Lord, Baron York, was overjoyed. He was unwilling to admit that his territory was only a large town, so he changed the na to City.

Sur City was protected by a defenseless defensive wall. The buildings in the city were not planned, so the streets were twisted and twisted from afar. Apart from a stone brick road leading to the City Lord's Mansion from outside the city, there was no other place in the city that could be called the Grand Dao. This was also the main road of Sur City. There were many workshops and shops on both sides of the main road. The rchants and influential people in the city were all gathered on this main road, so it was also the busiest area in the city.

As night fell, both sides of the main road were brightly lit. As for the edge of the city, it was pitch black. It was the slums of the city. The people there did not need such a luxurious thing as electric lights. Of course, the brightest lighting was the City Lord's Mansion. It was a three-story building, a little like a small castle. It had a main building, wing towers on both sides, and a small square surrounded by a low wall.

Baron York lived in the City Lord's Mansion, which was also Baku's target for tonight. Baku pointed at the target, and the five Baymonds behind him nodded. Then, a group of six people descended the hillside and took advantage of the night to head towards Sur City. Unfortunately, their assassination operation did not seem to be going smoothly. Not long after, the sound of weapons hitting each other ca from near the city wall, mixed with the shouts of soldiers.

Baku and the others were all captured when a group of knights and guards with fresh clothes and furious horses rushed to the scene. They were taken away by the city guards and thrown into prison awaiting trial. Their outco was almost predictable. If they weren't declared dead, they would be taken as slaves to work in the mining area until their deaths.
