Green Light Town.
The hotels and restaurants that Lim had run that day had now been handed over to Nick, a Barbarian who had recomnded himself to Alan. Nick's strength was so weak that he didn't even have the standards of a scavenger. However, because of Alan, he was able to survive in Green Light Town. The hotels and restaurants that Lim gave him when he left were enough for Nick's daily needs. As long as he wasn't too greedy, he could even save up a few years later to buy a house of his own in the wilderness.
Life is so simple and simple.
However, after the environnt in the Forgotten Realm started to deteriorate, Nick's business beca worse and worse day by day. Since Green Light Town was near the edge of the Forgotten Land, it was the least affected, but recently, so residents had also started to leave the town. Nick did not leave. Apart from reluctance to give up the hard-won inheritance of the town, he also had nowhere to go. There was no place for him in the wasteland, even if he had been Alan's guide for so ti.
Nick got up early this morning and was busy tidying up the restaurant to get ready for business. The slower the business, the more active Nick beca. This was his way of doing business. Even though this didn't make much of a difference in restaurant and hotel business, at least Nick didn't feel like he was idle.
Just as the hourglass was pointing at the dayti zone, a thin patch of sand had accumulated, soone opened the dining room door and walked in. "Welco," Nick shouted without turning back as he wiped the table.
"Hey, Nick, aren't you planning on leaving, old man?" A chubby Baltic raised his hand. There were no eyeballs on his head, and his eyes grew on his palms. This strange-looking fellow was very rare among Baltics, so almost everyone in town rembered him.
"Jesse, Jesse, Jesse." Nick held a rag in his hand and opened his arms to give him a hug. "What would you like? For the sake of your first visit, the first drink is free."
"That's great. Give a big al today."
"Oh? Have you been rich lately, Jesse? You're going to have a big al early in the morning, unlike you." Nick said as he walked to the kitchen.
Jesse sat down on the chair and whispered, "Actually, I'm here to say goodbye to you. Nick, although you're not a good person, the food you cook is much better than Lim used to be."
Nick paused, stunned for a few seconds, then turned around and forced a smile, "So this is your last visit?"
"I say, Nick, sell this place. How about we go to Gale City and start a new one?"
"No, Jesse." Nick shook his head. "It's been twenty years since I ca to the Forgotten Realm, you know? The outside world is no longer suitable for ."
"But as you can see, everyone is leaving now. It won't be long before Green Light Town is left with only an empty shell."
"I don't think so." "Lord Alan won't let that happen," Nick insisted.
"Please, Old Nick. How can His Majesty Allen care about this? He is in Demoic Ring City. Do you think he will appear in Green Light Town?"
Nick raised his head and looked out of the window. Sohow, he felt that the street outside the window seed to be brighter. Nick nodded and said, "Yes, he is now His Majesty Allen. But he used to live here, and I always thought he would do sothing about it."
Jessie spread out her hands and said, "Well, stubborn old thing, bring my dishes and I'll be on my way."
"Be right there."
When Nick turned around, he suddenly realized that the shadow beneath his feet was tilting and stretching. Jesse's soft shout ca from behind him. Nick suddenly realized sothing and quickly turned around. He saw that the window was getting brighter and brighter. Finally, golden sunlight shone through the window.
That's right, it's sunshine!
Nick was stunned. As he said, he had been in Green Light Town for more than twenty years. He was even accustod to the extre night climate of the Forgotten Realm. To Nick, the sunlight was like a familiar person in the depths of his mories, but his face was already blurry. He had already forgotten the feeling of the sunlight shining on his body. I forgot what the world looked like under the sunshine. But now, sunlight was shining through the window. It was not the light, but the sunlight!
"Hey, are you lying?" Jessie stood up and pounced on the window. He stretched out his open-eyed palm, and people ran out of the house one after another on the streets outside the window. The sunlight dispersed the severe cold of the past few days, and it illuminated people's eyes and even their hearts. Not long after, cheers rang out on the streets. Jesse turned around and said, "How could this be? The sun has actually risen in the Forgotten Realm."
Nick laughed, "Look, Jesse. I'm sure Lord Alan did it, no, Your Majesty Allen. Long live Your Majesty!"
He ran out of the street and shouted loudly. His emotions were susceptible to infection, so the remaining residents of the town shouted Allen's na.
At this mont, Alan, who was on the balcony of the castle, narrowed his eyes. Seeing the sunlight in the Forgotten Realm was also an unbelievable experience for him. It was as if a blind man had seen the sun again, and his mood was much lighter. On the edge of the balcony, Alice was leaning against the stone fence, watching the valley in the distance under the sunlight. The gloom of the valley was fading away, and everything was showing its bright colors in the sunlight. Alice closed her eyes and enjoyed her hair that was blown away by the wind.
"Is this good?" Alan walked to her side and placed his hands on the stone railing. "If I'm not mistaken, the special weather in the Realm of the Forgotten is to protect the Canon Black Gate, right?"
"Indeed. Even now, that side is still under protection." Alice pointed in the direction of the black door.
Sure enough, after the valley, the second half of the Forgotten Realm was still shrouded in darkness. '"I'm just removing so of my protection," said Alice. "Besides, it's been a long ti since I've been exposed to the sun. It feels good."
"I'm happy that you think so, so what's your next plan?"
"Let's first walk around and see what the world is like now. Then let's co back here and live for a few decades before we fall asleep." '"I will continue to wait," said Alice coolly, "for the man whom the Creator has spoken of to arrive. I shall complete my mission after giving him the Canon Black Gate. I suppose I shall have a good night's sleep then."
"Sounds like a good plan."
"What about you?" Alice asked.
Alan looked at the sky and could vaguely see the outline of a certain planet. "I ca to Agares to establish my own faction, a faction that can guarantee my freedom from interference. Now that it's done, I should return to my holand like you, et so familiar faces, and then make plans."
"Then you have to worry." Said Alice, but she didn't say anything to worry about.
Alan said "hmm", then the two of them quietly enjoyed the sunshine and the blue sky.
After staying in the Forgotten Land for two days, Alan returned to Demoic Ring City. The Black Gate swarm released by Alice had been completely evacuated. As compensation, Alice had set aside a piece of land with abundant resources for Alan on the basis of Death Valley. Of course, Ellen had given this land to Mitinus as a resource to expand the Burning Legion. Alan didn't want to expose the strength of the Burning Legion, so staying in the Forgotten Realm was a good choice. However, this matter could not last long, so Allen had the idea of those ownerless wastelands. Now was a good ti. The great wasteland and relic south of Mokedan had already settled down, and there would be no worries about the future. Together with the armistice agreent between Dobia and Demonic Shadow Empire, he could use this opportunity to explore those grey areas. In the end, even though Allen had a great family, Demonic Shadow Empire was a gift from Sbernak. Allen's foundation in the empire was limited, and it was difficult for him to suppress all his voices when his battle prowess reached the Paragon realm.
Therefore, to develop into a grey area would not only provide more resources, but also leave a path for oneself.
After returning to Demoic Ring City, Allen t with a few generals and asked Ramo to cooperate with Mockedan to intensify the developnt of the Dark Black Mountain Gorge, and to use the Black Gorge as a springboard to continue deepening into the wilderness. Alan agreed with Ramo's suggestion that bounties should be publicly offered to imperial adventurers and explorers, and that as long as they brought back valuable information, they could be evaluated and rewarded accordingly.
On the other hand, Devlin would be in charge of the Eastern Slt City. Although Dobia now expresses a truce, there has never been a word of honesty in the Baltic dictionary. Only strong enough was the foundation of everything. Alan did not want to underestimate the enemy because of the armistice agreent, thus giving Dobia so potential opportunities.
Apart from that, there were so matters that the empire needed Alan to handle personally. Even so, a day passed by when Alan finished dealing with the matters that had been screened by Ramo. Lastly, Ramo reported another matter to Alan.
"Resistance?" Alan narrowed his eyes. "To think that such an organization would appear so quickly. It seems that I don't have enough prestige for many imperialists."
"In ti, these idiots will find that fighting His Majesty is a dead end," Ramo said.
He didn't comnt on the flatterer and went straight to the point, "Do you know who they are?"
"They're just lucky guys." '"I have checked that the leaders and upper echelons of the organization are basically composed of the remnants of the three great clans that His Majesty wiped out. Furthermore, they took the opportunity of the fall of many cities on the southern front to attack His Majesty. Now, they have forcefully occupied the fallen Wales Ridge and Landdragon Castle, wanting to use this as a stronghold to develop their strength against His Majesty," Lamr said.
"Wales Ridge? Earth Dragon Fort?" Alan sat on the throne and said, "I seem to rember that the empire has armies in these two places."
"Yes, Your Majesty. However, after the swarm withdrew, our troops were either driven away or rebelled. There were many wars between the two places before you ca back." "My suggestion is to use direct force to suppress them," Ramo said. "This is a good opportunity to capture all the remaining mbers of the three families."
"That's right. Then I'll leave this matter to you, General Lamar."
Lamar knelt down and said, "Please give a few days. Your Majesty will soon receive the good news."
