Hearing his wife's calling once more, he recalled how disappointed she was with 'Primal Queen' about how lacklustre it was.
However, 'Pride Above Heavens' was enough to satisfy her.
To him, it led to questions about this 'Heaven' place. If Hell were an actual place in another realm, Heaven's existence shouldn't be out of the question. It was probably different from what he knew of in so way, though.
The Strike of Cataclysm was rooted to the spot, rattled by what he heard.
"The farrs here are AMAZING!"
Julian smacked the dull one's head with charged electricity this ti.
'Good speed, and enough power to knock out any Elcrain Grandmaster monster in one hit.' Good speed ant it was enough to touch both of them, whether they saw it coming or not.
"OW! Hey! What was that for?"
The half-naked man took the hit to the back of the head without visible damage.
'People from a mature worldcore are educated and trained differently. This is more like a Grandmaster and King.' The standards he was seeing were promising.
Galvar Rex might be Tagen-standard Emperor…Ebony needed an opponent of that calibre. It'd been getting harder to find a whetstone for his technical skills.
Tagen was now a buddy of his. They maintained contact over Eidolon these days. However, Tagen's ho in the Spirit Realm was specifically cut off from Eidolon as a form of protection.
Natives of the Spirit Realm were mostly under Eidolon's eye. That is a problem for many individuals.
Tagen was the subject…servant…person under one of the many Gods in the Spirit Realm. The Veiled Origin.
Tagen's Domain was 'blessed' to remove Eidolon's all-seeing eyes from his Domain. Hence, their communication wasn't daily as he wouldn't be contactable through Eidolon.
The last he heard from Tagen two years ago, the man was on a search quest for a rare natural ingredient or material he needed for his Physique.
Ebony had never stopped searching, purchasing and learning about natural treasures that would be useful for his Physique and Potential.
As expected, depending on the market was unreliable. The good stuff wouldn't be openly traded and individual needs were so specific that few to none naturally grown treasures would work for him in the exact way he wanted.
"Challenge unfair." He replied in order.
"Hmm?" The half-naked man was confused when the blind man suddenly spoke.
Haven't they noticed he was the Domain owner?
Despite the strength they'd shown, it seed like even the King wasn't technically a mage and had poor mana perception and non-existent Will perception.
"Old. Student." He turned to the Strike of Cataclysm after declining the student, "."
"I'm sorry, I don't follow." Machina Tempest Sovereign thought the farr Ebony didn't speak Gia well to form full sentences.
"My ho." He did, in fact claim the land Dusk encompassed. Being the master of this territory was one way to put it.
Yet that didn't appear to clear the man's confusion.
"Ehem…" Sophia cleared her throat, relieving him from staring at them any longer. He'd covered his eyes with a mirage and ice lenses.
Their perception wasn't all that great compared to the strength they'd shown, since neither appeared to have seen through the mirage he placed on both him and his wife. Unless this half-naked Grandmaster actually saw through the mirage but cares more about their battle proficiency.
While he couldn't sense any mana or skill activating, the Grandmaster's facial expression, line of sight and the slight shift in muscles had allowed Ebony to tell that his tone shifted after he looked at him more intently.
It was mildly surprising that an eye skill could be used on him without his detection. If this man was using it while he wasn't looking at him, Ebony wouldn't even have known a re Grandmaster used so form of detection skill.
"He is the owner of these lands, the partner of Harvest Proliferation you're here to et."
"A-ah, of course!"
"Co over." Finally, his translator spoke up.
Xin led them over to the side where they had a round table for break ti in the middle of farm work. The table for her snacks was big enough for all 5 of them to sit around. They just needed more chairs.
Ebony walked out of the mud fields, filled with water for this water elental fruit seed. He didn't use gravity repulsion to keep himself clean but after stepping out, the mud just slid off. Yet that didn't stop him from washing off while the ladies did the socialising.
The Strike of Cataclysm was busy pulling his friend away but the weaker man couldn't stop glancing around.
Ebony was listening throughout and he took his own sweet ti since his wife did the sa to him earlier.
The half-naked man was a gladiator.
Their people were from an Epic Worldcore that centres around arenas, duels, and performative monster slaying in the arenas.
As their Worldcore had a long history, its resources were fully extracted. It was simply a tourist spot that wasn't very popular. No resource, but also no real danger to wild monsters.
Galvar Rex ascended onto the evolutionary throne of an Emperor in roughly 600 years. That could be considered slow but also average. It really depends on the comparison.
After which, he decided to bring his family friends' descendants to another Worldcore. A Rare Worldcore he found with a team, but was also abandoned long ago. They weren't there for even a hundred years before coming to Elcra.
If nothing goes wrong, Galvar Rex will live on to a ripe age of 1300. He still had over 500 years to develop his Empire and nurture the next generation Emperor. Otherwise, his Empire would likely die along with him.
These people who originated from a low-density and purity mana Worldcore generationally did not have as long a lifespan as native Elcrians.
While there are few data points, Elcrian Emperors have an estimated lifespan from 1500 to 2000 years. Humans, at least.
Where do you find Elcrian Emperors besides those that left through the World Dungeon?
There used to be a couple of dying Emperors amongst the Ducal families. Those Nobles that evolved with the bare minimum at the end of their lifespan. However, none of those exist in the current generation as they'd all died out before Ebony even arrived on Elcra all those decades ago.
They were typically very weak and never even made it onto the list of 'Emperors' listed in the Empire of Ebbing Waves's Sovereign Temple of Heroes.
Ebony guessed that many Kings might choose to evolve at the barest minimum and possibly die during their evolution. The current booming generation did not have to make that choice. They were improving their skills faster and benefited from slightly greater baseline Potential at birth compared to older generations.
In any case, this pair was just here for friendly talks. To deepen their ties with Harvest Proliferation.
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
The Thunder Fossil Empire wanted another stream of high-quality food. You are what you eat was a principle that civilisations deeply understood. Their farrs might have better skills, but they currently don't have the superior understanding of the environnt's mana, soil and other conditions.
Within Galvar Rex's remaining lifeti, he can still see around 5 to 8 generations of offspring if his people were mostly humans. That was enough to see a significant Potential change between generations. To see what mana of this Worldcore did to his people. To see what evolutionary changes the essence-dense food can bring to the average person.
His people's average seed to be level 298 Masters, but they were all young to middle-aged since he took them in their youth. The older folks brought the average up but there were fewer of them. So it might be better to see their future average as Grandmasters. They had that much Potential at least.
As educated people from a mature world. Many would give birth to young nearer their peak, or middle-aged. That wasn't certain, and there were plenty of births from younger people.
Harvest Proliferation was already growing so extrely hard-to-obtain stuff but it would still take years before they were ready for harvest and sale.
Their current sales typically handle normal food. They weren't even as good as the best foodstuffs that the Three Great Farms produce. As tested by his wife, be it essence volu or purity, their crops weren't the best out there.
Even without academic studies, anyone could guess that essence volu and purity would affect the consur. Be it unseen Natural Potential or possible purification and mutation of one's Physique, the more the better right?
These people found out about Harvest Proliferation's other farm, the one on a different Worldcore. The robots there are so good that their skills are beyond most native farrs.
Not only that, but a team of his Numbers had already shipped a few shipnts of soil to their company's agriculture planet. Almost a hundred billion cubic tres of soil had been…stolen from Elcra. A mountain's worth of soil wasn't even noticed even without the planet's continuing expansion.
They moved the soil in small batches, making use of spatial storage while studying the changes in the soil over the years since the Worldcore's essence was changing fast.
While the soil will not fully take in Elcra's essence, and it cannot be maintained forever, they'd already seen beneficial effects. Ebony was probably going to change this inefficient shuttling once he or soone else figured out how to make a good fertiliser.
What they did so far already changed the surface of Harvest Proliferation's planet.
To improve what they had, the robots suggested many things. They were top-of-the-line agriculture bots, underutilised to the limit due to what they were working with. The planet's naturally produced essence was low in volu and purity.
He left the improvents to the interested Numbers. Sooner or later, he was scheduled for a visit.
The conversation led to business, Strike of Cataclysm pre-ordered various crops and rare fruits that would only be ready after decades at a premium.
Sophia gave them a discount as they officially established a trade partnership.
They were only promising Rare-quality crops at the mont.
While the seeds he can access were of higher quality, they cannot confirm that the seeds would grow to their full potential. The agriculture robots ntioned a list of growing condition problems and there were variances to note.
These robots could be powered by multiple energy sources, mana or electricity, which were the easiest to obtain. Sophia started up an elentary mana extraction and production area on the planet, which were barely enough to keep the robots running since the planet was not exactly producing much mana.
As for electricity, the robot's battery life was very short. The manufacturers of the robots didn't make a battery large enough for long operations. It was ant to be a backup energy source for the robots to recharge. Mana was a denser form of energy in most cases.
Rare-quality crops were barely enough to improve Thunder Fossil Empire's average baseline or physique after long term consumption.
The best part of Harvest Proliferation's services was to optimise their next crops according to their custors' needs. They weren't the only farming group doing this but it was not a common service in this Sector.
Ebony listened to the stuff they were looking out for outside of daily grains and crops.
They wanted lightning and fire elental ingredients. Instead of mana-dense ingredients, they wanted lifeforce-dense ingredients.
All the intense stuff.
For these higher-energy ingredients, they took much longer to grow. Instead of long term consumption, they might be able to be internally refined into potions and pills for Physique refinent and mutation.
The mont the Strike of Cataclysm took out pouches of seeds for Sophia to study, Ebony walked over and took one to inspect.
The alchemists on Elcra weren't terrible on a wide scale, but their potions and pills hardly worked on Ebony and his wife. Similar to how the dishes she cooks can't give them a significant buff.
Before this, he didn't even know that a large group of Nobles had their Physiques designed with certain alchemic recipes improved over the generations.
Outside of Elcra, this was also a common strategy. Every power has its secrets, and Physique-building recipes are one of the most important secrets.
'Lightning in volu and purity, fire in stability…so heat resistance but lightning to expand their mana or body's capacity to store lightning mana. Then a bunch of life force to strengthen vitality. That ans the lineage for Thunder Fossil Empire's main direction for physique are lightning based offence, fire-based warriors and a lot of vitality.'
There was a lot of overlap with his wife's build, minus them leaning a lot into lightning and electricity.
If this was from Galvar Rex, then Ebony already had a good guess what the Emperor's Physique was like.
He wondered if this was from their ho Worldcore or sothing Galvar Rex's new Empire developed in the past hundred or so years.
Ebony took so of each species of the seeds and handed over the rest to Sophia.
He was going to try to grow so to adapt to his mana within his Domain. They might be useful to Xin if he can grow them to Ancient quality…but that would take thousands of years if it were done naturally. Not to ntion these seeds were only Epic quality.
On a second look, the fire elental seeds might be ingredients for a potion with temporary effects rather than a Physique building one. It was a bit too weak even for modifying a baseline human. Perhaps an auxiliary ingredient.
He didn't know enough about alchemy to confirm that. He only had very good perception for mana and common energies.
While he sat there, had tea and cookies he was basically ignoring the two speakers.
Thankfully, with his blinded eyes it didn't look as rude that he was twindling the seeds and scanning their internals. Not that he cared if it looked rude.
That however, got the Gladiator, Kade to talk to him again. Making his wife watch him and giggle when the Gladiator rambled on about fancying a spar or wanting to learn from him while he remained silent throughout.
Ebony then took a ring from his wrist and placed it on the ground. "Pick it up."
He assud that would get him a mont of peace and silence but what it got were enthusiastic questions about what he ant, if he would accept a student or if he would show off a technique or two.
Without a reply, he just got to lifting and made a lot of grunting noises before showing signs of exertion.
"GRRRR!!"
….
"GAAHH!!"
….
"BWAHH!!"
"Shut up over there Kade!"
"I did it! I'm doing it sir!"
Xin's lips parted with so surprise and it wasn't just for stuffing another cookie.
Kade also had so form of enhancent that strengthened over ti.
"Alright alright, show us what you've got." Xin pinched the ring from the other end and tossed it back to Ebony. The ring dangled between her slender fingers which shocked the Gladiator to no end.
He was still thinking the two of them were farrs.
It was like he never heard their earlier introductions.
While she directed him to an empty plot of land, a woman's voice carried over. "Master! Master! I--oh, we have guests?"
Mira ran over, almost tripping. She was under orders to keep her heart running high while training it and her life force manipulation. The civilian Journeyman was not used to strong enhancents.
"Hey Ebony, I've cald down, we may try that again…" Muse floated over from her piano playing. She had to play it to calm herself down from their tests. In the beginning, she fainted regularly when he first showed her his attempts to deconstruct his soul. She fainted so much that his progress had been greatly slowed.
However, he had no choice if he wanted to depend on her help.
"An audience, perfect!" Gladiator Kade pumped his chest out. His skin was red from exertion.
In the end, the business talk was cut short and they rounded up around a small area to watch the spar.
"I'm really sorry about that bonehead of ours." Julian Victor rubbed the back of his head but didn't bow in apologies.
"It's fine," Ebony replied normally for once. He walked up to his wife, grabbed both her hands. Five rings shifted to her arms. Another 5 for each leg were placed.
'This should be enough of a handicap.'
"Are…do you want to punch him with the mass of a continent?"
"Don't augnt yourself." He gave her head a pat for her jokes.
"We don't have Manifestation of Natural Preservation copied well," Dusk comnted.
She can probably control herself well enough against a Grandmaster, right?
These were supposed to slow her down but if she augnted herself and used their mass for montum…
While Gladiator Kade was shadow boxing at the other side and getting cheers from Muse and Mira, and the couple appeared to be flirting, the side audience had a conversation of their own.
"Wh-what did I just hear, Miss Sophia? Mass of a what?" Julian Victor snapped his head to their guide.
"Ignoring it would be better for your heart."
