Ery felt as if another ember suddenly lit up in his chest. A familiar one filled with the power of darkness. It was a sensation he had not felt in so long ago he couldn't help but get lost in it.
"Are you giving up already?!" Cyrus shouted when he saw Ery standing still, doing nothing with a blank look on his face.
Receiving no response, he snorted. "It's really not fun anymore… Let's just end this!"
Saying those words, the Raven faction master cast his spell again. This ti, an even more powerful one that summoned a thunderstorm in the sky and manifested half a dozen lightning javelins at the sa ti.

With a wave of his hand, the six lightning javelins shot down and smashed into Ery from various directions, creating one massive violent blast storm that devastated everything in his surroundings.

Cyrus had an evil grin on his face as he watched the area in front of his eyes get completely destroyed without any remains.
It was an attack impossible to dodge and too powerful for a young magus to take head on.
Because of that, when he sensed there were no longer any traces of spirit energy in the area of explosion, the Raven faction master quickly assud his opponent was dead with his body completely disintegrating into dust.
However, just as he was about to fly north, he caught sothing in the corner of his eye and was shocked to see what it was. The young man was still alive and sohow had been hovering behind him.
"W-what?! How!?"
Cyrus gritted his teeth as a thought ca to his mind. There was only one thing that could explain what happened.

On the other hand, Ery was as caught off guard as the Raven faction master by the spell he had just cast. Although it took him a few seconds for him to rember using one of his most reliable spells, he was pleasantly surprised when he succeeded in casting it.

After the initial euphoria of regaining his darkness power again, Ery beca even more excited. Now he finally had a way to deal with his opponent. But just as he was about to start, the voice of the Khaos Guardian echoed in his mind again.
