Ery was currently faced with a difficult dilemma, caught between choices that were all equally important and dire. The first would save thousands of lives, the second saved soone he cared about, and the last was arguably to save the most important person on this mission.

He very well understood that his master and Silva would not have asked him to co if their situation was not dire. And from what they've written in the ssages they've sent, both of them sounded like they needed imdiate help. Of course, this realization only plunged Ery into a deeper dilemma.

Seeing that the battle between the acolytes and the Nightwalkers was about to start again, Ery knew that he had to make his decision now; so he did.

Mustering the spirit energy within his body, Ery perford a gesture with his hand and created a huge Spatial Gate before shouting loudly for all of the acolytes to hear. "Get in the portal right now!"

The sheer size of the portal, coupled with the fact that Ery had directly cast it without any specific coordinates, ant that the Spatial Gate led to an unknown place with the only thing that was certain being that it was another hundred miles further away from the compound.

What Ery was giving the acolytes now was basically ti.

With them teleported another 100 miles, there were only 150 miles left for them to traverse before finally arriving at the western gate. With the situation currently in his hands, this was all Ery could do for them.

Still, before he departed, Ery did not forget to hand the task of leading these acolytes to Mahinder.

"I am counting on you. Be safe!"

It took only three minutes for all of the acolytes to finally step into the portal. However, ti was not on his side as a single minute could an life or death for his friends and seniors.

Ery believed it was a risk needed to ensure those 1000 acolytes would reach safety, which was the main reason he and the others were here.

Imdiately after, Ery's figure disappeared as he cast [Blink], arriving on top of the ruins of one of the tallest buildings in the area.

There, he waved his hand and opened a Spatial Gate that would return him to a place a few miles outside of the compound. Stepping out of the gate, Ery quickly tried to sense the whereabouts of his master.

Before he could do so, his attention was distracted by another ssage. He quickly checked it and to his surprise, it ca from Headmaster Delbrand, and was addressed to everyone in the group to receive.
