While all of these are happening, the target of this possible assassination is happily humming an old tune while letting his treasured sword improve even more as he allows it to absorb the abundant life force still filling the surrounding of the Forbidden Zone, multiple notifications from the guide appearing right in front of him notifying him of his weapon’s advance.

[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword is continuously using its weapon skill (Domain of Absorption) to absorb the ambient life force in the environnt. Detected a drastic increase in the mastery of the ntioned weapon skill]

[The ascender already reaches the limit of stats for the current floor, due to this, the life force absorbed by the Evil Fang Sword will go solely to the weapon, increasing its rate of growth]

[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword has leveled up]

[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword has leveled up]

[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword has reached a level cap, the ascender needs to fulfill all the requirents given in order to promote the growth-type equipnt to the next grade]

[Detected a significant boost of the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword basic effects]

After the series of notifications ended, Azrael then decided to check for whatever requirents it is that the guide is talking about in order to promote his treasured weapon to an S-grade one, sothing that he would be in for quite the shock once he read about it.

[Evil Fang Sword (A-Grade Weapon, Upgradeable)]

[A Sword that is forged with the bone of the Evil Star Wolf rather than the fang that is described in its na. Its fang is used rather to sharpen this bone to a degree that it can cut through cold iron with extre ease. This sword has an inherently evil aura to it, causing any inexperienced ascender to feel quite uncomfortable just by being around it.]

[Current Level: 20 (Max level for A-Grade equipnt reached, complete all the requirents to upgrade the weapon to S-Grade)]

[Weapon Skills: Domain of Absorption (Interdiate Mastery Level 7)]

[Usage Requirent: Blood-bound individual]

[Effects: 60% strength, 60% agility, 30% stamina, 30% dexterity, 3% lunacy, Improves the efficiency of life force absorption by 20%]

[Weapon Promotion Requirents: Complete the list of tasks below

1. Subjugate an Epic-class Monster and absorb its Life Core (0/1)

2. Complete a Forbidden Zone Quest (0/1)

3. Possess or acquire at least three hidden stats (4/3)

The equipnt: Evil Fang Sword will not be upgraded to S-grade as long as all three of these requirents are not completed.]

Reading through the requirents, Azrael doesn’t really find it all too troubleso to accomplish them, especially given that he already gone and did the two requirents he has yet to complete just now, the only thing preventing him from upgrading the Evil Fang Sword to S-grade being ti constraint, as well as the fact that there’s no more Forbidden Zone in the second floor for him to complete a Forbidden Zone Quest.

’Well, I’ll cross the bridge when I get there...’ he thought to himself as he already felt too satisfied with the results of this hunting, where he initially just wants to earn so more pocket money for his long-term expedition, yet now being able to acquire loot probably more than enough to sustain him for a normal human life ti.

As he starts preparing to leave without packing anything as everything within the Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower’s domain as well as the vicinity around this place is populated with nothing but amalgams which clearly doesn’t have any useful part in their bodies, making it so that there’s just nothing that he will bring back to the city at all.

Moving outside the thick covers of the towering trees in the vicinity of the Eternal Flower’s domain, the young man couldn’t help but wonder what date it is now, seeing that there’s not a single change in the sky from before he entered the Forbidden Zone, the heavens in its high noon with the sun shining down with near scorching heat right on the zenith of the sky.

"Did I fought against that flower for that long?" musing to himself as he continues walking, now finally finding a familiar path towards the city, Azrael asked, looking ahead of him as he saw a familiar silhouette of the city guarding the ascenders from this perilous outside area, the gate still open and welcoming, waiting for the ascenders exploring outside to co back.

As he passes through the towering black gate being the only access for all ascenders to the outside, Azrael couldn’t help but wonder whether the store owner still has his item on him, after all, only the tower itself knows how long he stayed on that forbidden domain, which seems to alter his perception of ti given that he is extrely sure that he only fought with the Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower for a good couple of hours at most, and yet it seems that at least a day passed outside already.

"Hey boss, do you still have my items?" reaching the familiar establishnt he trusts with his trades ever since he ascended to the second floor, the young man asked as he saw the face of the middle-aged store owner standing with a bored face right behind the counter, shocking this man awake as he heard the voice of the young man.

"Huh? The fuck you an I still have your item? I already gave you all that I managed to buy this morning, right? I also reminded you that the last remaining ones will be delivered by tonight, is there sothing wrong with your head kid?" looking confused at this custor of his, the store owner asked as he eyes the young man in scrutiny, wondering if there’s sothing that happened to him while exploring and hunting outside.
