EX-Grade Ability Card: Tower Ascension with My Absolute Restoration Chapter 51: Abyssal Rot
And just as he mulls over this fact, the very sa azure floating screen he expected to appear in his face so ti later already pops up in front of him, bearing the notification that he expects.
[The ascender already reaches the limit of stats for the current floor, due to this, the life force absorbed by the Evil Fang Sword will go solely to the weapon, increasing its rate of growth]
[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword has leveled up]
[Detected that the equipnt: Evil Fang Sword is continuously using its weapon skill (Domain of Absorption) to absorb the ambient life force in the environnt. Detected a drastic increase in the mastery of the ntioned weapon skill]
[Detected that an equipnt’s weapon skill: Domain of Absorption (Evil Fang Sword) has leveled up]
After reading the couple of notifications that popped up in front of his eyes, he then decided to open his information to check how these affect his current strength.
[Domain of Absorption (Basic Mastery Level 3)]
[Current Level: Basic Mastery (Capable of taking away life force from any opponent within ten ters of the user, the rate of absorption is about three in ten thousand of the target/s’ overall life force per second, and can be stopped if the target/s has a skill with a Basic Body Mastery passive skill on it)] (A/N: Omitted the description since nothing changes anyways, saves words and adds progress for the Chapter that way, will include description again when there are changes)
[Evil Fang Sword (A-Grade Weapon, Upgradeable)]
[Current Level: 5 (Reach level 20 to upgrade the weapon to S-Grade)]
[Weapon Skills: Domain of Absorption (Basic Mastery Level 1)]
[Usage Requirent: Blood-bound individual]
[Effects: 28% strength, 28% agility, 14% stamina, 14% dexterity, 1.4% lunacy, Improves the efficiency of life force absorption by 10%]
After reading through the current effects of both the Evil Fang Sword and its own weapon skill, Azrael couldn’t help but nod in satisfaction as this is quite the significant increase despite the seemingly small improvents in terms of nurics, his strength improving once again, sothing that he can clearly feel.
’Now it gives more chance to beat up that Epic Monster, right?’ the young man thought to himself as he clenches his fist to feel the improvent of his strength, not even taking his ti to get used to it as he felt that he is already so in control of his body that he doesn’t need to spend ti to adapt from this sudden increase in strength, a proof to that being the fact that he can still exert the exact amount of force he wants with each of his swings and strikes.
"Great, now ti to continue the hunt..." as he thought of that, he couldn’t help but look at the weirdest place that he have the opportunity of chancing upon in his entire ti in the tower, this being a place filled with flora rather than fauna, a verdant green infestation eating away the life from everything it touches, these small plants covering everything from the land, the trees around it and even so of them seemingly devouring the skies as they float in the air, seemingly unbothered by the existence of sothing called gravity.
And right in the middle of this mystical, yet still sohow terrifying sight, a towering plant of titanic proportion stands tall and proud, the massive, gigantic trees in the surroundings paling in comparison as they are barely half of this flora’s height, making Azrael wonder just what sort of plant is capable of growing this tall even with the help of the tower’s divine properties.
"Don’t tell that that is..." while muttering to himself, having a bad premonition about the things going to happen from this point forward, his words were interrupted as another floating azure screen, a notification from the guide, pops up in front of him.
[Detected that the ascender discovers a Forbidden Zone. Depending on the level and strength of the monsters in the Forbidden Zone, its discovery after the ascender got out of it will grant the ascender/s who chanced upon it with nurous great treasures.]
[The ascender encountered the S-Grade Forbidden Zone: Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower’s Domain]
[The chance of Return Crystals working is decreased to one billionth percent]
[The nearby area is affected and will be transford into the Forbidden Zone’s domain, contact outside the domain, as well as entry of outsiders, exit of individuals inside, and transfer of equipnt and items from the two previously ntioned party is completely prohibited until the Forbidden Zone is conquered or the challenger inside it is defeated in any way]
[Detected that the ascender is now sealed inside the Forbidden Zone: Abyssal Rot Eternal Flower’s Domain. Now granting the ascender the right of a challenger]
[Detected that the ascender acquired the right of a challenger for this Forbidden Zone. Now issuing a Forbidden Zone Quest]
[The Plague Doctor (S-Grade Forbidden Zone Quest)]
[The Eternal Flower was once a massive living flora worshipped by locals of this forest, reigning as a benevolent god that grants its people with endless health and prosperity. However, no matter how much it is worshipped as a god, it is still, in so sense, mortal in nature, aging despite the rate being far slower than normal mortals; this rate of aging further increasesas it continues to grant its miracle to its subject.
Now at the end of its life from all the grace it has given to its people, the Eternal Flower sought to reclaim its rightful ti to live by resorting to one of its innate abilities, the Abyssal Rot, to completely alter and corrupt an individual’s life form before being absorbed back by it, leaving the target of its ability to turn into a grotesque amalgam both alive and dead at the sa ti]
[Mission/s: Subjugate the corrupted Eternal Flower through every ans possible]
[Rewards: Guaranteed rewards include Unique Active Skill: Flora Manipulation and Unique Passive Skill: Absolute Poison Immunity, granted to the top three contributors of this quest; other rewards will be granted depending on the contribution of all the challengers who join this quest]
"Mhm... and my cursed luck, that massive thing just has to be the Abyssal Rot they are talking about huh..." reading through the absurd amount of notification that just popped up, Azrael mutters to himself with a helpless smile on his face, yet despite his seemingly helpless and troubled state of mind, he is already looking up eyeing the towering flora right in the middle of this forest, already thinking of ways to deal with it for good.
