"From today on, I'll be a teacher at Kuoh Academy and the advisor for the Occult Research Club."

Azazel sat in the chair that originally belonged to Rias, tilting his head with a smirk. "You can call Sensei Azazel, or you can just call Azazel. Either works."

"Wait... I won't question my brother's decision," Rias began, looking at Azazel with a look of utter helplessness. "But having the you show up as a high school teacher? Isn't that a bit absurd? Besides, I never said I needed an advisor."

"Too late for that. I've already been hired," Azazel said, spreading his hands as if the matter were a fait accompli.

"Hired?" Rias's eyes widened. "How is it that I'm only hearing about this now?"

Kuoh Academy was her territory. While a new teacher joining the faculty wasn't usually sothing she monitored closely, the employnt of the leader of the Fallen Angels was sothing she definitely should have been inford about.

"When I was discussing things with Sirzechs earlier, Sona happened to be there. She's the one who handled the paperwork and arranged the position for ," Azazel explained casually.

"Sona?" Rias felt a vein throb on her forehead. She forced a smile and said, "So, I really was the last one to know?"

"Don't look at . You'll have to take that up with her," Azazel replied with a shrug, looking like he didn't have a care in the world.

Rias imdiately contacted Sona. "Hello, Sona?" she asked aggressively. "What exactly is going on with Azazel?"

"Azazel?" Sona was silent for a second before answering. "Lord Sirzechs said that if I didn't make arrangents for Azazel, he would let my sister, co to Kuoh Town to stay for a while instead."

"Rias, Tsubaki is calling for sothing, so I have to go!" Sona cut the transmission in a hurry. It was clear she felt guilty and wanted to avoid being held accountable, so she ended the call as quickly as possible.

"I see how it is. They were afraid I'd refuse, so they decided to act first and ask for forgiveness later," Rias said, laughing out of sheer frustration.

Her brother, clearly understood that she wouldn't want Azazel entering Kuoh Academy, let alone intervening in her club, so he simply bypassed her authority and settled the matter himself.

"Rias Gremory, you're not as decisive as your brother claid. Why be so rigid?" Azazel said lazily.

"Having a teacher like at Kuoh Academy is a total win for you, no matter how you look at it. Grigori hasn't found any interesting Sacred Gears lately, so I might as well have so fun with you lot."

"Are you here to teach, or just to play?" Roy asked, a look of amusent on his face.

"I can do both at the sa ti," Azazel replied naturally. He then turned his attention to the others, his gaze sharpening.

"Kiba, you're at a critical point. You're just a hair's breadth away from reaching your Balance Breaker. I'm truly curious what kind of surprises your Sword Birth will bring ."

He then looked at Gasper, who was too terrified to speak. "Gasper, as for your Forbidden Balor View, you need to learn control. The thod Roy gave you is solid. Even I would recomnd it. Just keep working hard at it."

Suddenly, Azazel pulled out a sword and tossed it to Irina. "Take this. Since you're a Reincarnated Devil now, you can't use your original Holy Sword. This is an artificial Sacred Gear I developed. Use it for now."

Irina caught the weapon in surprise, examining it carefully. As a forr Holy Sword user, losing her weapon had made her weak; now, she finally had sothing to bridge the gap.

Finally, Azazel's eyes fell on Akeno. "As for you... you just need to embrace the other power within you. Once you do, your strength will reach a whole new level."

"I don't need your help with that," Akeno snorted coldly. She knew he was referring to her Fallen Angel heritage, a part of herself she despised because of her mother's death.

"Rejecting your own blood talent isn't a wise choice," Azazel said with a smirk. "Your perseverance is admirable, but it'll be a sha if you beco a drag on your friends while they all move forward."

Akeno's complexion darkened.

"Think it over. My door is always open if you want advice," Azazel said, moving on to give pointers to Koneko, Asia, and Xenovia.

...

While Roy could have guided them, he had to admit that Azazel was a far superior teacher.

With an old guy like him as a ntor, the strength of Rias's peerage grew at a visible rate. The Sacred Gear users, in particular, beca far more proficient under his guidance.

Roy stayed in DxD for another half a month, watching his friends grow stronger.

Finally, using the excuse of going out to practice again, he prepared to depart for the next world.
