Hearing Roy's words, Vali looked unmoved, "I am looking forward to fighting with you, and even more looking forward to having the ultimate battle with you."
"It doesn't matter if I warm up with others before our fated battle. So, which of you will be my opponent?"
Vali scanned Azazel, Sirzechs, Serafall, and Michael with sharp eyes.
Among the people present, other than Roy, the only ones he could regard as opponents were these guys. The rest of them were not worth his ti at all.
Roy silently pressed his outstretched right hand to his ear, and a magic circle erged, forming a communication spell. Roy quickly connected with the person on the other side and explained the situation at Kuoh Academy.
"Yes, Vali is here."
"He defected, joined a terrorist organization, and now he is planning to fight us."
"You an Azazel? He's in a very bad state. It looks like he's about to have a heart attack because of Vali."
"You want to co over, right?"
"Okay, I'll wait."
Vali watched Roy talking with the person on the other side quietly and did not act imdiately, giving Roy enough ti.
Roy put down his right hand, and the magic circle dissipated.
"Roy..."
Azazel looked at Roy with a speechless expression. Roy had described him as if he was about to drop dead on the spot.
"I just said it casually; don't worry about it."
Roy waved his hand, looked at Vali, and said, "Wait a minute. Your opponent is on the way and will arrive soon."
Because Kuoh Academy was protected by a barrier, crossing it required a long distance teleportation circle, which took ti to prepare. The group of mages from outside was able to teleport in quickly because of a preditated plan, catching the alliance forces by surprise.
"Really? Then I'll wait a little longer."
Vali said lightly, and then continued to wait on the spot as if there was no one else around.
However, Vali felt that Azazel was looking at him with weird eyes, which made him feel uncomfortable.
Now that he had decided to leave at this ti, he was naturally ntally prepared. Vali thought it was Azazel blaming him. After all, his decision to defect during the tripartite summit was based solely on his own preferences. In Azazel's eyes, it was very willful behavior.
So, he didn't take it too seriously but silently waited for the opponent Roy had ntioned.
People who could be called opponents by Roy should not be weak. The fact that the opponent was not Roy really disappointed Vali. However, at least they could provide a warm-up match...a dessert before the main course.
In order to beat Roy, Vali had been training desperately these days. He had gained a deeper understanding of the Juggernaut Drive he had touched upon before.
He believed that with his current strength, he would not lose to Roy. What he enjoyed was fighting and that passionate feeling. If Roy was stronger, he would be happier.
"Katerea, are you planning to launch a coup here?"
Since Roy was handling Vali's side, Sirzechs continued to focus on Katerea and asked seriously.
"Sirzechs, are you still thinking of persuading to surrender?"
Katerea laughed and said, "You are more naive than I thought."
"Soone like you really doesn't deserve the na Lucifer!"
"No, I just want to make sure."
Sirzechs sighed and said, "If it's not necessary, I really don't want to see such a thing happen, especially since you have the blood of the Old Maou."
"Hypocrite."
Katerea sneered and said, "Then I'll tell you here that almost all the people from our Old Maou Faction decided to assist the Khaos Brigade."
"Launching a coup here, killing you and Serafall, and regaining the nas of Lucifer and Leviathan is our first step in changing the world."
"Khaos Brigade?"
Hearing this strange na, even Michael couldn't help frowning.
On the contrary, Azazel couldn't help but grin and explained, "Not long ago, We noticed a suspicious group."
"This group has gathered dangerous elents from the our factions, including holders of Sacred Gears who have reached Balance Breaker, and even a few holders of Longinus."
"I heard that you have been decadent for a long ti, and you only know how to hide in the research room tinkering with Sacred Gears, but I didn't expect you to be quite well inford." Katerea snorted coldly.
"I just like to study Sacred Gears; it doesn't an I don't care about other things. Besides, I have people who are capable."
Facing Katerea's ridicule, Azazel just shrugged.
"That's right, the Khaos Brigade is exactly such an organization."
Katerea said with a loud voice, "Our goal is to reshuffle this long decayed world and form a world under a new order."
"She really tries to make herself sound noble."
Azazel taunted rcilessly, "It's just a group of extrely vicious terrorists who don't understand peace and want to cause damage for the sake of destruction and chaos."
"Every reform will be labeled like this."
Katerea said indifferently, "As long as we succeed, no one will call us terrorists."
"Isn't history books written by the victors?"
There was a deep look in Sirzechs's eyes.
"Katerea, stop. You can't succeed. There is no benefit other than unnecessary death and injury."
Serafall dissuaded her.
"Stop pretending."
Katerea looked unmoved, "Didn't you also seize the title of Maou in this way? Our Old Maou Faction is just paying you back in your own coin."
"But, this is clearly different!"
Serafall retorted.
At that ti, they seized the title of Maou because it was what the people wanted. If people from the Old Maou Faction continued to be in power, the Devil race would have perished sooner or later.
"She's here."
At this ti, Roy suddenly spoke.
The appearance of a magic circle on the ground interrupted the few people who were arguing.
Seeing the familiar magic circle, Vali couldn't help being stunned for a mont, and then his expression beca very colorful.
"Va-kun, you've been a naughty boy!"
Inside the magic circle, a figure appeared and called out in such a voice.
