The next day—
Roy awoke to find Fubuki had already prepared breakfast.
"Roy, you're awake! Just in ti for breakfast!" Fubuki, wearing a white apron, greeted him with a smile. The sight was surprisingly heartwarming.
Even Roy had to admit, Fubuki looked incredibly charming at that mont.
"You'll make a wonderful wife soday, Fubuki," he said with a smile and a nod.
Fubuki blushed. No one had ever complinted her like that before.
After breakfast—
Roy relaxed on the sofa, sipping his tea.
Fubuki, seeing his good mood, decided to seize the opportunity. "So, Roy… how are you feeling?"
Roy chuckled, amused by her question. "I'm feeling great."
"Then…" Fubuki's voice was filled with anticipation.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. Do you still want to beco stronger?" Roy asked with a smile.
"Of course!"
"Then be patient. I'll return your powers when the ti is right." Roy stretched and leaned back on the sofa.
"Co and give a shoulder rub."
"Oh, okay." Fubuki quickly complied. She knew that regaining her powers and becoming stronger was her priority.
Roy, enjoying Fubuki's service, wasn't going to end this pleasant arrangent quickly. He would enjoy it for a few more days.
"Fubuki, peel a grape."
"Okay, coming right up!"
"Fubuki, make so tea."
"Right away!"
For the next few days, Roy reveled in being pampered by Fubuki. And Fubuki, after spending ti with him, had shed her cold and aloof deanor.
The Fubuki he had first t had been on the verge of succumbing to her darker impulses. In the original story, it had been Saitama who helped her.
This ti, it was Roy.
Without his intervention, Fubuki might have eventually turned into a monster herself. After all, it wasn't uncommon for humans to transform into monsters in this world.
But now, there was no such danger.
"Breaking news! A large number of Demon-level monsters have appeared in J-City. A-Class Rank 19 hero, Lightning Max, A-Class Rank 10 hero, Stinger, and other S-Class heroes are en route…"
The news report on TV caught Roy's attention. He was lounging on the sofa, his head resting on Fubuki's lap, enjoying the fruit she was feeding him.
"Monsters again, huh?"
"Yes," Fubuki confird. "They're Deep Sea Clan monsters. Apparently, a large number of them have erged from the ocean."
"I see. It's been a while since I've had so action. Ti for so hero work." Roy sat up and stretched.
"With Roy there, I'm sure this disaster will be resolved quickly," Fubuki said with a gentle smile.
"You've beco quite the caring wife lately, Fubuki," Roy teased.
Fubuki blushed. Spending these past few days together, she found herself becoming increasingly obedient to Roy.
Roy even suspected that if he asked her to warm his bed, she wouldn't refuse.
"But you're wrong. You're going to deal with the Deep Sea Clan, Fubuki. Not ."
"?" Fubuki was startled, then her face lit up with excitent. She understood what Roy ant.
"Heh, let's go." Roy chuckled.
"Okay! I'll go get the car…" Fubuki stood up.
Roy, however, stopped her. "No need for that. We'll just teleport."
Before Fubuki could react, they vanished from the villa.
They reappeared in the night sky above J-City.
——
Fubuki looked around, then gasped as she realized they were airborne. She instinctively wrapped her arms around Roy like an octopus.
Roy didn't mind the beautiful woman clinging to him.
Dark clouds filled the sky, making the night seem even darker.
A light rain began to fall, and the city below was eerily silent.
Except for the repeating ergency broadcast—
"Ergency alert! Ergency alert! Disaster level in J-City has been upgraded from Tiger to Dragon! All citizens are advised to evacuate imdiately…"
The repeated warnings indicated the severity of the situation.
Unlike in the ani, the Deep Sea King wasn't alone. He had brought an army.
Deep sea monsters were nurous, far more so than land-based monsters.
This ti, the Deep Sea King, intending to conquer the surface world, had brought an army of thousands of Deep Sea Folk.
——
This explained the sudden upgrade from Tiger to Dragon-level disaster.
The Deep Sea King's invasion, with thousands of Deep Sea Clan monsters, was beyond the capabilities of average heroes.
J-City was in chaos. The only fortunate thing was that the Deep Sea Clan wasn't adapted to land; their movents were slow, giving the citizens ti to evacuate.
The heroes were providing cover for the evacuating civilians, but they couldn't hold out forever. They would eventually be overwheld.
The Hero Association, seeing the situation, was also frantic. This wasn't like previous monster attacks.
The Deep Sea Clan was a civilization. If they weren't dealt with quickly, they might actually succeed in occupying human cities.
The Hero Association had already contacted several S-Class heroes.
Even Roy received a call.
"Hello?"
"Is this Mr. Demon Lord?" The Hero Association receptionist sounded anxious.
"Yes."
"Thank goodness! We need your help! J-City is under attack from a large number of Deep Sea Clan monsters! If we don't act quickly…"
"I'm already in J-City with Blizzard of Hell. I'll leave this to her," Roy said, then hung up.
The receptionist was stunned, then quickly relayed the ssage to her superior.
——
The higher-ups at the Hero Association were overjoyed to learn that the Demon Lord was already in J-City.
"That's wonderful! Few heroes were willing to respond to this disaster. We didn't expect Demon Lord to go there on his own initiative."
"Looks like Director Sitch made the right decision."
"While other heroes like Genos and Bang also agreed to go, they won't arrive for a while. It all rests on Demon Lord now!"
"Indeed. I hope he can resolve this."
The higher-ups discussed the situation, optimistic about the outco.
Suddenly, a small girl with green hair, levitating in the air, spoke up.
"Hey, hey! What did you just say? Fubuki went to that dangerous place with that jerk?" Tatsumaki looked at Sitch, incredulous.
The room fell silent.
Everyone knew that Fubuki was Tatsumaki's younger sister.
And now, her sister was in danger, with another man. Tatsumaki, with her extre sister complex, wouldn't stand for it.
As expected—
Before Sitch could say anything, Tatsumaki stord out of the room, creating a powerful gust of wind that sent the others sprawling.
They picked themselves up, looking at each other in dismay.
Tatsumaki was the Hero Association's trump card, their ultimate defense. They rarely allowed her to leave headquarters. That's why she hadn't been assigned to this mission.
They hadn't expected Fubuki to be in J-City. And with Tatsumaki's personality, no one could stop her from going there.
So, they didn't even try. They knew it would be futile.
Tatsumaki, leaving the Hero Association headquarters, flew towards J-City at incredible speed.
anwhile—
Roy hung up the phone and looked at Fubuki, who was observing the city below with a worried expression.
"Roy, shouldn't we do sothing? The heroes seem to be struggling," she said.
In J-City, the Deep Sea Clan monsters were relentlessly attacking, while the heroes were retreating, providing cover for the evacuating civilians.
Even S-Class Rank 17, Puri-Puri Prisoner—was struggling against the Deep Sea King.
It was clear he was outmatched.
