"Hero Faction?"
"Yes. I am the leader of that faction."
'This is the first ti I heard about this faction.'
That was sothing Jin heard for the first ti. Not only did the boy in front of him just look a little older than him, but he also called himself the leader of this Hero Faction.
To be honest, Jin didn't know about this boy called Cao Cao at all. He only approached him because Issei was with him in the park. He needed to be careful dealing with an unknown force like him.
"What is this Hero Faction? I still can't understand your explanation from earlier."
Alas, his little brother was a little bit too pure than him and asked Cao Cao without any ulterior motive. Thanks to him, Jin didn't need to ask Cao Cao and could focus on observing his words.
'Good job, Issei.'
"Hmm, let explain it again then. Hyoudou Jin had also just arrived, so I don't mind explaining about Hero Faction if that can make you join us."
Cao Cao began to explain what Hero Faction was and why it operated. First of all, their mbers were all pure humans. Most of them were once used by the other factions in Supernatural World before they joined the Hero Faction, or so was what Cao Cao said.
Secondly, as much as to Jin's surprise, all mbers were either Sacred Gear, Holy Sword, or Demon Sword, and even Cao Cao himself was a wielder of one of the thirteen Longinus. That ant all humans in Hero Faction were soone who had weapons similar to Issei.
'Then why did he invite ? Did he mistake as one of the Sacred Gear wielders?' Jin thought, but he kept silent as he listened to Cao Cao's explanation.
Cao Cao proudly said Hero Faction's motto was to fight and defeat evil beings that hard humans.
"What classifies those evil beings?" Jin couldn't help but ask Cao Cao for this one.
If it was by the standard of the world, then Jin was evil. An evil human who made girls his personal cows to drink milk from. He was by no ans a Saint of a Hero. If he joined the Hero faction, that would be such a good joke of the year.
Joining the Hero Faction seed fun for Jin. The faction was still unknown and out of the three biblical factions, aning he could gain more diverse skills if he t girls from the Hero Faction.
But then, he changed his mind almost imdiately when he heard Cao Cao's answer.
"Obviously, the evil beings are Devils, Fallen Angels, and Dragons. We will save humanity from them. How is it? Do you want to join the Hero Faction?" Cao Cao extended his hand toward Jin.
"Even if you have no Sacred Gear or Holy Swords, I heard you are a skillful fighter. I know you just hang around those devils to find their weakness."
'I see.' Jin gained an understanding of the boy called Cao Cao. 'He's a delusional madman, different from a crazy madman like Freed.' That was his conclusion.
Cao Cao was just a delusional boy. If Jin hadn't t Sirzechs yet, maybe he would still be interested in joining Hero Faction to find more skills. But unfortunately, Jin had t Lucifer.
'There is no way Cao Cao can defeat Sirzechs even with his hidden weapon. I think he has a Sacred Gear, but that will not be enough.'
However, Jin didn't say that outright. That would hurt Cao Cao and turn him into an enemy. He wouldn't do sothing so foolish. He even glanced at Issei to make him shut his mouth. Issei was able to know his hint without being told due to their long relationship.
"I see," Jin responded to Cao Cao with a nod. "I will think about it. Your offer is so sudden that I have no ti to process it."
"Hmm, alright." Cao Cao nodded. He didn't force Jin and only smiled. "I will wait for your positive reply. I have finished what I need to do here, so I will excuse myself before the Devil returns." The boy then walked away while waving his hand toward Jin and dumbfounded Issei.
Jin kept looking at his back as Cao Cao disappeared from the park, teleporting away. He didn't lower his guard yet and scanned the area with his Senjutsu, trying to feel Cao Cao's energy. Who knew if the boy was still hidden? But he felt nothing and let out a sigh.
"He's delusional," Jin said with a wry smile. "Defeat the evil beings, huh? What do you think, Ddraig?" Jin asked the Dragon inside Issei as he looked at his little brother.
[Indeed. I agree with you, Jin. My partner here was about to agree to join the Hero Faction if not for you.]
"I did not!" Issei raised his voice a little at Ddraig's remark.
[Don't deny it. You heard that delusional story and clenched your fist.]
"His story?" Jin asked Ddraig.
[Yeah. There is a facility where children were forced to be compatible with Holy Swords or sothing. Then about how Devils killed humans for fun. How Fallen Angels have no compassion toward humans and others.]
"Ah" Jin only let out an understanding sound. Those stories were true, but soone couldn't judge that a race was evil just based on that. Well, in the bible, Devils were described as Evil, but that was it. "Just forget about it, Issei. Just believe in what you saw."
"Yeah" Issei muttered.
"Good." Jin nodded. "Well, Ddraig. Do you know what kind of Sacred Gear that guy has?"
[I do, in fact.] Ddraig answered. [It is one of the thirteen Longinus, just like Boosted Gear. But its level is way higher and often depicted as the strongest Longinus. He has the Holy Spear, True Longinus.]
"The one St. Longinus used?" Jin asked.
[The sa one.] Ddraig answered.
"That's why he's so confident." Now Jin understood where Cao Cao's confidence ca from. "Well, I think I need to inform Sona about it. I also need to tell her about Irina and Xenovia."
He pulled a phone from his pocket and dialed Sona's number. As he waited for Sona to answer his call, Issei asked from the side.
"Why do you need to tell Sona about Irina? Is it because they are from the church."
"That's one of the reasons. But there is also sothing else. I will explain it to you later." Jin replied.
The call was answered by Sona soon afterward.
[Hello?] Sona's voice echoed from the speaker, and Jin smiled slightly.
"Hey, can we et in an hour? There is an ergency. I will be waiting in the student council room. Thanks."

Before Sona could answer, Jin disconnected the call, turned his phone off, and put it back in his pocket.
"And now she will arrive in five minutes. Sorry Issei, I need to et her right now." Jin said as he used his Teleportation skill.
This was the first ti he used it, but he already knew how to do it thanks to the knowledge cramd inside his mind. His destination was the student council room. A blue magic circle appeared under his feet.
"Make so excuses to Irina."
"W" Just like Sona, Issei hadn't finished his sentence yet when Jin disappeared in a blur.
