Chapter 62: Irina Shidou Falls? by Harem-Fan
Currently, Xenovia, Issei, Saji, Kiba, and Irina are traveling with to the location where we killed Viser...
It was an abandoned mansion at the outskirts of Kuoh Town.
We're all wearing priest robes that hide our Devil auras at a glance, otherwise Freed won't attack us.
So I ended up telling Irina to let bury the Excalibur Destruction in the earth, behind her old church.
Also I told her of so possible dangers she may face in the next 24 hours.
Like she may be defeated to within an inch of her life, and the Excalibur Mimic stolen.
Also she was told she could try throwing the Excalibur Mimic and run, but I don't have high hopes of this working.
Kokabiel himself will take the Excalibur Mimic from her if I interfere too much.
I also told Irina that if she isn't defeated, and joins the final battle, she may end up kicked out of the Church for learning a forbidden secret.
When she heard that warning, she said firmly...
"I won't leave the Church, and I will fight bitterly till the end. I thank you for trying to advise , but this is my holy mission, and I will see it through... I bless you for caring. Just win, stop the war, and don't feel sad for !"
I didn't point out her blessing would've hurt other Devils.
Most of the ti... this girl annoys the crap out of , but in this one instance, I truly admire her dedication...

Also for the second ti ever, I used hypnosis magic on my parents, to take Precious and visit my Grandmother in Tokyo for a few days.

Xenovia is standing ahead of , as my bodyguard.
As Freed's sneak attack was thwarted, he jumps back under the nearby stone pillars and says.
"Damn, you're not a priest but a bunch of Devil sluts and Church whores! Oh? Wait, only one Church whore! Damn you beca a Devil! Hehe, It's my lucky day to slay all of you scum!"
I told my group not to engage him in banter, due to it being his fetish.
The more you talk, the happier he is.
Plus I just hate hearing his filthy mouth.
Clang Slitch Clang~! Both Kiba and Irina tag-team him to draw his attention away from the rest of us.
[Boost... Boost... Explosion! Transfer!]
At this point Issei touches Saji's back, and then Saji nods after feeling his strength skyrocket!
Genshirou Saji then pointed his left-hand's Absorption Line Sacred Gear at Freed!
Fwoosh Creak~! It was very impressive... Saji shot out his pale-blue Absorption Line faster than Freed could react, and it started to constrict on his leg...
Freed's Stamina was quickly being drained from himself!
Thwack Thwack~! Freed of course couldn't cut it, and he had to fend-off both Kiba and Irina.
Honestly I thought Freed was going to die now!
"Freed you are so disappointing...can you even channel your energy into your holy sword and cut that snare!"
Valper Galilei had stepped out of the building, to give the losing Freed so tips to escape.
This actually saved Freed's life, because instead of killing him, Kiba turned his attention to his hated foe, Valper Galilei.
And Irina was too kindhearted to slay Freed out right.
Freed has plot-armor!
Thwack Thwack Slash~! It took Freed 3 strikes instead of just 1 to cut the Boosted Absorption Line this ti, but he got out in the end.
"Old man Valper, nice timing!"
Freed jumped to his side, and prepared to keep fighting.
"Valper Galilei I will kill you for the Holy Sword project!"
Kiba then charged at his foe...
"Freed, we are done here, they have 2 Holy Swords, and half their group hasn't acted, we need to leave!"
He just does the evil villain monologue, like everything is in control, but...
Zzz-sh~! The sound of my bowstring pulled is heard...

Flash Sizzle~! Freed of course is grabbing his flash escape flare, useless on !
Twang Swoosh~! At that mont, I aim the Light Arrow at Valper... As the flash blinds everyone, and the two begin to move, I let my arrow fly and take off Valper Galilei's left ear, as a parting gift.
I can't kill Vincent van Gogh (Valper), or stop his ritual, but I don't have to let our trip here be in vain, right?
All everyone heard was an agonized scream from the old jackass, then when everyone's vision cleared, they saw a trickle of blood leading off to the north...
Kiba smiles at , as he runs with Irina to chase the fleeing rats.
I then say to the Rook and Pawn.
"Great work Issei and Saji, we're done for now. Just go to Sona and report. See you at school."
Then our two pairs of Peerage mbers then parted...

I held Xenovia's hand under the lamppost lights, and she asked .
"Matsuda, why won't you let pursue them with the others?"
Xenovia just asks the obvious, due to her speed and tracking being so high.

"First is, I don't want them dead just yet, or Kokabiel will just destroy Kuoh Town out of anger. My second reason is, in the ga of chess, I will never sacrifice my loving Knight for a win! I just got you in my life, and I won't let you die for nothing..."

That night... Koneko, Akeno, and Rias slept in my bed.
Xenovia and Asia slept in her room, because Xenovia is dangerous to share a bed with, as she tosses and turns.

But they seem to be happy, so my heart feels good.

We all looked up and saw the 10-winged Kokabiel, holding a near dead Irina Shidou in his arms.
Whoosh Thump~! He then tossed her in our direction, and I quickly caught her falling broken form.
Thank God she is still alive, my heart was hurting about this mont.
As I moved, I began to send healing energy into her battered form.
While I was tending to Irena with Asia's help... Kokabiel gave Rias the challenge to her Brother Sirzechs to co and fight.
He and Freed then both left quickly to the school...

While still using the healing, Rias calls Sona and Tsubaki...
As Tsubaki looked her over, she said to Sona and .
"Her Stamina is exhausted, very dangerously low. I can take her to our house and put her in a special dical pod for Stamina, to help her recover, I will take her now."

Sona stays with us, and she brings us Issei as I requested.
"Thanks Sona for your help! Now we need to rush to the school to save it!"
I looked in that direction, and saw a light pillar raised to the sky...
With a glint in Sona's eyes that I didn't notice, she just said.
"Our futures are in your hands, and I trust you, Mat! Please take care of !"
