"Stupid Kazuma... How did he manage to learn new magic without using skill points... Grrr!"
Recently, Kazuma had learned a strange "spell" whose source remained unknown to the mbers of his group.
Although Aqua was aware of the group chat, Kazuma hadn't told her the details regarding his agreent with Sanguinius.
Thanks to invisibility magic, the Lurk skill, and the chainsaw sword purchased via the group chat, Kazuma had managed to complete several quests solo, despite the winter.
He preferred to avoid finding himself in absurd situations caused by Darkness and Aqua, who had the unfortunate tendency to charge headfirst at enemies without waiting for his orders.
As for gumin, she beca a true dead weight after casting her single spell.
This explains the reason for her absence around Kazuma during his little experints during quests.
All these elents had led Kazuma to beco more independent over the past twenty-four hours, to the great despair of gumin and Darkness.
Anyway, from Kazuma's point of view, it was only temporary freedom... just enough ti to test the "gifts" received from Sanguinius.
The lack of "action" had prevented gumin from getting her daily dose of explosions.
Twenty-four hours without an explosion might seem ridiculous to anyone, but not to an enthusiast like gumin.
Back when quests were scarce due to the presence of the undead nad Beldia, she used her magic every day in the wilderness.
One explosion per day is crucial to maintaining gumin's good mood.
It's even better when there's a target... but Darkness isn't reliable enough to face monsters because of her fetishes, which are no secret to anyone in the group.
Especially since in Axel, winter has much more powerful monsters than usual.
Quests outside the city have beco much more difficult to accomplish.
gumin couldn't risk going outside to fight alongside Darkness.
Like her, Darkness needed her daily dose of action to remain... ntally stable.
In this situation, only one person was fully satisfied with Kazuma's behavior: Aqua.
She was delighted to be able to relax for an entire day doing nothing at the inn.
Finally.
Forced by her impulses, gumin ended up taking the risk of bringing Darkness along to go on an adventure without Kazuma and Aqua.
Both had carefully avoided dangerous areas, despite Darkness's insistent protests.
Despite various difficulties, they were able to find a place that t all the criteria appreciated by gumin.
Of course, all their difficulties were able to "satisfy" Darkness.
This is how gumin had been able to discharge her frustration on a poor random goblin, with a totally disproportionate explosion.
After that, she had no more mana.
However, she had been able to return to town thanks to Darkness, but the latter had to leave for another matter.
This is how gumin and Darkness had ended up absent during Sanguinius's summoning.
This naturally brings us to the current scene, where gumin has just been bumped into by soone in front of the inn.
"Ouch..."
"You should be careful!!!"
"Sorry, I was imrsed in my personal information," he said, helping the young girl to her feet.
"This Archiwizard will let it slide, since you really seem to have not done it on purpose."
Sanguinius hadn't recognized gumin at first, but her tone and gestures quickly reconnected his neurons.
'Great, I really just ran into an Archiwizard lite version.'
Sanguinius has a poor opinion of gumin as a mage himself, but he enormously appreciates the character.
Despite others' opinions, she does things she enjoys without worrying about them.
It takes great strength of character to adopt such a ntality.
However, he disapproves of such a magical path.
'Just one spell? Is she really serious?'
Magic is a tool to kill or destroy... at least, that was Sanguinius's opinion at first.
Currently, the more he studies science and magic, the more he sees them as a path.
A path to what? Good question.
He has no idea himself.
He doesn't know what he'll see at the end of the path of both routes.
Yet, he has begun to love the "reason" and "logic" hidden in both routes.
This may seem incompatible with his believing vision on Earth, but several magical systems are based on "faith," such as the one used by the biblical pantheon.
Thus, Sanguinius no longer sees magic as a pure tool or weapon, nor as an insult to the divine.
It has beco... sothing more.
This is why gumin annoys him as a mage.
She has no path!!
She settles for a simple spell.
She doesn't seek to explore the magical system related to detonation magic, nor to study explosions more deeply in all their aspects.
She just likes... things that go boom!!
'There's no evolution in that, no advancent, no path prepared for future generations, but just selfish self-satisfaction.'
Her case is worse than that of Serie or Emiya Kiritsugu in the current Sanguinius's view.
"Thank you for your kindness, you ntioned being an Archiwizard, right?"
"Hmm hmm haha, exactly, and my na is gumin."

She imdiately introduced herself with a dramatic pose.
Of course, Sanguinius imdiately used the "Act" skill to avoid embarrassing gumin or himself by saying or acting badly unintentionally.
"Fascinating, you emanate a strong energy similar to an explosion," he said, to stroke the explosion fanatic in the right direction.
"Exactly, you have a good eye!"
She imdiately puffed out her nonexistent chest with pride.
"Thank you for the complint, but I can sense that you are incomplete." After this remark, gumin imdiately approached him without regard for his personal space.
"What do you an, incomplete?"
She had a concerned tone.
A situation similar to that of an artist who ets a stranger possessing good critical sense.
Unfortunately, this stranger ntions a missing elent concerning an aspect of the artist himself.
"Calm down, it's not irreversible."
"Oh, sorry, you can speak now."
Despite having stepped back, she still seems slightly... rushed.
'I've never seen this man in Axel before, he must be new, and a mage or a priest judging by his outfit.'
gumin is already known in the city because of her explosions, which have caused enormous problems for the city.
That's why eting a perceptive stranger is a boon for her.
She wanted a third party's opinion about her magic, like Kazuma once.
Since Sanguinius doesn't hide part of his magic, as he didn't want to pass for an incompetent in front of other adventurers...
gumin was able to quickly understand that he is a mage.
"We would need to go outside for to explain what type of explosion you evoke to , and what kind of explosion you should aim for at the mont," he explains without paying attention to the winter weather.
"I understand the necessity of going out, but it's winter and the creatures outside..."
gumin wanted to express her opinion, but she stopped because of Sanguinius.
"Don't worry, there are few things capable of making sweat in this world."
Despite his arrogant words from gumin's point of view, Sanguinius is actually being humble here.
Apart from The Mobile Fortress Destroyer, which can cause him headaches in a frontal battle,
there is nothing threatening in this world for him.
"Ok, I'll follow you," she said after a little ntal deliberation.
'I just hope these aren't empty words...'
