Babel Tower not only serves as the "lid" of the dungeon but also fulfills other roles.

One of these is housing deities and their prominent Familia forces, particularly in its upper levels.

That sudden, scorching gaze originated from the towering, cloud-piercing summit of Babel Tower.

In Blake's mory, aside from the goddess Freya, no other deity would be idle enough to spy on mortals in the lower world—let alone with such an intense gaze.

"It seems I've caught the attention of a troubleso figure," Blake murmured, narrowing his eyes at Babel Tower, his crystal-blue eyes shimring slightly.

As for Freya, Blake had absolutely no interest in her. Among the gods, the only ones he admired were Hestia, whom he liked very much, and Hephaestus, whom he respected deeply.

Other goddesses, while beautiful—especially the so-called goddess of beauty Freya—didn't move him at all. Why?

These gods, who have lived for countless millennia, often grew bored and indulged themselves excessively. Freya, in particular, was infamous for her countless lovers, with whom she frequently spent the night.

For soone like her who lacked self-respect, Blake couldn't muster the slightest interest—he even felt so disdain.

Though so might consider this attitude chauvinistic, Blake didn't believe he was wrong.

"Blake-sama, what's wrong?" Lili asked curiously, noticing Blake staring at Babel Tower in silence.

"Ah, it's nothing. Let's head to the guild and exchange these magic stones for money," Blake said with a light chuckle as he turned away.

It seed Freya had noticed his gaze, as the oppressive feeling vanished.

"Alright," Lili replied, her eyes brightening slightly with a trace of joy. However, deep in her gaze, there was an undercurrent of worry, as if sothing troubled her.

...

"Ah...!"

In a luxurious chamber at the top of Babel Tower, a goddess suddenly let out a soft moan and collapsed to the floor, trembling, her face flushed bright red as she gasped for air.

"My lady?"

At the doorway of the opulent room, a burly man with an imposing presence saw the goddess suddenly fall to the floor. His stern face shifted slightly as he stepped forward, only to be stopped.

The goddess, trembling and panting, struggled to speak in a voice filled with pain.

"I'm... fine..."

The goddess, saying this, slowly lifted her flushed, rosy face.

On that delicate face, there was no sign of pain.

There was only an endless expression of pleasure.

"How could this be..." the goddess murmured, her voice filled with intoxication.

"With just one glance... I'm..."

The goddess clamped her legs tightly together, trying to endure the overwhelming sensation of bliss coursing through her.

Through slightly unfocused eyes, she gazed out of the window at the distance.

There, the figure of the man who had caused her complete loss of composure was gradually disappearing.

"He... he's mine. Absolutely mine..."

The goddess's voice, faintly tinged with madness, carried her infatuation as she spoke softly.

...

In the guild hall, Eina rested her hand on the wooden counter, propping her face up as she stared out the guild's front door. Her green eyes held a hint of worry, her mind lost in thought.

Today, the silver-haired rookie adventurer who had gone into the dungeon hadn't returned yet.

By all logic, rookie adventurers shouldn't spend too long in the dungeon. Physical limits, courage, and strength—many factors typically forced them to retreat.

Still, Blake seed quite capable. Even so, staying in the dungeon until this hour was unusual, and it worried her.

Far too many adventurers had t their end in the dungeon, and Eina truly didn't want Blake, a promising young man, to beco one of them. She'd spared no effort explaining all the precautions to him that morning for this very reason.

Just as Eina's thoughts drifted, a silver-haired figure entered the guild hall, accompanied by a petite pallum girl carrying a disproportionately large backpack.

"Miss Eina, could you help exchange these magic stones for valis?"

Blake, noticing the dazed beauty in front of him, lightly knocked on the counter and spoke in a gentle tone.

"Ah! Yes!"

Startled by his voice, Eina snapped back to reality. Her beautiful green eyes refocused as she prepared to resu her usual work—only to freeze mid-motion as she looked at Blake's handso, smiling face.

"Wait! Blake, you're finally back! Why were you in the dungeon for so long?"

Eina exclaid in surprise before asking with concern.

"Well, the monsters on the upper floors were too weak, so I went a bit deeper," Blake explained with a light chuckle. Being cared for by his charming half-elf advisor didn't feel bad at all.

"You went deeper? Don't tell you reached the tenth floor! That's reckless!"

Eina's tone was filled with disbelief. A rookie venturing to the tenth floor alone? Unheard of! The rookie adventurer maps only covered the first ten floors, so that's all she could imagine.

"Well, more or less. Miss Eina, could you process these magic stones first? Lili, bring them out," Blake said, smiling at Eina's stunned expression.

"Right away!"

With his words, Lili obediently took out the magic stones. The enormous backpack filled nearly the entire workbench, the heavy thud emphasizing its weight.

"..."

Eina stared at the pile of magic stones on the counter, utterly speechless. Her mind struggled to process the sheer amount.

From her work experience, she estimated there were at least 500 stones here, judging by their size. And the largest ones at the top couldn't have co from weak monsters like goblins.

"Gulp—"

The sound of gulping echoed through the guild as even the idle adventurers stared at the bag of stones with shock and greed.
