Vatler’s purpose was to have Natsuki and Blake jointly suppress the three unsealed Vessels.

Now, the group had already gathered at the entrance of the ruins.

After so mutual subtle and not-so-subtle maneuvering, the group headed inside.

The staircase was surprisingly long. They walked for an unknown amount of ti, the surrounding environnt becoming increasingly oppressive and cold, and the sound of their footsteps on the ground becoming clearer.

Finally, besides the dim torchlight, an icy blue glow appeared at the end of the corridor beyond the staircase.

"The Vessels are sealed in the innermost part, but it’s best to protect yourselves with magic from now on.

Although the three Vessels are asleep, they are not completely sealed. Now that the outer sealing formations have been undone, if they are stimulated, they might backfire." Although he gave this warning, Vatler himself showed no caution at all, and one could even hear excitent in his tone. This guy was indeed a complete battle maniac. For him, the thrill of encountering life-threatening danger and fighting strong opponents was probably the most enjoyable thing.

Of course, Natsuki also wasn’t on guard. For her, apart from Blake, this powerful and monstrous guy, she hadn’t been wary of anyone, even if the opponent was a Progenitor’s Vessel. With her space control magic, wanting to retreat was simply effortless.

Vatler’s calm gaze said a lot. He wasn’t at all afraid of the strongest vampire’s Vessels. If he didn’t know the truth, then he had enough confidence and assurance. As for him being a fool, that was absolutely impossible for Blake. That’s how Vatler evaluated him.

Finally, rumor had it that Natsuki had defeated the Siren’s Cyan Glaciers, and Blake had killed the Death Emperor’s younger brother. Vatler maintained a considerable degree of suspicion about this. Because the information was too subtle.

"Hehe, you are indeed not simple. Alright, then follow . The rest is up to you. I said I wouldn’t interfere, but you should be ntally prepared in advance. You might have to fight three Vessels possessing the Fourth Progenitor’s familiars at the sa ti."

"We don’t need your reminder." Natsuki still didn’t like Vatler and said coldly.

This guy said he wouldn’t interfere, but he was probably trying to see Blake’s strength. Maybe he would even try to trick them to test Blake, given his bad reputation.

Doing such a thing would be considered light for him.

However, precisely because of this, Natsuki wanted to try her best to defeat the familiars, showing enough strength to make Vatler wary, so that he wouldn’t act rashly and get killed by Blake, which would bring out the

War King and cause the world’s balance to collapse.

Clap clap clap.

The sound of Vatler’s leather shoes echoed clearly as he walked at the forefront.

In the silent underground castle, the icy blue light beca brighter.

Although they had seen this faint glow a long ti ago, they actually walked quite a distance. This underground castle was probably part of the ruins. The ancient stonework and abstract murals managed to preserve the castle from a thousand years ago so well.

Besides the castle itself being sturdy, it should also have been periodically protected by magic.

Thinking this, the two finally followed Vatler into the room that flickered with an icy blue light.

As soon as they entered, the first thing they felt was the biting cold that rushed towards them, followed by a sense of refreshing openness.

Looking up along the stone path and stairs, in the depths of what resembled an altar, stood three huge rectangular ice coffins.

Inside the ice coffins, three beautiful girls with different appearances slept peacefully.

Inside the leftmost ice coffin, engraved with the number 3, was a cute, no, it should be described as bewitching, girl with twin tails.

In the middle one, engraved with the number 4, was a calm and handso girl wearing heavy armor that covered half of her beautiful face.

In the rightmost one, engraved with the number 5, was a

spirited girl with short golden hair, wearing white-gold knight armor decorated with lightning patterns.

They had the sa stunningly beautiful faces as Aurora, similarly delicate bodies, and the sa ethereal, dreamlike aura.

The noble fairy princesses were just tragic lives as vessels.

"These are the three Vessels possessed by the War King’s Dominion, Number Three, Number Four, and Number Five. They respectively represent the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Familiars of the Fourth Progenitor, the Fla Emperor of the Night." Vatler introduced the three girls in the ice coffins to Blake and Natsuki, while staring at them with a hint of excitent.

"Number Three, ’Tritonos’, is the host of the Third Familiar, the rcury Serpent; Number Four, ’Tartaros’, is the host of the Fourth Familiar, the Silver Mist of the Shell; and Number Five, ’Theoptos’, is the host of the Fifth Familiar, the Golden Lion." Blake’s eyes flickered with strange brilliance as his gaze swept over the three identical, fairy-like delicate faces.

Thinking about having a ’hehehe’ ti with twelve fairy girls with the sa appearance made his blood boil...

"A long ti ago, they were in an unsealed state, but because they weren’t very obedient, they were temporarily put to sleep here."

"Not very obedient? Even the First Progenitor couldn’t make them bow their heads?"

Hearing Natsuki’s question, Vatler shook his head with a smile.

"My old man doesn’t care about these things. Alright, this request is just to suppress them. As for what happens after, we won’t trouble you. During the banquet, even if they don’t want to, they will be obedient."

As expected, this snake charr was very shrewd, keeping his mouth tightly shut about the internal affairs of the War King’s Dominion.

To get any useful information out of him, it would require an equivalent exchange, or even paying a higher price. Of course, if it was sothing he was interested in, he might proactively tell them. But clearly, anything related to the First Progenitor had zero possibility.
