Colin's POV
I followed the sounds of explosions and the fireballs that were constantly being fired in the air.
'I need to hurry.' I thought as I noticed that the auras of many Greater imps were closing in on Alice but I wasn't fast enough. One of the Greater imps managed to reach Alice before I did but it seems I had nothing to worry about as it's aura quickly disappeared. Even so I continued speeding through the forest when I noticed a large fireball was fired into the sky and Alice's aura impacted the forest floor heavily. I gritted my teeth and hoped she would stay alive until I managed to get there. I reached Alice just in ti to see her baring her fangs at a Greater imp and a wolf. I imdiately swooped down and shoved my claws through the chest of the Greater imp ripping out her heart and just to make sure she was dead, I shoved my claws at her neck cutting her head clean off.
The wolf looked around and snarled but it couldn't sense and so I flicked my wrist and a ball of hellfire ignited it's fur before quickly spreading all over it's body, and turning it to ashes quickly afterwards. Alice looked at and ran towards hugging tightly happy to see and I caressed her head lightly. She eventually pulled away from our embrace and tried to stand on her own but quickly fell to the ground. I looked at her legs and noticed that one of them was injured and I looked at the pile of ashes with rage brewing in my very soul.
"You are safe now but the other Greater imps will be coming soon so I need you to use [Shadow Cloak] to hide until I get back." I said with rage still burning in my soul although I didn't show it.
"Okay." She said and then she was covered in shadows disappearing from my perception. I then flew into the sky but didn't activate [Stealth] just yet and flew into a direction away from the red auras. Naturally the Greater imps followed and I successfully led them away from Alice. As the Greater imps closed in on , I activated [Stealth] and flew towards the closest one at full speed. The greater imp was still running towards the location of where last saw so I didn't have to fly long. This greater imp also had a wolf with him but that didn't matter, I swooped down and slashed my claw at his shoulder causing blood to fly all over the place. As I was going in for a second strike his body was covered in flas and he sent a fireball into the sky and made it explode.
I didn't dwell on the strange actions of the Greater imp for long and swooped in to attack once again. The fire surrounding the Greater imp didn't affect and I plunged my hand into his stomach. As I was going to pull my hand out I realized I couldn't, the bastard was tensing his abdominal muscles around my hand, trapping it in a grotesque prison of muscle and flesh.
"Got you. Fangs!!" The Greater imp shouted and the wolf jumped on and bit into my hand. I gritted my teeth and ignited my hand with hell fire causing both the Greater imp and the wolf to to be burned. The wolf quickly jumped off while screaming in pain and rolled around on the ground trying to extinguish the flas but that only made the pain last longer. The greater imp was reduced to ashes and minutes later so did the wolf.
"So you're the one causing all this ss?" Said a female Greater imp as she walked towards .
'Crap.' I imdiately activated [Aura Vision] and I saw that all the Greater were already here, with six of them surrounding and this woman walking towards that makes seven in total.
"Don't even bother trying to run away." The woman said as I was about to activate [Stealth]. Just then I felt the aura of the six Greater imps surrounding surge and then the their aura began to spread fast. A bad feeling overca and I imdiately tried to fly away but the woman wouldn't let . She created spears of fire and shot them at and they even chased not giving the ti to activate [Stealth]. I created fireballs from hellfire and collided them with the fire spears but even then I was too late. I felt demonic energy spread around and above boxing in, even the Demon miasma in the forest seed to have been sucked in by the demonic energy. Using [Aura Vision] I could see what looked like a do of pure demonic energy surrounding . I had nowhere to run.
"Surprised, this is [Demon Ritual: Devil Do] technique. I doubt that you know about it since you were a human only a few weeks ago." The female said
"How do you know that?" I asked confused
"Oh, any real demon can tell that you were once human, after all a real demon would never willingly work with an angel." She said and then she charged at with her claws enveloped in flas and her eyes burning with excitent.
