The place was still burning hot from the ongoing battle between Kyle and Arman .
And thanks to that noise, the monsters were too distracted to notice a small squad moving quietly through.
He peeked out at the crosswalk.
Only a couple of ogres were lumbering around nearby.
"Let’s take them out quickly and move."
"Yes!"
They synced their movents.
On the count of three, Jhin slid across the asphalt and aid straight for the ogre’s neck.
It turned too late.
His blade had already carved halfway through.
KUEEEEKKK!
With a grotesque shriek, the hulking ogre collapsed to the ground, headless.
For a mont, they froze—worried the noise would draw attention.
But nothing ca.
Ironically, the battle between Kyle and Arman was making so much noise, it masked everything else.
"By the way, Sir Kyle—don’t you still need to find the Goblin Orb?"
Wiping the blood from his blade, Adonis jogged over.
Since learning Jhin ’s true identity as "Kyle," he’d handed over full command of the operation.
In dungeons, level and experience were everything.
That was the rule ARC had adopted for survival in this world.
Jhin glanced toward the roaring chaos in the distance.
"If we didn’t know where the dungeon was, then sure. But now? There’s no need to chase after the Goblin Orb."
It was just an item, after all.
Without a user, it could do nothing.
Which ant...
The person using the Goblin Orb was still out there—and it wasn’t the Company or Adonis’s group.
"It’s probably one of the monsters inside the dungeon."
Millie frowned and asked, "But what if the one in the mascot suit is just a monster created by a Dungeon Break?"
Dungeon Break monsters were no longer linked to their dungeon of origin.
Even if you cleared the dungeon, it wouldn’t make them disappear.
"That’s just it. I think... that thing is still connected."
"...What do you an by that?"
"It’s too large in scale for just one monster to have caused all this."
That was the biggest question.
No matter how powerful the item might be, could a single monster really wield enough power to upend all of Bey World?
For one creature to manage sothing like this, it would at least need to be a B-rank or higher advanced monster.
"My guess is that the dungeon’s own power is acting as a dium to shape this space."
"...The dungeon’s power?"
"Yes. The item’s effects are being magnified through the dungeon’s energy—and that’s what’s allowing all these monsters to spill into reality."
"Is that even possible?"
Jhin gave a light shrug.
"Honestly... does a question like that even matter in the world we live in now?"
The world had already beco a ga. And in Exodia, the word "impossible" didn’t an anything anymore.
As long as the conditions were right,
As long as you figured out the thod...
Anything could happen.
Maybe that’s why the world had beco like a ga in the first place—because all the right conditions had been t.
And conversely, if the right conditions could be achieved again...
There’d be nothing that couldn’t be conquered.
Jhin believed that understanding this dungeon was the first step.
Once they figured out the nature of this place, then everything—from the Goblin Orb, to the mascot-headed monsters, to even Arman —could be dealt with, one by one.
"You’re right. It really doesn’t look like a typical dungeon at all."
They had just arrived at Bey Tower, and a thick mist clung low across the ground. Across the street, that black-hole-like rift shimred ominously. It didn’t resemble a gate at all.
"It looks like the Company’s already gone inside."
Jhin nodded. "We’re not too late. If we move fast, we can catch up."
"Yes."
He reached out and gently placed a hand on the swirling darkness.
He wanted to see if it would reveal any information—like a typical dungeon gate would.
But nothing happened.
"...Hmm."
Normally, just touching the entrance would trigger so kind of dungeon info popup.
At the very least, the na of the dungeon should appear.
But here—nothing. No data at all.
Even Jhin , with all his experience, had never seen anything like it.
’No... wait. Sothing about this does feel familiar.’
He steeled himself and prepared to reach further into the rift.
Because in the end, the fastest way to understand sothing is to go in and see for yourself.
But just before his hand made contact, he heard sothing strange.
Krrrrk-kkkkkaaaak...
"...!"
Jhin instantly twisted his body to avoid the strike aid right at the back of his neck.
In a single motion, he drew his sword and slashed to counter the incoming threat.
"Kh—!"
Luckily, no one else was hurt. They were already on edge, after all—entering an unknown space like this. Everyone was ready to respond.
But what none of them expected...
...was the system ssage that suddenly blocked their vision.
[An unknown force is surging across Bey World.]
[Stage 1 conditions have been fulfilled.]
[A new quest has arrived.]
And right at that mont, more attacks ca.
Jhin ’s sword flashed again and again, slashing through the incoming tendrils with sharp, precise arcs.
He breathed heavily, scanning their surroundings.
Millie spoke in a tense voice.
"Jhin ... this place..."
The black tendrils and thorny vines looked ready to strike again at any mont. They had erupted out of the dark rift and were now pulsing and writhing across the ground like they were alive.
And then another ssage appeared in Jhin ’s vision:
Type: Sub
Difficulty: ?
Condition: A parasitic entity has appeared in Bey World. Once specific conditions are t, the dungeon ’Puppeteer Pierrot’s The Park (?)’ will be created.
Escape the dungeonizing area: Bey World.
Ti Limit: Until all conditions are fulfilled
Reward: Survival
Failure: Death
Jhin muttered the words aloud.
"...Dungeonization?"
