With Sam leaving the place, those who remained were left in an awkward position after Gertrude was thrown away by Sam. They didn't know if they were prisoners or if they were allowed to leave, and the only way to know for sure was to actually attempt to leave, though no one wanted to be the first to try.
This issue was easily fixed by Luna, who grabbed an unsuspecting Mark and perford a flawless Aikido throw which was impressive considering she did not know any martial arts.
"It's safe." Luna inford after Mark flew by after crashing through a window.
Everyone exited the library leaving a very confused goddess of fate behind who had a hard ti wrapping her head around the fact that Sam had pushed her away like she was nothing. He had potential, but in this current point in ti he was supposed to be no bigger threat to her than any other holy rank hunter.
The Dungeon Raiders rushed through the streets, but without a car or any ans of transportation it was bound to take a long while which is why Luna decided to summon her loyal steed, Babieca.
"What the..." Jon gasped.
"Hop in, we will catch up to you later," Said Luna and Jon did as she asked, she then looked at Mister Scofield and pointed at him. "you too."
"There is no way in hell...." Jon said but was cut short when Mister Scofield actually hopped onto the horse and before Jon could utter another word the horse raced through the streets heading directly towards the stadium.
Due to Luna channeling just enough flux to keep the summon active, the horse looked exactly like a regular animal, but no regular horse would be capable of running at the speed of the cryptid horse Luna acquired after the defeat of its past master. Needless to say, it was considered an eventful day by all who saw the horse not just matching the speed of cars around it, but also respecting traffic signs.
Even Jon Hunter and Mister Scofield were taken aback by the speed the horse held and its ability to move through traffic which far surpassed the speed they could have gathered by moving on foot. Even if they went from building to building, the smoothness of the ride made it more reliable by far.
But that left the rest with no other ans to move across the city and they were forced to do it on foot. Thankfully the streets were not crowded due to most people either attending the tournant or watching it from their hos.
"Stop! I can't go that fast!" Shouted Emma with a jagged breath after running for just five blocks.
"Fine, we'll take the bus." Said dusa after taking a glance at the rest of the Dungeon Raiders and realizing it would take less ti if they all moved together, but also that they would be able to watch the tournant on the way and make a ga plan.
"Without a ticket they won't let us in." Said Phlox.
"And they'll have security." Said Emma.
"The minute my father shows up at the door, they'll be done for." Miss Dragonfang said with confidence that died down the mont everyone glared at her.
"If it wasn't for your father we would have made it to the city safely and would be by Uriel's side now." dusa scolded.
"Yeah, maybe, but wasn't that aweso? Being inside his trait was so groovy." Miss Dragonfang said and while no one seed to agree, soone actually joined in.
"Indeed, it was quite interesting." Luna pondered out loud.
"Let's see how is Uriel doing..." Said dusa as she took out her phone and what she saw...

With so few contestants left it was bound to be the last day of the tournant which ant each team would have to fight several tis within the day. It was bound to be tiring, but it was considered fair since all the contestants would be subjected to the sa.
This brought a new strategic aspect to the tournant as the contestants needed to defeat their opponents while also saving their energy to fight later. If they exerted their bodies too much or if they spent too much flux energy, they would have a chance at winning the fight at the cost of diminishing their chances in the next one.
This didn't affect much the more nurous teams, but it almost imdiately ruled out those who had lost too many mbers and also the ones who were alone to begin.
"This is it, there's no way he's making it through today," Was heard through the speaker as the comntator was taking his seat. Realizing his blunder on the spot, he pretended nothing happened and went forward to introduce the fight. "Uriel of the Dungeon Raiders," He said giving the crowd enough ti to boo at him and only continuing after it cald down. "against the Defenders."
The crowd burst into what could only be described as a massive uproar. They clapped, whistled, cheered out loud and so even lost their voice on the spot due to shouting so much.
"I'm so glad you're safe." Uriel said as he walked in to greet Hazel.
"I wish I could say the sa." She replied through her mask, though it showed on her eyes she wasn't being sincere.
"How do you want to do this?" Uriel asked scratching the back of his head as he looked to the side.
"I was just about to ask you the sa thing. I'm guessing you're not interested in forfeiting," Hazel probed and continued after Uriel remained silent. "then, we'll have no choice but to go all out."
"Actually...," Uriel was about to ask them to just put on a show, but the sudden movent of a certain holy rank hunter who just entered the stadium could not be missed by Uriel. Sam moved across the crowd with Celerity active, making him barely noticeable for most people but standing out like a sore thumb for Uriel who was on high alert at the ti. Had Sam went to take a seat sowhere Uriel would have continued with his plan, but when he saw the smug grin on Sam's face as he found the bookie and placed a bet, Uriel decided to make the remainder of the tournant a statent for Sam. "I don't, let's go all out."
The referee had already given the go and stood there wondering why no one made a move, but Hazel broke the ice by summoning a rock spike from the ground that would have pierced Uriel if not for him jumping back. But his movent played out perfectly with the Defenders' plan as their mber with telekinetic powers kept him afloat.
"Now!" Hazel shouted and the four companions she had chosen for the team lunged forward to strike at him in a decisive movent. The pictures taken that mont were the epic leap of five heroes who lunged forward against the tournant's villain who despite floating helplessly in the sky actually seed arrogant as he looked down on his opponents.
The outco of the fight ca as fast as the fight started with Uriel activating Dash and knocking the first two to co into range, then catching the stone bullets Hazel summoned from her hands in the air and throwing them back at the others leaving only one mber of the Defenders still conscious as Uriel landed back on his feet.
"Tee hee." Marina chuckled as she lifted both hands in surrender.
Instead of comnting the epic fight that just took place like he was supposed to, the comntator rushed in to announce the winner to give Uriel the least amount of ti to recover. It being first fight to finish ant that Uriel's opponent was not decided yet, which caused those who watched the other fights to remain on the edge of their seats as they crossed their fingers Uriel was put against a more competent opponent.
As luck or fate would have it, it was truly the worst case scenario for Uriel as he faced one of the biggest corporations in the world and one he was already familiar with: the Mapple corporation. And to make matters even worse, they were from the security division.
The fight broke out the mont the referee gave the go and three of the Mapple corporation employees darted forward, with two of them staying behind to watch their backs showing they didn't let their guard down just because their opponent was alone.
Their traits complinted each other in ways Uriel had yet to learn and although he used Dash to dodge their combatant who had a physical enhancing trait, their doctor managed to leave a scratch on Uriel's arm.
"We got him!" Said the team leader as he nodded at the doctor to activate his trait.
"Decay!" He shouted as he channeled a vast amount of flux, turning the reddish scratch to a brown color that soon shifted to purple and finally to black as it extended through Uriel's skin like a disease.
Uriel's very flesh started rotting on the spot and it was precisely the lack of pain what alerted him the most, forcing Uriel to fight for real this ti. He closed his eyes and heaved a sigh as he cald his mind, then activated Dash once more allowing him to dodge their follow up strikes.
