Catching up with an ATV was an impossible task even for a heavenly rank hunter with a trait such as Dash, but Uriel heaved a sigh of relief after confirming he had left the rman behind which ant he was safe. Or so he thought, because shortly after he almost face planted into what looked to be a rock, but was actually a large creature.

Uriel couldn't make much of it since he only possessed the dim light of his gas lantern and he was too close to see it in full, though its flux energy signature inford Uriel it was a beast level cryptid and although it wasn't Uriel's first ti encountering an abnormal creature such as the one in front of him, he soon noticed there was sothing off about it other than its size.

Luckily for Uriel, the cryptid seed unaware of his presence and after turning off the light he was able to escape safely from his predicant. However, this situation repeated itself over and over throughout the night and by the ti he reached the town where his friends were taken to he was a dirty ss, covered in sweat and blood.

"Are you, uhm, okay?" Asked Luna after a short sniff at Uriel, then continued eating her breakfast on the coffee shop while scribbling on her notepad.

"You... You guys left behind, again!" He grunted.

"Yeah, yeah," Nika waved her hands. "but you have your hat back, don't you?"

"You left us first, if it wasn't for miss Mathilda who ca to rescue us we wouldn't have made it through the night," Bella said, her eyes wide as dishes and a disheveled appearance. "we saw things... things that shouldn't exist."

"About that..." Uriel scanned their surroundings to make sure no one was listening, then proceeded to recount the events that transpired on the beach. Not just to inform them about the existence of angels, but also to cover the fact that retrieving the stolen hat from a harmless animal took him way longer than he wanted to admit.

"I knew it. I knew angels were real." Luna repeated over and over as she rocked herself in the chair to keep her emotions at bay.

"Well, while you were so busy fishing with that dude I took the liberty to investigate a little about this place. It turns out you were right and this is indeed Gibraltar, but that's where the good news end. It used to be considered british territory, but is now a sovereign country, but that's only on paper. This entire country is run by the Hathaway company and we likely won't find any Mapple corp.

branch in this country since they are currently at war for control of the trading routes with Arica." Nika inford.

"What about it? We just have to go wherever the Mapple corporation is, find dusa, hop into the zeppelin and chase after Saint Germain." Uriel replied with a shrug.

"You make it sound easy, but it's not. There's a reason why I asked you not to ss around that Hathaway kid back in college, but you didn't listen and now we're in trouble. If anyone finds out we have any links to the Mapple corporation we'll be on our own."

"Like we've always been. I don't see the big deal. It's not like they can block us from leaving the country. Last ti I checked the world governnt was still the ones setting up the rules. Let them squabble all they want, in the end we will be running our business everywhere." Uriel said dismissively.

"They may not be able to do that, but they can deny offering us their services."

"Oh," Uriel said as the aning behind Nika's words finally sunk in. While he had no issues fighting his way towards every goal, that would only be possible if he had enough charged batteries and a place to rest. Not to ntion the need for money to continue using his trait. "so we're in trouble now."

"Not necessarily," Alice butted in. "I know Hathaway and he's not unreasonable. Besides, he took part in our study group. If we let him know we're here I bet he'll greet us with open arms and help us in anything we ask."

"There's just one problem with that, he's back in Arica." Nika snarled.

"What should we do then?" Alice let out a sigh.

"When in doubt, the most sensible thing is to head over to the Cryptid Hunting agency." Uriel pointed out to which Nika replied with a grunt.

"Can you think of sothing that's not research or work?"

"He has a point, though. Just by looking at their bounty board will tell us more about the nearby cryptids than we'll know on our own." Luna said, her face stuffed with crumbs.

Since Uriel was the last to arrive, he was also the last to finish his breakfast and the last to leave which ant he had to foot the bill for everyone. It was sothing that would have annoyed him anyti, but more so now after checking the unreasonable prices displayed on the nu.

Knowing he would be upset, the mbers of the Dungeon Raiders company, or what was left of them, ran towards the Cryptid Hunting Agency in hopes for a safe haven from his anger. The rowdy bunch drew a lot of attention from the locals, though even if they behaved the outco would have been the sa as they weren't accustod to visitors.

Not that they had any issues with more hunters stopping by as it would likely make their roads and town safer, especially after noticing them entering the local branch of the Cryptid Hunting Agency which likely ant they weren't criminals.

Luna stood in front of the bounty board though she was so short she needed Uriel to pick her up in order to read it thoroughly and after fumbling to herself for a few minutes, she seemingly found what she had been looking for.
