"Hi future self, this is Uriel's Sage private Vlog. I'm making this recording for posterity because after speaking with my colleague, Jon Hunter, I'm almost certain he wants to steal my research for himself.

This, along with all the previous entries, will act as proof that I was the first to unravel the ancient glyphs present in the dungeons." Uriel spoke to the cara trying to sound casual, yet the noise behind him made it difficult.

"Co on! How co we didn't even made it to the newspapers!?" Nika stomped her feet and put away her cellphone.

"Why do you care anyway? We still got paid." dusa butted in.

"We got paid, alright, but with everyone hunting cryptids the price of flux orbs went downhill. Besides, I do care! My trait already makes feel like I'm living in Uriel's shadow, I want to be famous for my own ahivents."

"Hey! I'm trying to make a Vlog here!" Uriel snarled.

"And you didn't invite us?" dusa pouted. She had made lots of improvents to the ship and was eager to showcase them on a Vlog yet Uriel kept pushing it for later.

"It's a private entry, I need to do this or your shaless uncle will steal my research." Uriel turned his back on the smartphone for a second giving Luna the chance to speak at the cara. However, since the tripod had been set for soone as tall as Uriel, all that could be seen of Luna was her eyes and forehead.

Despite the badly adjusted cara angle and the bickering between her friends behind, Luna started speaking to the cara.

"Hi... uhm... Luna. I'm Luna. Uriel is just mad because he thought the Air spirit people were angels, but according to the glyphs found by Jon in the Alamo dungeon they were not. What they are is far worse..."

"Luna, what are you doing?" Uriel asked with a nice tone trying to catch her with a low guard, though the tiny huntress knew better and run away behind Nika looking for cover. While Uriel chased Luna, it was Nika's turn to speak to the cara.

"I killed a horror level cryptid, it's not a big deal, I know. But I did it with this Colt Peacemaker, this baby can channel my flux energy and according to Uriel it has a chance to stun enemies in fear, but what's the point of that when a single bullet is enough to kill a horror rank cryptid?"

"Did you forget about what happened with the puppeteer? You ran out of ammo and it didn't die! It was horrible. Also, I doubt you'll beco famous if you speak in Uriel's private Vlog." dusa spoke to Nika as she didn't know where the cara was.

"The most likely explanation to why it was so easy for Nika to kill the horror level Poltergeist and so difficult to kill the puppeteer was because Nika's affinity to shadows is high and the puppeteer was a shadow creature." Luna managed to explain before Uriel caught her by the hoodie and lifted her up like a wet rag.

Aware of her short reach, she refused to make a fool of herself trying to fight back.

"Stop bullying my cute Luna!" Nika grabbed Luna in her arms like a child.

"Keep going, we won't bother you anymore." dusa lowered her head sounding as pitiful as she could.

"Finally!" Uriel let out and then turned to everyone. "Since you're all so eager to participate, then why don't you ask as witnesses to what I'm about to say?"

"Sure!" dusa cheerfully exclaid as she pushed up her breasts and adjusted her hair to appear on cara, not realizing that she had always been on screen.

"Before finishing our conversation, Jon Hunter admitted he had encountered the ancient language I deciphered on several occasions. Deeming its content too dangerous he always copied the ssages then destroyed the originals so nobody else could understand its aning. Did you all hear that?"

"Yeah, now that you ntion it. It's very uncharacteristic for Uncle Jon to destroy archaeological remains. Do you know why he did it?" dusa asked.

She always suspected the tales Jon told her about his adventures were exaggerated, but he always told her about his failures so of which he was genuinely embarrassed about like the ti he tried to seduce a wooden statue and she never suspected he could be hiding sothing as important as destroying cultural remains.

"You don't really know him," Nika scoffed. "He's always been like that. If he couldn't benefit directly from sothing, he would rather see it burn than in other people's hands. Anything he couldn't bag and tag he destroyed. In that sense, I think Uriel is a better archaeologist than him."

"I wish it was that simple. I'd be the first in line to point fingers at Jon and out him as a shitty archaeologist, but I can't really bla him.

From what he said, he had seen so of those old scriptures in Atlantis and they were just scribbles, but after becoming a hunter he experienced a headache as though his mind was trying to unravel a mystery that required more processing power than his brain could achieve."

"Headache, blurred visions, auditory hallucinations, those are the symptoms of a divine oracle." Luna explained as that phenonon crossed both the mythological and dical fields at the sa ti.

"Precisely, and if that's the case, then destroying the glyphs was the right decision." Uriel had to grit his teeth to say that, but his professional integrity required him to clear Jon's na.

"Are you really supporting the destruction of unique and irreplaceable cultural remains?" dusa gasped.

"No, of course not. Picture it this way, if we're digging on an archaeological site and find a mint condition bomb, would you send it to a museum? Of course not, it's a weapon and it needs to be defused, but sotis it's not safe to do so.

The correct action is to docunt everything and attempt to defuse it if you have the ans and only then it would be correct to donate it." Uriel explained his reasoning.

"You're only defending him because you can understand that language and it makes no difference to you that Jon destroyed the originals." Nika poked at Uriel.

"That's where you're mistaken. I can understand the language, but only in it's original source. Jon must have made mistakes when copying it or his handwriting is deficient, because I can't make anything of his scribbles." Uriel let out a dejected sigh to distract everyone from the fact that the Vlog's intention was to hold sothing over Jon in case he needed it in the future.

dusa would have loved to take over the Vlog and start showcasing all the upgrades she made, but she had to settle with just ntioning them in passing. The discussion about whether or not Water warlock was a god had to wait, since Jon brought them more questions than answers which ant there was only one subject left for discussion.

"Say, Luna, Jon made you the sa offer Lister gave . You were so mad at for refusing and now you did the sa thing."

"I said I can't beco stronger, not that I didn't want to." Luna replied with a blank face.

"Sure, but he still offered to train you and you turned him down." Nika squished Luna's thin biceps and couldn't help but let out a giggle at her softness.

"I don't need muscles, I need power. In this form I don't get tired and I have way more strength than any regular ascended, but no matter how much muscle mass I gain it doesn't affect my lycanthrope form." As usual, her facial expressions didn't leak any emotion and her inner world remained a secret from everyone.

"I think we're almost over here, just one more thing." Uriel said, then turned off the cara before continuing. "I'm quite sure I t an angel before. At the ti I thought he was just a hunter, but it fits Jon's description of angels perfectly."

"Don't you an Luna's?" Nika asked.

"No, he actually didn't fit in the mythological picture of an angel. Sure, he had long black wings and protected from evil spirits..."

"Ika's boyfriend?" dusa gasped.

"If he truly is an angel, I doubt he'd like being rembered as soone's boyfriend." Nika pointed at the sky as though they were being watched.

"I doubt he would like anything or care about anything we can do. When Jon ntioned feathered assholes I imdiately thought of Manu. That guy gave the creeps and I didn't know the reason, ok, I did know the reason. He was a jerk." Uriel scoffed, then shifted his tone and continued. "But I think he had good intentions. I an, he asked to take his life in order to...

oh." Uriel realized the answers he sought had always been under his nose and he didn't like that feeling one bit.
