The next morning, Uriel woke up to a splashing sound coming from downstairs. His keep heavenly rank senses inford him it was a quadruped creature running inside the library, though he wasn't too worried since he already guessed who caused those sounds.
The wild girl rushed upstairs on all fours carrying a dead fish on her mouth. Under the morning light Urie couldn't help but notice the not so subtle movent of her abundant womanly attributes and his first instinct was to turn his head the other side, but the girl didn't stop her race until she was face to face with him looking him dead in the eye.
She was so close he could feel the fresh sll of the catfish she caught.
"Did you bring this for ?" He asked in hopes of learning whether she sunderstood human speech, but she didn't show any signs of understanding. Dubious, Uriel slowly moved his hand to grab the fish as a warning grolw escaped her throat and as soon as he took the fish, the girl jumped back. "Is she a cat or sothing?"
As strange as her behavior was, Uriel was still grateful that she brought him breakfast. He bought a gas stove from his souvenir shop and prepared the fish for cooking, he was no chef, but he learned a thing or two during the brief period he lived with dusa.
A puzzled expression remained on the face of the wild girl the whole ti Uriel cooked, it was as though she didn't understand what he was doing, but once the sll of the fish cooking ca out, she rushed in, grabbed the whole thing for herself and started eating.
"Hey! I thought it was for both of us! It wasn't even done yet!" Uriel said in a scolding tone of voice and even though the girl didn't seem to understand his words, she certainly understood the tone of his voice and brought back what was left of the half cooked fish. "Yeah, I can't eat this now."
After this, the girl looked genuinely sad and Uriel felt bad for treating her like that.
"Don't worry, I have food for myself." He said as he bought a couple canned tomato soups from his souvenir shop. Whie it was convenient to buy food from there, it was also expensive and the choices were limited. He coudn't be sure as to why so items were on his souvenir shop while others weren't, but his best guess was that he was only able to buy items that had an impact on human history.
After all, they all ca from a souvenir shop and not a supermarket.
The girl's face showed how impressed she was by food appearing from out of thin air and since Uriel couldn't explain properly since she couldn't understand a word he said, he simply said.
"Magic." It was the shortest explanation, though for a man of science like him it was beyond frustrating to attribute it to magic.
"Magic?" She echoed with a questioning tone and then her eyes glimred and she turned her body into water, erging a short while after completely clean. "Magic!"
"Wow! You're a hunter! That's your trait!" Uriel gasped, though the girl kept repeating the word 'magic' over and over.
Uriel shared one of the canned soups with the girl who drank it greedily and after the short al she rubbed her body against Uriel's in a fashion much similar to that of Luna.
"Stop it! Why did sothing like this had to happen to ? I'm a healthy man, you know. If you continue rubbing those on ," Uriel hid his face in his hands while the girl thanked him profusedly for the al. "At least get so clothes on!"
The girl did not understand why Uriel was so flustered, but once he made clothes appear from his souvenir shop she imdiately beca wary. Uriel pointed towards the brand new apparel, then pointed towards his own clothes until she seemingly understood.
However, as soon as he tried to put the clothes on her she began struggling. She didn't use much force, not for a hunter at least, but it was still difficult to dress soone who didn't want to get dresses, especially while trying to avoid accidentally touching her.
"Okay, listen. I'll let you co with , but you need to wear clothes." Uriel explained and the girl growled in reply and continued struggling. "At least the underwear, please." He let out a frustrated sigh as he dropped to the ground wondering why did he always end up with worthless people.
The worst part was that he couldn't even bla her, since she must think that he was trying to restrict her movent to capture her.
The fact that she had a trait ant that she had to be at least part human and leaving her behind in such a dangerous place was unthinkable for Uriel, but he also knew he couldn't show up in the city with a naked woman, especially one as voluptuous and beautiful as her, without drawing too much attention.
But even if that was possible, he knew if any of his companions saw him like that he was a dead man.
"Please, just..." Uriel muttered and this ti the girl seed to understand how he felt and cald herself. She didn't cooperate while Uriel dressed her, but she also didn't struggle anymore. In the end, he managed to get her dressed, though getting her to wear a bra was impossible and he settled with using a bikini top instead.
With that done, Uriel was finally at ease and was ready to continue on his way.
Since he was most likely the one who will do most of the fighting, Uriel handed her his backpack and they set off west. The girl seed to have taken a liking to Uriel and she ekly followed him all the way across the lost city with a smile. However, just as they were about to exit the city, the girl started emitting a low growl once again.
"What's the matter? You don't want to leave your ho?" Uriel was already expecting sothing like that to happen and for that purpose he bought so snacks to lure her along the way, but she didn't react to them and wouldn't part her eyes from the swamplands to the west.
At that mont, Uriel realized her senses were sharper than his, but it was already too latem, they were already in danger.
