After finding out the truth about the dungeon of the belly button of the world and the only thod of exiting the dungeon, Uriel made his way across the ancient structure facing different kinds of cryptids, lizards, birds and troubleso insects. So of them looked terrifying, but the vast majority were of the beast rank which ant they couldn't stop him, only delay the inevitable.

After entering a seemingly empty chamber, Uriel triggered a spike trap right off the bat and his feet were pierced causing him to fall face first into a flathrower. Because of that, he beca wary and began translating the scriptures on the wall in hopes of finding a way to move forward without activating the traps.

"Let's see, it says: 'Only the wise may pass'." Uriel pondered for a few minutes trying to understand the aning behind those words as he waited for Water warlock's blessing to regenerate his body. "Wisdom and adulthood are related and If I rember correctly, Manu said only adults could enter this dungeon, but I don't have the tahonga which proofs I'm an adult.

Without it, the traps will be triggered as soon as I step inside the chamber."

He thought long and hard about his situation, but he couldn't afford to waste any more ti into deciphering the safe way to pass the chambers. Fortunately for Uriel, he had no need for that. After activating his Dash skill, he ran at full speed in a straight line, ignoring the many wounds that covered his body after his short race.

After activating so many traps he looked like a pin cushion, but thanks to his regenerative ability that was nothing but a small nuisance.

The next room was similar to the one he just passed, though the scriptures were different and Uriel carefully studied them as he pulled the many arrows that were jabbed into his flesh.

'To pass this chamber, one must take oneself lightly.'

"Great! So the only way to avoid triggering the traps is to fly over the traps." Uriel said sarcastically, knowing full well that, once again, he would be forced to use Dash in order and dodge whatever perils the chamber had in store for him.

Room after room, Uriel was forced to endure all sorts of painful traps designed specifically to prevent humans from entering, while leaving the path open for flying creatures like the Air spirit people or even even Sam, who had the earring to prove he was an adult and it also allowed him to fly.

Uriel took a minute to ready himself for the pain that will ensue after setting foot on the next chamber. But all the excruciating pain he suffered ant nothing compared to the vile act he had to commit in order to exit the dungeon and if there was one thing he feared more than physical pain, was to lose his humanity.

From the minute he woke up in the hospital after coming back from Chichén Itzá that had beed his biggest worry. He ca back different, like he was missing sothing precious to him, but that allowed him to do things he never thought possible before.

Thanks to that he was able to achieve great things which could have been a good thing, if not for the fact that the price of his achievents was sacrificing a part of his humanity.

Such thoughts kept him focused on his final destination and prevented him to falter when facing the nurous traps that caused him a world of hurt.

'I deserve this.' He thought. Even if those people deserved it, nothing changed the fact that he was indeed responsible for many deaths. 'I truly deserve this.' Even if he didn't feel anything for dusa, he couldn't forgive himself for leading her on for so long. He knew he had feelings for her, but he knew he would be lying to himself if he said that was the main reason why he did it.

The true reason why he led her on was because she was useful.

That was the sad truth he couldn't admit to himself, that he kept close to his friends because they were useful to him. Because of that, all the pain turned into redemption, not just for what he'd done so far, but also for what he was about to do.

By the ti Uriel reached the concealed door, he already knew that there were only two ways of entering the place. One was to carry the ceremonial reimiro, which was a sign of authority and status and the other was to belong to the Air spirit people tribe.

However, that beca unnecessary thanks to his [Dungeon Raider] title, which allowed him to bypass the security asures designed to keep trespassers away.

When the door opened and the imnsity of the sea was revealed in front of him, Uriel shivered in anticipation of the world of pain he was about to endure because he knew there was no smart solution, no cleaver puzzle, nothing that could spare him from having to swim all the way across the many rock formations.

That place was designed as a physical endurance trial and there was no way around it.

Without so much of a second thought, Uriel dived into the waters heading towards the nearest rock formation. The waters were infested by cryptids of all sorts, but his energy signature was so minute the only cryptids drawn towards him were the kind of creature he was able to dispose of with ease.

One after the other, Uriel moved across the waters as fast as he could, swimming with more instinct than technique since it was his first ti on deep water. The more ti passed, the better he beca at it but the strenuous physical effort took a toll on him and his body ached as though it was being pierced from within with a thousand needles.

Still, that didn't ca without his reward because just when he felt he couldn't swim anymore, the system gave him an unexpected, but much appreciated, reward.

[System notice] Physical training level 2 completed, reward: 10 trites.
